This place has the best Mexican food in Jackson. If it were in a bigger city, there would definitely be better. But for the quality, price, and authenticity within Western Wyoming I don’t think there is anything better. The tortas are huge and my favorite thing to get at lunch. When they have cabeza tacos on the menu, I also highly recommend that. They serve some of the best head I’ve ever had: p I hope they’ll be able to stay open despite the housing and income inequality within Teton County. It’s really sad to watch so many small, affordable restaurants and shops close because they can’t figure out how to maintain employees or rent.

This place was recommended by one of the locals. It’s supposed to be relatively inexpensive and a quick place to get a bite. I guess it’s pretty reasonably priced for a resort town, but the quality is just okay as the steak, beef and chicken were dry. The hot sauce is actually nice and fiery, but I don’t like that you essentially have to use it to get flavor(cover up taste) from the tacos. The tortillas weren’t very soft. I know I am in Jackson and perhaps not much more can be expected, but any $ 1 taco stand in LA is going to be more satisfying. Maybe just skip Mexican while in town and go for wild game.

I would give 5 stars but the food is so expensive. Let me say that everything is really really really delicious. I had the torta and it was so good, I wanted to marry the lady how made it.

Not so great food; poor service. Twenty minutes for two chicken tacos, some runny refried beans and some tasteless«Mexican» rice($ 12) is a little ridiculous. From the long explanation by the woman at the counter to the guy at the stove, it seemed as if the«chef» had never heard of this this type of order before. The chicken tacos were somewhat dry and only redeemed by copious amounts of Valentina salsa picante. However, there was no redemption for the bland rice and watery beans. Avoid Taqueria Sanchez; there has _got_to be better Mexican food in Jackson.

Great Mexican food find in Jackson! Growing up in Southern California I long for authentic flavors and this place delivers. It’s a small hole in the wall with a few seats inside and some outdoor seating. The food is made to order so you can call ahead to pick up. The nachos with carne asada had a great balance of flavor filled with smoky meat, medium spice chiles, beans, cheese, guacamole, and salsa. The shrimp tacos were filled with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and salsa. The salmon tacos comes with baked salmon, carrots, and zucchini.

Fresh ingredients, carefully prepared and willing to make modifications to stuff on the menu. Ask for green enchilada sauce on the chorizo burrito and kiss your hangover goodbye.

No wait, didn’t wait long for the food to come out, but the food was bland and not very tasty.

I am a big Mexican food fanatic. I look for hole in the wall places and this is one. I ordered a Rosemary pork Torta. It is truly awesome! I’ve had few Tortas that I can really say melted in my mouth but this one is. Packed with flavor. Pork, beans, onions, avocado, tomato jalapeños etc. it is so good. I’ll be in Jackson for three days and when I come back I’ll have a hard time not getting another because I want to try something else but I most likely will. Pretty scrumptious vittles!!!

The best burritos in Jackson. I am a carnitas lover, but try the shrimp and bacon with extra pico. Ask for all of the side salsas

Wanted something quick to eat around Jackson, WY. Came across this small hole in the wall restaurant in the main city. Food was delicious and affordable. Quick service which we needed so that we can catch a movie after. You can either eat inside which seats about 5 – 8 people or outside.

Great little find in Jackson. Fresh, yummy and reasonably priced. Homemade salsas were great. Seating is very limited and there is no beer on the menu but you can bring your own in.

Awesome food and a nice environment. Met some really awesome folks here and got to sit and chat for a while while drinking beer that we brought(byob rocks). Was a nice place to eat stopping on through Jackson.

Friendly service, but bland food(and bland Mexican food just doesn’t work). I was pretty disappointed with this place. I pulled into Jackson with my family, hungry from a morning of sightseeing. Based on the Unilocal reviews, I figured this would be a pretty good way to go. The service was super friendly and helpful, so everything seemed like it was going to go well. But then we got our food. I had the veggie burrito. For those carnivores out there, you may be thinking, «Well there’s your mistake!» But this was one of several items I tried. The veggie burrito was pretty bland and lacking in vegetables. I got a leaf or two of spinach right at the end of the burrito, but it was largely rice and refried beans. The positive thing was that the salsa roja was pretty darn tasty, and it was even somewhat spicy(kind of a surprising thing this far north), and I used a lot of it. I also tried the chicken burrito. The chicken should have been marinated longer(or at all) for some flavor. The burritos were pretty small considering the price – but then again, this IS Jackson, so I wasn’t all that surprised by the prices. The one thing I tried that was decent was the salmon enchiladas. The salmon had a strong enough flavor that the otherwise lacking spices weren’t missed so much. Oh, and the corn tortillas were decent, too. So this is definitely a case of unmet expectations. I appreciated the service, but I wouldn’t eat the food again.

By far the best Mexican food I’ve ever had! I got the bean and cheese burrito and had to stop myself from getting another one since I was so full. Highly recommend!

Very good Mexican food! Also the best prices you’ll find around Jackson for sure. Usually go there to get take out since it’s pretty small. Summer time is great to stay and eat on the deck though. Overall you should go here!

So I Unilocaled a close restaurant and this placed popped up 4 ½ stars. So I had to stop! Definitely lived up to its potential. I ordered the California burrito which I haven’t had since The last time I was in San Diego. Amazing! Very friendly place but not much room to sit and eat. I would recommend stoping in and ordering it to go. You can thank me later!

Great place! Authentic Mexican food.(We Californians know!) Ordered a tostada and a bowl of pozole. You won’t find pozole(pork and hominy stew) at Mexican restaurants that cater to gringos. Both were very tasty. No liquor served here but a sign says you can bring your own beer. Next time we will!
