There were six active tables out of thirty, and the servers and cooks couldn’t even keep up. They seemed to be overstaffed with hostesses, and gave us attitude about how busy they were. The breakfasts came out one at a time. Do not come here.

Food poisoning. We ordered the bison meatloaf(okay) and the mac n cheese for my daughter. My daughter has never turned down any mac n cheese so when she refused to eat this, we had to see why. I took a bite and it tasted awful. It almost tasted like seafood? Anyway my husband finished it because it cost so much, we hated to see it go to waste. A few hours later he got food poisoning. Never ever again.

Delicious nibs and friendly bartender. The deviled eggs and the smoked wings are delish and highly recommended.

Great place with a great view to grab a bite or drinks après ski. We took advantage of daily happy hour from 3 – 6. I really enjoyed the brisket nachos on kettle chips and everyone else likes their burgers.

The food here was amazing! However, they were under staffed so service was lacking. Quite pricey but ample servings.

«Nothing to write home about…» pretty much sums it up(Thank you Tyler J). Service is good, with Eastern European waiters who speak excellent English and have a lovely disposition. Outstanding local views make this a nice place to dine.

We stayed at the Snow King Resort, which we were very, very pleased with. Prior to our trip, we looked online and read the mostly positive reviews for Haydens Post restaurant and we looked over the menu posted online on the Snow King’s webpage. We had two breakfasts at Haydens Post, one lunch, and one dinner. The restaurant is clean, the personnel is friendly and polite, and the décor is very cool and inviting. We really like the atmosphere there. Since our visit was sort of off season, the place was not crowded. Breakfast was delicious. They have a very nice breakfast menu. Lunch was the same. Typical fare, combined with a few original dishes. Lunch was also very good. One evening we were craving a nice dinner and we decided to eat at Haydens Post. The only con that I can mention is, we were very disappointed in the dinner menu selection. I realize that some of the local game items that are shown on the online sample menu are seasonal, but I felt like there wasn’t much to choose from. We were really looking forward to Bison, or Elk, or a local fish. We had to settle for Bison burgers. Besides a regular steak, it was the closest we could get. The food was good, and the service was good, but the summertime menu selection left a lot to be desired. Overall, the experience was pleasant and the food and service was good, but I was hoping to be blown away by a dish that isn’t usually available back east, and that didn’t happen. We loved the Snow King Resort though, and it is likely that we will return to the resort, and we will give Haydens Post another chance to impress with dinner. My only advise is to check the menu at the hostess station before you’re seated. It very well may not resemble the sample menu that is online on the Snow King’s webpage.

Wished I looked at the other Unilocal reviews before coming here. I had been waiting to order lunch and the waiter ignored me and went straight to another table that just sat down. I gave him some time to come by, tried eye contact, nothing. Wow, I’m petite but not invisible. The resort is very nice but there are a lot other friendlier places with excellent food in town. I hardly ever give 1 star, but this was a really really bad experience.

I’ve had breakfast twice at this place. I would not recommend it. The food is… okay, nothing to write home about. The service is horrible. I had to ask for silverware twice and I had three different people serving me. I also had to request condiments. The waiters are not knowledgable about the menu and, frankly, leave a lot to be desired in the customer service realm. The people next to me complained that their food was cold and the waiter told them that he could go put it under the heat lamp. Seriously. When they requested that the meal be served properly, the waiter said, «Sorry, we can’t do that, we aren’t serving breakfast anymore.» So there’s that.

My family and I wanted to go on the alpine slide, and found this place because it is right there. The outside seating was packed, but we were able to secure a spot with an umbrella, and they allow dogs on site… which is a plus. The other plus is the staff… our waitress was great and did her best to be accommodating(she was from New Hampshire, but I didn’t catch her name). We struggled mightily with the wait time(it was close to an hour and it was clearly out of the norm since our waitress gave us a complimentary mediocre Bloody Mary), but the«cherry on top» was the food. It was terrible. I had a chicken sandwich with bacon infused cheese(I think?), and it was merely sliced deli chicken with a collection of poor flavors on ciabatta bread(to allow for a steep ticket price). My son, whose favorite meal is mac and cheese(homemade is preferred, but he’ll gobble up some Kraft if necessary), took one bite and said(very clearly) «Blech!» and didn’t take another bite. It looked homemade, but he didn’t like it.(Okay, so he’s three… maybe he’s not one to be trusted as a food critic). My husband, however, was dismayed to find the end half of lettuce(that inch thick piece of an iceberg head that people typically do not add to hamburgers), making his already too-thick burger even more monstrous. And it was dry. I’m certain this was an anomaly, and others will have a better experience… but for this family, it was enough for my husband(who is not a Unilocaler, and often mocks my appreciation for a solid Unilocal review) to ask me to write a review. You have been warned, and I hope your experience is better than ours… but do try to get the waitress from NH, she’s very nice!

Just stopping in for a beer and some live music. Very nice deck. I can’t speak for the food as I did not eat. But the beer was cold and tasty. All good fun! I did hit the check in button on Unilocal and a 25% off coupon appeared. So check in and try the food.

We made a reservation for 6 pm dinner. Arrived a few minutes early but promptly seated. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. We did eventually get water to go with our menus. From that point on, it seemed that the staff went out of their way to ignore our existence. After 20 minutes — we walked out and enjoyed a lovely dinner at the Gun Barrel on the other side of town.

Thought I would try the breakfast out and I liked it! We were served right away with a friendly waiter. The place wasn’t crowded and was peaceful. I ordered the Hayden’s Post breakfast; two eggs any style, hash browns and choice of meat, bacon. The eggs came out as I ordered them and bacon was yummy. Hash browns were good as well. I also had the Bloody Mary which tasted really good with my breakfast. I will come back for sure!

This review is for their breakfast service. I ate here with my group while staying at the hotel last week. While the staff was friendly, the service was slow and disorganized. One member of our group was served a child’s portion. The pancakes we ordered were undercooked and chewy. The lattes were watery. Stick to oatmeal or granola if you have to eat here.

Too many hotels have bad food at high prices. Best hotel Resturant I have eaten at in a long time. And best of all it’s really reasonable prices. Great service. Great ambiance! They were flexible to special requests.

We were staying at the Snow King Resort and a few nights decided to get some drinks from the bar here. We never did end up eating here as I thought the food was a little pricey for what it was. They had a good selection of beer on tap and available in bottles. I really liked the Teton Amber Ale that they had on tap. The décor of this place is cute as is the décor of the entire hotel. Lots of moose antler chandeliers, etc. We also ordered drinks from here to take down to the hot tub. They put everything in plastic cups for us to have by the pool area.
