Very and I mean very good service. The food was very good as well. I had steak consider it 4 stars and my wife had pasta consider 3 stars. Nice place with very nice ambiance. The displayed paintings change once in a while we were told and show good taste of the owner. Great place and we purchased a painting.

Good but not great food. Good for families especially for the price in Jackson.

The food here is decent. I liked the salad bar and my sandwich relatively well. …However I am not so sure about the service. No complaints about my waitress but someone did not have all of their ducks in a row because the bussing staff came out and was taking my drinks off of the table and getting ready to wipe it down. Even the waitress told them that someone was using the table after she saw the perplexed look on my face while at the salad bar. No biggie really. The bussing staff apologized as well as the waitress and quickly replaced what was took during the uncalled for clean up.

Went in for a late dinner, around 8:30 The place had a few patrons but all older. You order at a counter and then find your own seat. We were not very hungry so we opted for the Soup and Salad bar and split an order of Chicken wings. They do not have draft beer and a very small selection of domestic and a few local beers. The Snake River Pale Ale came in a can and was about a 2 out of 5 in flavor. The salad bar had a good selection but the lettuce was mostly head lettuce and the dressings were flavorless. The only good part of our meal was the wings. Had a very nice crispy outside and delicous. not too hot… sauce. The wait staff were slow. Go elsewhere…

The salad bar simply has standard salad options and two soup of the days. I got a buffalo burger and as expected the meat was dry. Though that’s probably since it’s so lean. The rice was good though. I had a bite of my dad’s medium steak and it didn’t taste that good. On a positive note, I love the atmosphere. For example, various signs with meat jokes are spread throughout the restaurant. One such sign reads«Of course we serve vegetarians.(What do you think cows are?)» From what I can remember, Sizzler has a more extensive salad bar, at possibly a slightly higher price, but Teton Steakhouse has a greater variety of entrees. In any case, I’m not a big fan of Sizzler, and my experience at Teton is more or less the same: average.

If Teton Steakhouse is your only option after a long day of driving the endless Wyoming road, I would say«drive on, cowboy!» In a word, it sucked. What made the experience particularly abominable was that both the service AND food were sub-par. You walk in to a tired décor(with dead animals mounted on the wall), but the long list of items on the menu posted on the wall suggests it might be one of those hole-in-the-wall but surprisingly great restaurants. Lots of different cuts of steak, shrimp(yeah, suspect in Wyoming I know; but I couldn’t help myself, I’m an island girl!), chicken and a decent variety of sides(potatoes, rice, soup & salad bar). The food was medium pricey, but I thought it might be worth it to get a good cut of beef in the land where cattle roams free. The cashiers up front were probably college kids there for the summer. My problem with them is that they were more interested in chatting with each other than in taking our orders. You could tell they had not been particularly well-trained. No smile, no greeting, and they seemed a bit put off at having to end their conversation. Sigh. Once we placed our order, we helped ourselves to the salad bar before seating ourselves. Ho-hum, but at least the veggies were fresh and not wilted. Our first waiter eventually came along with our food, and there the fun really began. He was rude and obnoxious; someone got our order wrong, and his only response was«okay» before proceeding to ask whether we wanted anything else. «Why, yes,» I replied. «We’d like the rice we ordered.» His response? «I heard you. I was going to go get it.» From a simple«yes,» I was to deduce your intention was to correct the error? Silly me. Not surprisingly, he never came back with our rice. We ended up with a second waiter who was not stellar, but at least was willing to do the job. After wading our way through the poor service, we quickly discovered the food itself was equally poor. Absolutely tasteless and uninspired. Basically, they put a side of beef(not a particularly great cut either) on the fire and called it a meal. Salt? Pepper? Spices? Forget about it! Overall, dingy ambiance, poor, untrained and uncaring service, and bland food. That is a lethal combination. Find somewhere else to go. Anywhere but here.

So we were walking around town looking for a place to go when a local suggested here. I was amazed to walk in the restaurant and see a menu on the board. It’s like Sizzler’s. I was suddenly 8 years old all over again, tray and all. I got the filet, which I’m pretty sure Sizzler’s didn’t offer. It was $ 26, but it came with sides and the all you can eat salad and soup bar. To my amazement, my steak was really good. It was medium rare just like I like it where it’s a warm red all around. The salad bar was pretty lackluster, but it was good to nosh on while we were waiting for our food. The bread was pretty tasty too and our waitress did a good job. The guy at the counter was cute.

After a cancelled flight, receiving a distressed discounted rate at the Snow King, we found ourselves at Teton Steakhouse for lunch. Food, on par. Service, amazing. This place reminded me of a Sizzlers where you walk in, see a wall of menu, order, pay, walk past a salad bar and they bring you your order few minutes later. What’s not to like? It’s not a fancy joint that’s for sure!

This place reminded me of a smaller Sizzler. Has dinner. The food was slightly over cooked but i guess I was hoping it would be better than it was. If you’re a fan of Sizzler then this is the place for you.

Some local apparently told us this was a good place to eat. I’d say it was OK, maybe not the best. The inside is very decorated, but the menu is pretty straightforward and basic. The salad bar looked to be quite popular, but opted for some lunch items. People in our party got burgers and one person got a chicken dish. The food was pretty good, nothing crazy or special, but about what you’d expect the basic burger or chicken dish to be. The service was very friendly, though, so that is worth mentioning. The prices are pretty high, something typical of Jackson restaurants. In this case, I’d say the prices just aren’t worth it, and I’d skip this place and dine elsewhere.

This was a fine place to eat breakfast. The kids loved the buffet. It allowed them to choose their own dishes. There was even a table of fresh fruit. For a family of 4 it was a fair price and we were able to be relaxed. The motorcycle/road trip types seemed to frequent the place. Don’t expect GOURMET food. This is a quick/easy meal that is totally affordable for families.

Unfortunately this place missed the mark for me. Recommended by both locals and non-locals for their breakfast buffet we decided to give this place a try. The animal heads on the wall freaked me out. I am not vegetarian but to see the lifeless heads all around me when I am eating was just to much to handle. Beyond the animal heads I felt as though this place really needed a pick-me-up. Old wobbly tables, aged and cracking murals painted on the walls, and dusty blinds added to the let down. The breakfast buffet was anything but eclectic– no surprises here. It was your standard breakfast food: eggs, sausages, waffles. The taste was also pretty standard. The two standouts for me were the French toast sticks: crispy on the outside but light and buttery on the inside. If anyone can remember Shoney’s you know what I am talking about! The fruit bar was also delicious… fresh and juicy– which I don’t usually associate with fruit bars at most buffets(usually think slimy and mushy). I would recommend that if you can get past the whole animal head décor that you should give this place a shot. Don’t expect any dry-aged steaks here but I am sure that you can get a good meal at a decent price.

I ended up here because apparently everything else in Jackson Hole closes at 9, at least during the semi-«off» season. But it looked decent and served hot food and had waitresses, what more did I really need? In the end my dining experience was satisfactory but not exemplary. Ordered and then sat down at a comfy booth, waitress came by quickly with bread and my beer. I admit, I liked the price of the beer — this California girl usually has to shell out half-again more than what I paid here. Bread tasted like it had been microwaved, chewy and dry. The honey butter(butter-product, that is) was enough to convince me to eat most of it anyway. When my steak actually came out, I looked at it with more than a trifle of disappointment. It looked like something from Sizzler, right down to the little red flag peg stuck in it to tell me it was rare. Oh how amused I am to now know that this used to be a Sizzler. Thankfully, unlike Sizzler the meat was quite taste, despite being ugly. The one thing I found excellent here was the salad bar selection. Everything was fresh and there were a ton of choices. They were pretty diverse, too — I mean, there were at least four fresh fruit options, as well as pasta and potato salads, beets, the usual, and even REAL bacon pieces. I wish I could just order the salad bar, I would go back for it alone. Overall this is a tourist joint with a tourist vibe. But if you want reasonable food and tons of it, or happen to not get into town until everything else is closed, you will find a pleasant hot meal here.

What do u expect for $ 6 all u can eat buffet? Extra plates ready at table. This is not the best food you will find on earth — but it’s basic and you can eat as much as you want. Note: the plates were freezing when we were there so don’t load up and expect all your food to stay warm.

Sizzler in disguise, right down to the Malibu Chicken and all you can eat shrimp combo’s and skimpy salad bar. If you’re looking for the Sizzler exprience you’ll be happy. If you were expecting a real steak house, go next door to Burke’s, just bring an extra wallet to pay for it.

If you want a steak sandwich that you will remember try this place for lunch. They are made with 8 – 10 ounces of sirloin cooked how you want with sweet fried onions, tomato and lettuce all on a French roll. The sandwich costs $ 8 and comes with a side — I had the baked potato — the others were wild rice or fries. For the price it was a really great lunch. The inside of Teton Steakhouse is fun in a garish Wyoming tourist way — lots of animal heads, horse tackle, old guns, Wild West pictures and murals, and cute signs about eating beef(i.e. We proudly serve Vegetarians — all our cows are only fed the finest hay and grains.) They have several good bottled beers, standard wines, and a nice looking salad bar. The dinner prices seemed a little high, but lunch was inexpensive for what we got. It is a counter place so you order your meal and then it is brought out. BTW — their«crew chief» was a nice guy with Down’s syndrome — he was helping take orders behind the counter — it’s good to see a tourist oriented business that doesn’t shy away from being a bit progressive.

I happened to have driven through Jackson twice in one year on separate cross country trips, and both times stopped in at the Teton Steakhouse. The locals recommended the Teton Steakhouse to me, and it does have reasonably steaks, but what makes it great is the buffet bar full of wonderful bounties of the land. It’s definitely a family establishment; more down to earth than the upscale bistros that are popping up everywhere in Jackson Hole… it’s a little taste of Wyoming. Worth a visit.
