Perfect in every way — inventive menu and prepared great. Try the brussels sprouts and elk pasta — each are fantastic. Charlie was a great server too. There’s also a great happy hour — 4−6pm is half price drinks.

Great spot in Jackson! Came for lunch and was talked in to a fried chicken sandwich on a DONUT by the bartender. Phenominal choice. Bartenders there were friendly and attentive. Only knock is that they can have more local beers on tap!

Love having a newish delicious spot in town to chose from! Gather regularly switches up their menu and always has something new and different. Their cocktails are on point and I can’t get enough of their steamed buns and macaroni croquettes! If you’re looking for the perfect happy hour spot with colleagues for after work or an all out date night with your hunny — check out Gather!

Best meal we had during our stay in jackson! The Brussel sprouts, elk bolognese, and mushroom dish were outstanding. We shared plates amongst our party of 4, which I highly recommend since the dishes were fairly rich, and it was fun to try different things.

The food is outstanding. Their chef is killing it with the winter menu. Service was great too. Trust your server. Every time I’ve gone in I have practically let them order my wine/meal and it’s always on point. Décor is cool but not over done. Love how they give you your check in a recycled book at the end of the meal. Get the Pork Buns.

New chefs are doing great new things. The food is inventive and very tasty! The farro salad is delicious. The beets and squash in the house made vinaigrette is to die for. The beef tongue frites sound a bit strange but are amazing! My children even liked them. Service is slow and not the best but it is worth it. I will definitely be back to see what the chefs are up to next.

It was a lot more than 2 dollar signs in terms of price. And my portion size was too small.

We LOVED our experience at Gather. We had a party of 4 and were so happy with EVERYTHING we ordered, the service, the atmosphere, it was very impressive!!! I loved my Roasted Wild Mushroom dish, the flavor was incredible! Everyone else at the table raved about their selections as well, from starters to dessert, we were very happy! We were a party of two locals and 2 semi-locals, and all agreed that Gather is one of our new favorite spots! Can’t wait to go back! it wasn’t a «loud» restaurant by any means, but some where that you could laugh and joke without feeling like you were going to get in trouble or that people were looking sideways at you. We easily carried on a great conversation, perfect place for anything from a date to a business meeting or to just go and have a great meal with friends! See you again soon, Gather!!! ***after reading some of the other reviews on here, I feel it’s important to mention that my understanding is that the restaurant has come under new management or owners or chefs or something… not sure what, but I’ve heard this though the rumor mill. Check this place out for yourself and don’t let the poor reviews from months ago discourage you! I know you will enjoy it as much as we did!

Large restaurant with a decent wine and drink menu. We had the beef tongue frites. Very good but a lot of protein, so would pair wisely. Had the special which was the monkfish, fairly good but chef forgot one of the ingredients. But came out quickly after we mentioned it. I had the braised beef cheek with spaetzle. Was really good and super filling. Spaetzle was perfect and cheek was tender. We had the monte cristo for dessert, best part of the meal. Basically fried bread pudding.

The service was great– very attentive. The food was good but I wasn’t blown away until… the flourless chocolate cake. I don’t even love chocolate cake, but my husband does so we split it. Omg. I’m still dreaming about it. I got the fried chicken for dinner. It was good but not my fav. The woman next to me got the scallops and they looked wonderful. We also had the Mac n cheese appetizer and smoked Gouda biscuits. I thought both were bland. Overall, I wish I had just ordered a few chocolate cakes for myself and called it a night.

For the price, I expected more. My surf and turf portions were pretty small and my smoked scallop bread pudding was served cold, and then only luke warm in the middle the second time. The monkfish was excellent, though, and the red wine beef was decent. I enjoyed the Brussels sprouts and the Gouda biscuits. Overall the food was decent, but probably not worth the cost.

Went to Jackson for a late lunch. Mac and cheese was great for the kids. I liked it also. Pot pie was different but tasty. Artichoke appetiser was excellent. We are from Nebraska so this is a change of pace from what we normally get.

MAC&CHEESECROQUETTES!!! If its one thing you must eat in Jackson Hole, this is it. $ 11 for three deep fried truffle fatty cheesy YUM! I stole a couple bites of this from my co-worker…its the best things I’ve ever stolen in my life. So yummy! $ 19 Wagyu Steak Salad… tasty, but a bit too spicy that it detracts from the quality of the steak itself. And for $ 20, I was expecting a larger entrée sized serving. But everything is more expensive in Jackson Hole. Ambiance: dark, warm, clean and modern environment Staff: Friendly and efficient. Prices: Expensive, but would make a good one time splurge for a romantic vacaty dinner. I’ll be back for that Mac N Cheese…

This review is for the special Tuesday tasting event. I hope to get back to Gather on our next visit to Jackson Hole for dinner. Reservations are required well in advance for the tasting event as the chefs table is limited to twelve people. This is a great way to experience the offerings that will be on the upcoming chefs menu(if they get good reviews). You also get the opportunity to meet the owners, manager, and chef. They pair the food tastings with wine that they are considering putting on their wine list as well. If you love food, wine and getting to share your opinions on presentation, flavor, creativity and price point on each dish, this is the table to book! We were offered an appetizer, a salad, an entrée and a dessert. They bring out a full serving of each so that you can get a visual of what the actual item would look like when ordered. They have you share each plate between three of you; thus the reason they call this a «tasting.» Our starter was a delicious sun choke creation that was fried crispy and had a delightful aioli — I’d come back for this and not share! The salad was mixed greens with locale berries, toasted nuts, goat cheese and a balsamic dressing. The salad was refreshing and pretty, but a bit boring we all thought. The entrée was a pan seered halibut served over sun choke purée and it was outstanding in all categories we rated! This is such a fun way to spend an afternoon with fellow foodies while enjoying good food and drink.

Really great food. I ordered the Brussels Sprouts— omg, sooooo delicious. They were like candy. Plus they had pepitos and cranberries on top. I also got re creamed corn. It was perfectly charred and just a touch of cream. I split the macaroni and cheese with my sister in law. Holy cats, it was amazing. I usually think bacon is nice but not necessary on my Mac, but this was just divine. My husband ordered the fried chicken. He said it was tasty but he wouldn’t order it again. My friend chose the burger which came with pimento cheese. He said it needed more pimento, but was great. Will definitely return when I’m back in JH!

This was a fun spot for the girls to gather for a quick dinner out on the town. To start, the wine list is abysmal – particularly by the glass. We ordered a bottle of Zinfandel, but it was certainly forgettable. The watermelon salad was good. The scallop dish was fresh and hot. My friend’s elk bolognese was so good, she almost licked the bowl. The server was obviously trying to get rid of us, so that was annoying, and the décor is a bit too trendy for me. Overall, it was a good comforting meal, but not over the top.

Venison with Cumin & expresso rub, mole negro, apples, brandies cherries, cashew vinaigrette. More mole negro and crushed in lieu of whole cashews would gave been Perfect. Mango and cucumber starter, simple but nice. Excellent wait staff. Very prompt and informative. Aided well in the dish selection and very personable. An Iron chef winner. The menu does say it but the steak from Snake river Is coby. Nice and comfortable décor. A must if in Jackson.

Was very excited after the many 5-star Unilocal ratings, but despite the nice vibes and great service, the food was extremely disappointing. Pros: The service was great and friendly, and the atmosphere was nice and upbeat inside(fun fact: the building used to be a Chevy garage in the 1950s!). Our waiter recommended the brussel sprout side, which was delicious and very unique with pumpkin seeds and surprisingly pleasant spices mixed in. Cons: Unfortunately, everything else failed to live up to expectations. My sister and I ordered the homemade pasta, which was very average and should have cost closer to $ 10 than $ 24. The chicken that came with the pasta had no seasoning, was unpleasantly chewy, and tasted burnt. My dad got the filet which was very overpriced at $ 42. It was honestly one of the worst cooked steaks I have tasted, with no flavor at all and again a burnt taste, like no effort was put in. Very pricey meal for lackluster food.

Holy ridiculously tasty amazingness… This cute and modern restaurant was pretty outstanding! I came here with a couple of locals and was blown away by the food. Is it pricy? Yes. .but there were some less expensive options… plus, look where we are? Anyway, the three of us started with the Brussels and the pork bao. — The Brussels were great, my friend said they were the best she’d had. They were crispy and flavorful, with notes of salty and sweet. It was awesome. –The pork bao were even better, light airy bun, perfectly cooked pork topped with tangy and spicy toppings… it was like heaven. The only problem? There were only 3 on the plate… I could’ve eaten a million of these things. For my entrée, I had the fried chicken served with bacon mac and cheese. Decadent, you know it! It was only 17 $(much less than other menu items), but the portion was large enough and the quality wasn’t sacrificed. The chicken was an airline chicken breast(which surprised me), perfectly fried crispy and kept juicy in the middle. The mac and cheese was light with some herbs and peppers, but very tasty. I would get this again. Then… Dessert. This is going to sound crazy, but I think the dessert we had here was one of the best desserts I have had(and I have had desserts all over the world). We split the beignets and the chocolate cake. The beignets were tasty, light, sugary and served with 3 sauces — very fresh strawberry sauce, chocolate sauce, and a vanilla sauce of sorts. This was good, but the chocolate cake… that was the real star. I don’t know that I’d even call it a cake, it was served in a jar and was undercooked in the best way possible with a big scoop of locally made espresso ice cream on top. It was gooey and rich… it was so so good, I wanted to lick the jar. Bottom line — go here, it’s pretty fantastic.
