What a cute idea at the airport!
Granted the views aren’t the best here versus just sitting inside and watching the planes go…
But! It’s nice to get some fresh air when you can.

The T5 Rooftop Lounge is attached to the JetBlue Terminal, directly across from Gate 28. It’s the only post-​security outdoor space accessible to regular customers.
There are two grassy knolls of faux grass where weary travelers sleep (and where traveling dogs relieve themselves).
I opted to sleep on one of the four long wooden benches, but the smell of jet fuel is pervasive and I gave up.
It’s a nice little space to get some «fresh» air. No smoking.
