I’ve been eating here for almost 10 years and this will always be my go to sushi place. I currently live almost an hour away and I will make that drive just for their ispecial and shrimp katsu roll. Always amazing food and service.

WORSTCUSTOMERSERVICEEVER. I ordered my food and they told me 10 minutes, 10 – 15 minutes later I walk in and it is not ready so i leave and come back, 20 – 25 minutes later it is still not ready, after waiting 30 – 35 minutes my food is 20 – 25 minutes late and my lunch break is nearing its end. I asked the cashier if they could give me a discount to make up for being so late and she went and asked her superior who came up with the excuse«The store manager isn’t here, we can give you some candy». I call back the next day and I get hung up on, then I get told they are busy and they will call me back at THEIR convenience. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional customer service.

Not too bad for a sushi belt place. The service was good and we were seated immediately during the lunch rush.

I a less impressed with each visit. Like nigiri or normal favorites like salmon, Maguro or hamachi? Forget it. Expect endless tray of roll s light on fish, heavy in sauce or vegetable. Wish these guys would get back to basics. Prices are too high fo what they offer.

My husband and I were so glad to find a conveyer belt sushi place when we moved here! iSushi is great, a little on the pricier side, but we’ve never had a bad experience either with customer service or with the sushi itself. I tend to go for the cooked and fried foods and also love their green iced tea. My husband enjoys their raw sushi rolls and the cooked ones as well. Overall, if you’re willing to spend a little more, it’s a great place. Usually our ticket with just the two of us ends up around 30 $ or so, depending on how hungry we are.

New rotating sushi restaurant in town??? Had to try. It’s yummy. Good quality, fresh sushi. Spacious clean space and good service. And more importantly, good prices! I got over-full(the only way to eat sushi) and had a half variety and paid less than $ 15. Winning.

I terribly missed Blue C after giving this place a try. I spit out my tuna roll(tekka maki) because it had a foul smell and taste. All the food tasted so horrible and low quality. The only thing that was good was the katsu. Even the tempura was not crisp and had no taste. The place does not seem to be very clean and fresh.

Reasonable price with very good and fresh sushi for sure. Very friendly staff who makes me smile when I go there. I would go back again for sure! Highly recommended!

We stopped by on a weeknight, and we were seated right away. The place was filled with locals, which is nice. Although it might not seem that big from the outside, the space is pretty long, so there is plenty of seating. For conveyor belt sushi, there is a decent selection of sushi and rolls. You can order off of the menu as well: we got an order of tempura(a little soggy) and a plain udon(ok), but the sushi and rolls were pretty good. My favorite was the ama ebi shrimp with the fried heads, decently prices at 5.50 for the order. Overall, iSushi is a little on the pricy side for conveyor belt sushi, but is a decent choice if I don’t want to head to Bellevue or Seattle for sushi.

I recently moved up here to the PNW from Los Angeles. And I was starting to become alarmed that whenever I looked up Japanese food up here I was only finding teriyaki places. I needed a good sushi place near me and I’m so glad I found iSushi! Some conveyor belt sushi places have questionable sushi, but this one has wonderfully fresh and tasty sushi. Only once did I get a not so great looking slice of salmon on my nigiri, but it still tasted wonderful so I won’t fault them. The variety here is wonderful too. So I can take my friends who don’t enjoy sushi and only eat the cooked dishes. Tempura, takoyaki, karaage, unagi, tamago, poke, gyoza, seaweed salad, this place has it all! With very polite staff even if you show up a bit too close to closing, they won’t shoo you away. *Note, if you accidentally come here on a sports night, the TV’s will be cranked up and the chefs will be a bit glued to the screen. @_@ I’m in the minority I know, but I hate TV’s in restaurants. I was over this place around about the time the conveyor belt made it’s second passing by me and my husband. If what was on the conveyor belt wasn’t good enough of a reason for us to bounce, then the sushi«chefs» were. Seated at the counter and right in front of the conveyor, the«chefs» are directly behind the belt. These«chefs» are cutting fish and vegetables, etc while they also had a dirty wash cloth on their cutting board and to wipe their knives. The food on the conveyor belt was difficult to discern against their menu so you weren’t exactly quite sure what you were getting. Because we are not actual«sushi lovers»(we only really like the cooked stuff), the items we were choosing that were cooked weren’t actually hot or even in some cases warm. In the 45 minutes we sat there choosing our plates, we spent over $ 50(completely outrageous), had terrible service(think of a bar setting in a huge horseshoe with two waitresses), and were concerned about its cleanliness. Never again.

I couldn’t believe that iSushi has been around for ten years and we have not known about it. Big thanks to Stan Y. for reviewing it. Issaquah has become so overpopulated, and its streets are so unprepared to handle the added traffic that we’ve stayed away as much as possible. iSushi gives me a reason to fight through the ordeal. It is the best kaiten sushi place that we have been to, and we have tried many. The combination of variety, creativity, quality and reasonable prices can’t be beat.

Here is my old impression of revolving sushi stores. Price is OK, the portion is decent, but the quality and the freshness are below average. There are always a few plates with dried salmon and tuna sashimi pieces rotating around, waiting for the next sucker to pick them up. And this impression was changed at iSushi. I have to admit that they got some nice quality sashimi in good cuts. Visited the place at week day lunch time. Lots of people at the place but not very crowded so we found a seat right away. A glance at the revolving track and I can see some good quality sashimi and sushi pieces rotating around, as well as some pastries. The first thing I tried was a mixed raw salmon, tuna and white fish chunks in Hawaii ahi poke style. The fish chunks are marinated in mild sauce then assembled on top of green salads. The dish was just OK for me. The sauce was too mild and the tuna piece were falling apart, probably marinated too long. And the dish portion is a little too big IMHO. I’d rather this dish to be a smaller plate with lower price, so I can enjoy more dishes. The salmon sashimi was pretty decent, fresh and large portioned. A big plus. Another good choice? Baked mussels with cheese on top. Ahi tuna was really good. The red tuna was still glazing with moisten, which definitely increased my appetite. The sauce is a little unnecessary though. As we were eating, the chef began to make new sashimi from some snappers and octopus. Fresh sashimi just made by the chef? We must have them. They turned out to be the highlight of our lunch. It was so tender and juicy that each bite you could taste the sweet flavor of ocean. These are definitely the best sashimi I’ve ever tasted in any revolving sushi place. Bill time. For three of us, we spent around $ 54 plus tips. It’s a little in the high end… mainly because my mom took a few plate that looks pretty but not my most favorite dish. Choose your plate wisely, and you definitely could enjoy a nice sushi meal with good budget.

Yowza! Do those small little plates of goodness add up. Might as well go to one of the all you can eat buffets. You’ll get a lot more bang for your buck. However, the sushi quality here was really impressive for conveyor belt sushi and much, much better than the sushi at most buffets. We were impressed and happy. Until we got the bill. Haha. But seriously, this is decent sushi and some of the more expensively priced plates contain real works of art. I wouldn’t recommend coming here with kids. My kids love the conveyor belt. Problem is they inevitably beg(and grab) for the non-sushi and heavily marked up items(explaining the large bill at the end). To prevent fighting we had to get them each a dessert($ 4 each) plus a fruit plate and watermelon. At $ 3 a slice, iSushi is making quite a profit off of watermelon. The desserts at least were very good(chocolate cake and cheesecake). Despite some overpriced items, I would have given them four stars for a fun experience and good quality sushi. But their service is really slow and lacking. Several times we had to all but wave our arms wildly in the air to get the waitress to come over. They also mistakenly gave us two special house salads instead of the one ordered. Fortunately, they did take off the extra salad at the end(we had sent it back) so that ended up ok. We will likely come back but next time mommy and daddy are sitting next to the conveyor belt conveniently blocking access to it by our kids.

If there was a separate rating for service and food, I would give it a 4 for food and a negative number for service. The entire time we were there, the Spanish speaking sushi cooks insulted my girlfriend. She and I are both fluent in Spanish. They were weighing in on what they thought of her. One of them called her a pig, one called her ugly and the other said she was hot. Sexual harassment, in any language, is unacceptable. I will never step foot in this place again. My biggest regret is that I didn’t confront them while we were there, but we didn’t want to cause a scene. We called them as well to complain. Worse dining experience ever.

This is a conveyor belt sushi place. I had previously tried Genki Sushi in Factoria Bellevue a few times and I prefer this restaurant. The sushi is fresher here than some other places I’ve tried. We went late on a Thursday but it was still pretty crowded which speaks to its popularity with the local crowd. Whatever is not coming down the belt can be quickly prepared by the chef who stands in the center of the oval conveyor belt loop, so you see it being made right there. The plates were typically priced at $ 1.50, $ 2, $ 3, $ 4, $ 5 but the quantities vary. I didn’t see anything at $ 1.50 really, most stuff was in the $ 2-$ 4 range, mainly rolls. There were usually 2 – 4 bites on each plate, so if you’re into premium sushi the plates can add up really quickly. We had the spicy tuna roll made by the chef and also tried several eel based rolls. Cucumber rolls were very typical. The Godzilla roll was decent but not amazing. We also tried the green tea tiramisu portion for $ 4. It was soft but tasted a day old and a little too weird for my taste. I would avoid next time. Service was ok, restaurant was emptying out as we walked in so that may have been the reason for ok service. I like that they give wasabi and ginger right there instead of bringing it every time you ask. Giving it 4 stars just because I am pleased there is a local place where I can go and eat a little or a lot of sushi!

When I went, we had to order all of the plates from the waitress to get our food that we wanted. When I go to a conveyor belt sushi place, I kind of want it right then and there. The udon was good, better than most conveyor style sushi places. Pretty fair variety.

When you walk in seeing Seahawks banners you know this place is bona fide. Amaebi butter-sweet-licious and there is something carnivorous and gratifying crunching down on the shrimp heads looking at you pleading for mercy. Creative rolls keep the joint fresh and hip. *Order Uni from Juan and he will ever give you the biggest smile ;)
