Great large hearty breakfast! I had huge fluffy buttery pancakes dripping w/syrup, side of BACON, and two sunny side up eggs. Great big portions, great price, and it really hit the spot given the cold weather and all the activities we were doing making me HUNGRY. We were told by a local that this is the best place for breakfast and he was absolutely right. YUM!

We ate breakfast at this diner several times while we stayed in Jackson, and each time we had great meals. The owners are good people who are very helpful and vigilant in making sure that people are taken care of. I will go back here next time I’m up in Jackson.

Typical breakfast. I got the pancakes, and they were what I expected. Nothing special but definitely solid. We split the cinnamon roll because it looked amazing, but it really wasn’t. My husband got a biscuit and it was really good. I’d go back.

Went here for breakfast, pretty standard fair. Pancakes were huge and delicious, bacon was perfectly cooked, friendly staff and good prices.

Really how can you mess up eggs and pancakes, soggy and cold. Service was good but it didn’t make up for the food. Nothing special about the décor.

One of the most fun nights I’ve ever had was at The Virginian. I wish I could remember more of what happened but the band was so much fun. Best atmosphere, and best dance floors ever.

Delicious breakfast. French toast is excellent as are the hash browns. You can ask for soft scrambled eggs and they actually know how to do it. The toast too is hot and well toasted. A+

I recently had breakfast here — I was seated immediately, but I know on weekends, the wait can be up quite long for a table. The server was quick and very friendly, but the food was just average. I had an omelete, that was okay. The hash browns were okay. The toast was soggy with butter. All in all, the meal was just okay. I mean, it kept me from fighting hunger later in the day, but nothing really to write home about and I can’t imagine waiting forever on a weekend for that quality of food.

We chose this restaurant due to its great Unilocal reviews and cheap prices. We were not disappointed. We were told it would be about s 20 – 25 minute wait for breakfast and thought about leaving. Not being from the area, we didn’t know where else to go so decided to wait. I am so happy we did. This was one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. The biscuit was perfect and the gravy was delicious. Bacon was cooked to crisp but not burned. My daughter had a byo omelette that she couldn’t stop raving about. My nieces had chicken fried steak and said it was the best they’ve ever tasted. We had a large party and our waitress was fantastic. The only thing I’m sad about is that I don’t live close enough to eat here again.

Good food, good service! For the late starters they have a half menu for late breakfast til 2pm. The potatoes are these great thin slices of potatoes fried up crispy. Eggs are fluffy, bacon crispy, they butter your toast to the edges of the bread! Hubby had the huevos Ranchos and said it was great.

Food — 4 Service — 4 Value — 5 A great way to start a day with a meal here — be sure to get here before 8:30AM or you’ll have to wait. My wife ordered the Deuce(French Toast) and I got the Deuce(Hotcakes) and both were really good and came with 2 eggs and a choice of bacon or sausage(we got the bacon). They have us lots of nice crispy bacon!

The menu was simple and had just what we wanted. Easy breakfast for our family, we did have to wait 20 min for a table but it was worth it. This is a no frills diner.

Really fresh ingredients! All I got was ham and poached eggs, but it was delicious. My dad said his omelet was the best he’s had on our trip so far, and we’ve driven from NY to WY, so good job! I’m giving it 4⁄5 stars because I thought it was a tad expensive for what was on my plate.

Late Breakfast! They serve their egg dishes thru lunch. Breakfast is the best meal of the day, no matter when it’s serves. These guys do OK. Kinda quiet during the off season. This place is mobbed in the summer. That’s why I haven’t reviewed/checked-in in the past. Lot’s of wood paneling and western décor. Decent amount of menu choices. Hearty stick to your ribs fare. Friendly staff.

The wait on a busy day was around 20 – 30 minutes and the food was good. Portions were big and prices were very reasonable, I was only able to finish half of my meal. Lots of other people posted about the french toast being great… maybe they were just hungry because I found them to be okay.

Wasn’t very impressed. My steak, that I ordered medium, came out cold. When I sent it back, they recooked it & it came back well done. At least it wasn’t cold anymore… Everyone else in our party said their food was just ok. To have 4 stars on Unilocal,I expect more. Maybe we just came on an «off» day?
