Food is really good, atmosphere is awesome. Reggae band rocked. The conchy’s seafood feast was good, the fried shrimp was good. As Far as Places to Go around Jensen beach, this is it.

Haven’t been to this place forever. So happy to have returned. It made me realize how much I missed the food and atmosphere. I think it may be one of the best casual seafood restaurants on the treasure coast. The horseradish crusted grouper was out of this world. I highly recommend for anyone to try it. We also got conch fritters appetizer and buffalo fried shrimp, which was not on the menu but they custom made it for me:) The service was sort of laid back as well but still efficient and pleasant. We enjoyed feeding catfish out on the dock and watching seagulls and herons. It made the whole dining experience even more memorable and happy.

I arrived on Saturday at 7 pm and the woman at the front told me our table would be ready in 15 minutes. Flash forward to 745 pm and we were still waiting. We ended up placing our order at 815! I don’t mind waiting, but be honest and give me a real time! Food was ok. But I think I was just really hungry and a little pissed.

Delightful place, fabulous menu. We enjoyed our $ 60 lunch right up to dessert time. We had to pass on that because the staff totally ignored the 7 children who moved in behind us to feed the fish. They were literally standing at the back of my chair screaming. It continued for at least 15 minutes. It wasn’t their table. The grandmother and two mothers ignored the racket except for when they joined in. Sorry, we won’t be back. I’m sure the 3 guests near who also asked them to keep it down won’t either. Such a shame.

Excellent food, Crystal was our server. Great service, felt like I was home. Conchy Joe’s is a must visit if you are ever in Port St. Lucie, Jensen Beach, Stuart or there abouts. Thursday is Ladies’ night. Half price drinks…

I stopped going to Conchy Joe’s a couple of years ago after consistently being served very poor food, I can eat almost anything put in front of me but I was once served 2 different appetizers that were truly inedible. I’m afraid the wonderful location does not prevail over the terrible food. The location ONLY merits the 2 stars, as for the food? don’t bother

I love this place. Great Happy Hour from 3 – 6 and 9-Close. Great food — Great Service — Great View! Right on the water with an open deck seating area. Live band every day for the Happy Hour. If you are in the neighborhood its a must see. 6 stars if I could.

My husband and I had the special shrimp nachos — Spectacular. The shrimp were so fresh and the cheese sauce was very good. Structurally, not the best nachos ever but flavor was there. My husband got the bacon cheeseburger. Nothing special. The description of the burger with«the works» on the menu was probably better than the burger. But let’s be honest, there isn’t much exciting about a burger. I had a ceaser salad, can’t say it was anything special. The menu does have some exciting options but we had been traveling all day and were tired. Was very disappointed that it wasn’t that busy and we waited 30 minutes for a medium burger and a side ceaser though. Server was very nice and friendly. I recommend this place for the ambiance, and the drinks(Hemingway daiquiri is so yummy) but that’s about it.

This place is BUSY. We were seated right by the water — where some annoying kids proceeded to throw French fries and trash at the seagulls next to us. No one ever asked them to stop. I got the Hemingway to start — their take on a daiquiri. It was so strong — it just tasted strong. No real flavor — just a lot of alcohol. Maybe cheap alcohol? When I was looking over the drink menu I asked the waitress the price of the drink — she couldn’t tell me. When I asked if she could check she said«Oh it’s like $ 7»… We split an order of conch fritters that mostly tasted like burnt fryer oil. Their prices are outrageous. They claim that they charge so much because they only use fresh fish and«everyone else uses frozen». I’m not buying that. Fresh fish doesn’t justify $ 30-$ 40 platters. Our entrees came with a salad. It was your generic bagged salad. The fish was ok. It was a small portion and it was extremely tough — a lot like frozen Mahi… Bottom line — If you just HAVE to have some sea food by the bay then go ahead. But you will pay a hefty price and be underwhelmed.

I love Conchy Joe’s. I haven’t been here in almost 10 yrs, so I took my girls here last night. I was initially not impressed with the seating, nor the attitude of the hostess when I questioned her placement and she shrugged and said ‘well, we’re busy’ and walked off. However, our server, Alex, was great and on the ball. We ordered 5 apps, and a kids meal. The coconut shrimp were delish, and that dipping sauce was yummy! The conch fritters were a little overdone, the fried calamari was a little soggy. The steamed clams and snow crab legs were great! My youngest had a cheeseburger kids meal(she’s not too adventurous yet) but the burger was burnt around the edges. All in all, we did enjoy ourselves, although I was under the impression kids eat free, so was surprised at the charge for her meal. Also, when a staff member breaks glass, they may want to be more thorough when they clean it up– my oldest walked over and picked up a couple larger shards and threw them out.

Nice location on the water. Short wait for a table. Friendly server. While the Conch Fritters were delicious they were the only thing I enjoyed. I was very disappointed with my entrée selection, Grilled Steak Chimichurri. The steak was served cold, was unseasoned and tasteless and the plantains were overcooked. I felt that everything was overpriced also. I guess that’s the downside of eating in a tourist spot.

I attended their trivia night with my cousin and had a blast. I ate the fried alligator tidbits which were delicious. So to make a long story short the food was great, the beer was cold, and the people were awesome. If you go here they have a drink called the zombie I highly recommend it!

Good, not great is the bottom line. The location and general vibe is pleasant etc and its a nice place to visit. It is not however a top of mind place to return to. There are better food options and some really great seafood options in close proximity. For raw bar or drinks and casual dinner… fine. But the night we were there it was somewhat busy and the crew behind the bar while we grabbed a couple of drinks before sitting down can best be described as surly. Bar staff needs serious attitude adjustment.

I love Conchy Joe’s! I’ve been to Hutchinson Island twice this year and had dinner here at least 3 or 4 times. I love the atmosphere! The reggae music is outstanding and the views of the river are my favorite! I’m becoming more of a seafood person but still like to play it a little safe. I tried the Bimini Mahi last night and it’s definitely a good fish to play it safe with. It was broiled to perfection just as the description on the menu says, and tasted delicious! My fiancé had the coconut shrimp and loved it. I’ve also had the filet mignon here twice and it’s been perfection both times. All of the sides are great but I would recommend the beans and rice, they are delicious! For dessert you must try their key lime pie, one word: amazing! Save some of your bread basket to feed the fish in the river, even if you don’t have any kids with you it’s fun to watch! Conchy Joe’s, keep doing what you’re doing and we’ll keep coming back!

We have been coming to Jensen Beach for over 30 Years and our first dinner each and every time is at Conchy Joes. They have always been consistent with their quality of fish yet offer specials that are really updated and very good. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, it feels like home when ever we stop by. The wait staff is nice and most are very knowledgable about the menu. Stop by and by a Yshirt too!

Unilocal guided us here… ironically we happen to be fishing at the bridge looking at this place all morning wondering what it was… Very cute décor and wonderful Caribbean music playing throughout. Staff was very friendly and made great recommendations on the menu. Has the feel of being in Key West. After reading reviews about the conch chowder we had to try it. Only fault was we ordered 1 bowl to split. The flavor was amazing — light tomato base with generous pieces of conch and just the right amount of heat to make it enjoyable. My stunning gf ordered the coconut shrimp. It did not disappoint on taste — quantity was lacking. The mango dipping sauce complimented the coconut perfectly. Cut back on the pound of fries and add on at least 2 more shrimp for $ 19 would have gotten us closer to 5 stars. I ordered the Fritter Burger… I know sounds rediculous to order a burger at a seafood place, but the buns are Conch Fritters — now you understand! It looked amazing and the burger was cooked to perfection. The Caribbean mayo was really good too… but I have to say the fritter buns were a little disappointing. Good amount of small conch chucks but was kinda bland. Dipping into the sauce made it better. The best part of my meal was the plantains in mango sauce. Overall it was a pleasurable experience and we would come back again… for 2 bowl of conch chowder!

I’ve been hearing about Conchy Joe’s since Adam and I planned our trip to the Port St. Lucie area, so we had to stop by in order for me to have a taste of real and amazing conch chowder… and I must say, he was right! Conchy Joe’s conch chowder really hits the spot and I like that they bring out sherry and oyster crackers(I used to love these as a kid!) if you’d like to add them. It really was delicious, I almost licked the bowl… that good. We ordered a dozen of the raw oysters and I was taught how to dress the oysters which was fun. In my opinion, the raw oysters were delicious and Conchy Joe’s gave us everything we needed to dress them(crackers, hot sauce, cocktail sauce, horseradish, and lemons). The ambiance of Conchy Joe’s was what I expected, laid back and easy-going. Their menu cover is this cute hand drawing of an alligator and crab(maybe lobster?) which I thought was adorable. Also, they have both outdoor and indoor seating and since it was such a nice day we sat on the outdoor patio overlooking the water, such a nice view and a great way to enjoy the weather. With lots of seating, friendly staff and quality food, I would definitely recommend Conchy Joe’s to others and plan to return the next time I’m in the area!
