Awesome food, the chef is incredible. Farm to table, only the freshest ingredients and he plates each dish himself. Probably the best food experience in Jackson.

The Rose has an awesome vibe. Great cocktails and cool interiors. The bartenders and very capable and the menu is solid. Loved the décor. Very classy yet unpretentious. 1 star off for the bathrooms. They smelled pretty rank.

After an awful dinner at Local, we came to get a drink at the Rose hoping for a better experience. As soon as the waitress overheard the terrible dinner we just had, she brought us all complimentary drinks to make our night a little bit better. Then the manager came over and had been told the story by the waitress. He brought us a complimentary beef dish with bread and butter to try, which was delicious! The staff was so wonderful and went above and beyond to make sure we were having a good time. We wish we ate dinner here instead!

We just had drinks at the bar as the restaurant was closed that evening. What an amazing atmosphere. Bartender was exceptionally friendly. Craft cocktails were some of the best we’ve had and they were consistent in flavor. The only disappointment was that we couldn’t try the food… next time.

You would be remiss to go to Jackson and not visit Laura at the Rose. She is an exceptional bartender who didn’t seem at all annoyed by tourists, like so many service workers in a tourist town make the mistake of doing. Also love the ambiance of this place!

Bar Review — Come on «vinyl night.» Bring a record, get a free drink. Better yet, bring a bunch of records, sign up for a 25 min DJ slot, and be the entertainment. No Ziggy Azalea, please! Great atmosphere, very comfortable; not at all pretentious or touristy. I walked in alone and was easily included in conversations with the locals. And introduced to some cool music and fun cocktails.

100% satisfied. Honestly wish we’d come sooner on our trip. Had the Daily Old Fashioned(2 for 1 deal along with beer and wine at happy hour) and three more cocktails each just to try as many as we could. It took a little while to get our first drinks out because there were a handful of people that got there when we did and sat at the bar. About $ 10 each one(we’re used to paying about $ 14 – 20 for craft cocktails where we live), and each of them delicious. My sister-in-law is a bartender/craft cocktail guru so we’ve had some stellar drinks and these at The Rose were creative and expertly made. Very friendly and accommodating service, well-informed suggestions from the server. We stayed for food and the beef was cooked perfectly, very flavorful without a bunch of fancy bells and whistles to sell it; simply, a good dish, portioned well.

We stopped by here on a Friday night to watch the DJ, dance, and enjoy some drinks. Their beer selection is lacking and their drink menu is all specialty cocktails. Of course you can still order your typical bar beverages. I had what they call a blinker($ 8) and it was rye whiskey, lemon, raspberry and grapefruit. It was pretty good although it was very strong and small. I was hoping for a tall glass but it was a short glass that was less than half full. Still good and I would order it again. What I really recommend is trying something with their house made ginger ale. I had a Moscow mule($ 8) and although it didn’t come in a copper cup it was extremely unique. Definitely not your typical Moscow mule due to the strong and almost spicy ginger taste. You might hate it since it really is unique, but my hats off to a bar that goes the extra step. This place is interesting. When we first showed up it was still an upscale dining experience. We asked for a menu hoping to order some typical bar food appetizers and everything was fancy smancy chef inspired food. I would’ve loved to try something but it didn’t quite fit our evening plus the kitchen closes at 10PM and it was about 9:55 when we got there. After 10 this place turned into loud dance music, lights strobing, and people dancing. It was packed! So the reason for 4 stars is that our waitress was one of the worst I’ve ever had. It seems like they might have been short staffed but she kept taking the drink menus even though we asked to keep them so we could try different cocktails throughout the night. Then she offered to open us up a tab but she closed all the tabs out after one drink(what’s the point of opening up a tab?!) and then *drumrull please* she put all of the drinks on one persons tab later in the night. It was a mess. But she left and we got a much better waitress who was nice and helpful. I’d come back here again when I’m in Jackson next time. It was a fun night.

The Rose has a new chef, and the food is amazing. Very different from anything else in Jackson, with a focus on interesting and detailed presentation. Very classy atmosphere. Feels like you’re in a city. Great emphasis on locally sourced ingredients. I love how the menu is simple, which makes the ordering process very straightforward. I will definitely be back!

Blown away. The Rose is typically known as a classically inspired cocktail bar but just re-vamped their dining program which is out of this world. Incredible, local and fresh cuisine mixes flavors you never thought about that absolutely melt in your mouth. The best option if you’re ravenous is the 4 course tasting or sharing different dishes around the table. I opted for the pork belly to start, aged NY strip and buttermilk ice cream. The chef lead with housemade sour dough bread, butter and Yellowstone salt, beet gazpacho sorbet with basil oil and a confit potato with scallop and anchovy tapenade. This was before we even got our first dish. Pork belly was perfectly cooked and complimented by the garlic mashed potatoes, which are incredible by themselves. The steak was also out of this world. Seasoned, good portion with broccoli and purple potato. But the dessert was the best part — buttermilk ice cream(made in house) with mint oil, fresh strawberries and a chocolate chip. Best. dessert. Ever. The cocktails fit in seamlessly with the quality and creativity of the food, acting as a treat themselves. I advise The Brass Cannon, Sharkbait and Riverbush. Bottom line: Incredible food, amazing drinks. Do yourself a favor and try this place.

Wow, I just had a delicious meal here. We sat outside which was the perfect spot for people watching and a relaxing meal. The food was a treat and I really liked that all the ingredients were local. Will definitely come back here!

This place has the kind of old timey vibe that has to looking in the corner booths to see of Don Draper is lurking there brooding about his day. The cocktail menu is creative, vibrant and intriguing. Each cocktail is a work of art. We didn’t eat dinner here, but we did grab a dessert which was buttermilk ice cream, huckleberry compote, and honey. It was amazing.

I came to Jackson Hole for the first time to ski. In terms of bars around town, it’s what you would expect– mostly touristy stuff with mediocre drinks. Then a server at a restaurant recommended The Rose. It’s a little hard to find, as it is up a flight of stairs off the the street. You have to be looking. Walking inside, you are transported elsewhere. New York. San Francisco. LA. Sort of hushed, dark-ish, and romantic. Great music. The bartenders are cocktail wizards. Service is exceptional. Drink are absolutely top shelf craft cocktail stuff. I didn’t eat here, so I cannot guide you there, but if you’re looking to drink and are a person of a bit more discerning taste, you cannot do any better than The Rose.

Service for dinner is rough. We had a party of 10 and one single entrée came out 20 minutes before the rest of the food. We were given no silverware and and brissle sprouts were completely charred . This place needs to work some kinks out ‚ We came back the next night and the drinks. service and music were awesome. Overall this place is great for drinks and nightlife, but they need to get their act together for dinner.

I went with a large group to the Rose recently and had a great experience. We had the Old Fashioned of the day during the 2 for 1 happy hour and it was excellent. Having just been at Flat Iron Lounge in NY a few months ago. the vibe of the cocktail menu was similar and I could sense the influence of NY that they’ve tried to instill in their craft cocktails. The food menu is geared toward small plates for sharing and we ordered everything to try and ordered seconds for things that we really loved. The burger, pulled pork and brussel sprouts were all quite good and stood out. The décor inside is very cool and it is in old theatre building with the actual performance space upstairs above the restaurant… the entire vibe is modern old school and very comfortable. I’ll definitely be back.

Very cool lounge where you can have some craft cocktails and good conversation in an elegant setting. There are some very nice booths to accomodate your group and a good mix of music. Service was spot on and the prices were fair. On the night we were there it was fairly dead but still enjoyable due to the above mentioned attributes. Whether you’re looking for a pre or post dinner drink, stop by and you’ll probably find yourself enjoying this change-up from the typical Jackson bar.

So… I was completely surprised to find a bar in Jackson that played hiphop. Pleasantly surprised! The atmosphere is still pretty chill, full of good music and good people. Service at the bar was quick, but they didn’t seem very knowledgeable of drink recipes. It’s ok, it’s Wyoming lol. Bartender was a bit rude, however. If you’re ever in Jackson, definitely check this place out. You’ll have a good time!

First let me preface this review by saying that I travel for a living and have been to bars/restaurants in many cities in all different parts of the world. That being said, your establishment’s customer service and experience was easily one of my most disappointing. I am not sure if your staff that worked last night(14 May) feel that since they live in a small town of tourists they have the leeway to be as rude as they want, or perhaps that is just their general demeanor. Your establishment was not even crowded yet I had to FLAG someone down in order to get a drink. Afterwards I waited… and waited… and waited… I timed it by the way, fifteen minutes. What is ironic is that your male bartender and two female employees were condescending and horribly rude, they really didn’t have a right to be seeing as they are reading a bartender’s guide in order to make the drinks… on top of that there was a blatant disrespect for the patrons and their safety. No need to worry though, I took care of one of your patrons, who was a total stranger to me, and assisted her to her home with two male co-workers after she was treated not only like a second class citizen but also as though her safety was in no way your concern – why should it be, you already had her money, right ;) Now let’s talk about your male bartender, he says he is the manager and if that is true I now see why the rest of your staff leaves much to desire. After asking him if he could call a cab so that I could assist this woman who was obviously horribly intoxicated to it he told me, and I am not making this up, to go ahead downstairs and one would be there… we waited… and waited… and waited. Finally after I realized he was just a BLATANT liar I sent someone upstairs and he told them there were no cabs… disgusting. Your rude staff was one for the books, I’m rarely shocked but you all got me because I didn’t know such levels of disregard and arrogance existed, especially in a small town bar, so hats off to you all for your«amazing» customer service… ****edited to add: the owner was very quick to respond and try to make the situation right.
