This teriyaki place is clean and pretty new! Their teriyaki is grilled and everything is fresh. I only get their tofu teriyaki and it’s always satisfying. It comes with plenty of rice under your choice of meat with salad on the side. Their garlic sauce is the best thing! It’s good with the rice, tofu, or salad! I also tried their fries recently and it’s the perfect texture of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside! It also is great paired with their signature garlic sauce. Their service is super friendly and quick. Highly recommend over any other teriyaki joint.

Best Teriyaki in Issaquah –no doubt. The owners know what they’re doing. They have delicious food & clean interior. Their food come in a microwavable togo box. They got the portions right so you don’t stay hungry after you finish eating. They got a modern vibe at the restaurant, feels like a chain serving delicious healthy made to order teriyaki japanese food! Recommended!

Probably one of my most confusing reviews. Food is good, slow delivery. Today the front doors were open and a bird flew into the place. No worries, everything was cool. Staff ignored it, bird flew out.

Overpriced for the quality. When I was ordering the phone rang and the lady just answered without saying anything to me. Very rude. Not impressed and you can get better quality for the price. I bought 2 meals and spring rolls it was over $ 30!

3.5 stars. I come here for the garlic sauce, I love the garlic sauce! I always get the crispy chicken without teriyaki sauce, the chicken quality could be better, but I still eat it because it’s dipped in garlic sauce. I always get an extra garlic sauce and all rice(no salad) and make two meals out of it, so the cost is ok.

When it comes to finding a great teriyaki place, the decision is easy; Teriyaki Bistro. The food is far above standard(taste, chicken, rice, beef… etc.). Upmost kudos to them for having such a nice sit down area and service.

Whenever I’m in the Issaquah area and hungry, Teriyaki Bistro is one of my favorite restaurants to grub at. My favorite meal is the crispy beef! What is it you ask? Well it’s basically Chicken Katsu but instead they use beef! WHAT you say? Don’t knock it until you try it! The other good thing to try here is the garlic sauce that comes with every meal. It’s so good, they sell larger squeeze bottles that you can use on almost anything. The salad is also not bad here as well. I typically skip eating the salad at most other teriyaki joints. Overall, the food is awesome, location is easy, right next to Fred Meyer, and the service is always good.

I’ve been coming here for several years, ever since I moved to Issaquah. At first, I thought that the food is pretty good. But I feel like the quality has gone down over the years and the price has gone up. The chicken is ok, sometimes its dry & rubbery, and the rice is dry and hard to eat sometimes. But that garlic sauce is like crack yo! I sometimes buy bottles of it. I like to use the garlic sauce for the coleslaw salad and to dip my chicken in. My favorite combo is #6, sweet and spicy chicken teriyaki. I always get that ALLTHETIME. They cook it up pretty quickly, so I’m usually in and out in less than 10 minutes. I would say give it 3.5 stars overall.

I was a regular here for quite some time, as it’s next to where I work. The teriyaki and the crispy chicken are great, very rarely dry or overdone. And the garlic sauce; wow. But… as has been said, the employees are not the friendliest. Sometimes the energy in there doesn’t feel quite right. The rice is mediocre(though, how often do you go to a restaurant and get good rice, right?) and the salad tastes like paper. I always ask for my order without the soy sauce because they put too much. But the biggest problem: portion and price. I was only eating there often during a time when I had more money than I knew what to do with. If you want to get just the main course with no rice and no salad, they only give you one piece of it(i.e. if you ask for chicken with no rice and no salad, they’ll only give you one tiny piece of chicken). Their gyoza is dry, too sweet, and their chicken eggrolls are 90% vegetables.

Stopped in for dinner because it smelled amazing from outside. Got the SG1 combo. Half grilled half crispy teriyaki chicken, rice and a salad. The grilled chicken was great. Hot, fresh, not to sweet. Just right. The crispy chicken was luke warm, and lacking flavor. Place wasn’t comfortable at all. Metal chairs, tables etc. Big old garbage can right in the middle of the lobby. Obviously to everyone else it is a take away place. Saw ten customers come get food while i was there and they all took it to go. Side note: they had two tvs playing a muppets movie. Creeped me out a little bit.

Unfriendly, no refills on fountain sodas, expensive as far as teriyaki goes. Only thing worth coming back for is the garlic sauce. Yummm Yummm

Get the #2(Spicy Garlic Chicken) and potstickers with the roasted garlic sauce and enjoy the first day of the rest of your life. You won’t find anything like this anywhere else in our solar system. Hot damn, that’s good stuff!!!

The food quality is not like it use to be. The chicken tastes freezer burned and the rice tastes like the plastic containers. Beef was over cooked and the prices are really high. Save your money, because this place is not worth it.

3.5 stars. I come here for the sauce. the garlic sauce. if it weren’t for the sauce, I probably wouldn’t come. I’ve had better beef teriyaki and spicy chicken teriyaki at different teriyaki joints, but damn… the garlic sauce is addicting! I make sure to order extra to dunk my teriyaki meat in, and then dunk that same piece into some teriyaki sauce, and then put it together with a serving of rice that’s perfect for the size of my mouth. yum yum yum. that’s all, really.

They are fine. No wow factor, no disgusting factor. If you want meat, sauce, and rice to fill your belly they will do. I honestly don’t hate them or love them, I am truly ambivalent about this restaurant.

Absolutely Delish! Love the garlic sauce. You can purchase extra and a bigger bottle for home use too! Only thing I have noticed is the wings when I’ve ordered them sometimes they arent cooked all the way. I had to return back and just get something else. The chicken is great and the beef is awesome. Everything is good.

Haven’t even received my food yet, so this is purely based on service. Waited over two minutes and wasn’t even greeted. There were a total of four employees. Two were sitting down eating. Then when I asked for sriracha for my to go order the guy rolled his eyes and was clearly irritated that I asked him for this for whatever reason. Not sure what the disconnect is here, but they definitely aren’t about customer service, so don’t expect it!!!

I’m just not a huge fan of this place for some reason. It’s not the service, or it being dirty, I just don’t care for much of the menu or the food. They don’t do Free refills of sodas so as weird as it sounds ask for no ice in your fountain soda. The soda comes out of the machine cold and otherwise you either pay or drink water, which they offer plenty of.

If I could, I would rate Teriyaki Bistro as 3 ½ stars. I like the fact that when you walk in, you can smell the food being cooked on the huge grill in front of you. We ordered the fried chicken and teriyaki chicken combo, as well as the teriyaki chicken combo with gyoza and a drink. Definitely use the garlic sauce that accompanies your order. This is one of the best teriyaki joints in Issaquah.

It’s all about the garlic sauce for me! I just can’t get enough of the stuff. I always order the chicken Teriyaki with breast meat only(so no dark meat) and an extra side of garlic sauce. I rarely eat the side of salad that is given so I usually ask them to just leave it off. It’s nothing special. Honestly, the chicken is good but bland BUT put a little on your fork, add a chuck of the white rice and dip in the garlic sauce. BAM! So good! Honestly, I could just get a bowl of rice and the garlic sauce and eat them without the chicken. Just go try the sauce. I promise you will get addicted! As for the restaurant itself… usually pretty clean & the bathrooms are nice. Everything is served in to go containers whether you are staying or going. Sometimes the tables can be «used» so you have to brush off the previous persons mess. Again, nothing too special but comfortable. I enjoy that they have a self serve-water dispenser with lemon.
