One of the very first buildings you’ll probably pass when heading east out of Teton Pass on the way to Jackson Hole, Wyoming, is this red barn looking restaurant and bar. This is the when you make a u-turn(after you slow down enough to safely make a u-turn) and decide to fill-up your belly with some pretty yummy Mexican food. This place doesn’t look like much(some may be hesitant to venture in) but packs a flavorful food punch, plus nice people combo that will blow your socks off. You can tell this is a place all the locals go. Plus, if you went hiking earlier in the day, you will receive a satisfying meal at a reasonable price. I went for the Baja Tacos, with Mahi fish. The fish is fried but has a very moist and flaky inside. The toppings include a chipotle salsa, cilantro, a lime-cabbage slaw, wrapped in a soft-corn taco. This layers-of-flavor taco duo is very filling and you’ll really want to order more even when you are stuffed. If you don’t feel like spending a lot in Jackson, spend less in Wilson and be stuffed and satisfied!
