Pineapple Jacks Bistro

My husband had the Swims with Fishes — was impressive! Delicious and a generous portion! I had the stuffed chicken parmesan and it was fantastic! Restaurant has great atmosphere and our waitress was super helpful in going through the menu, she was knowledgeable about everything!

Excellent food, great atmosphere. Mahi Mahi, Scallops and Scallopini were all terrific. Wine list needs an upgrade.

The food here is great! I had the filet mignon — cooked just right and very tender, and with an amazing mushroom sauce which doubled my taste pleasure. My wife had parmesan-​crusted salmon, and she said it was wonderful. The julienne’d veggies were delicious as were the mashed potatoes we had with out main dish. Best dinner we’ve had in Florida since we got here a month ago. Highly recommended!

Not ready for prime time. I got the pork chop and mashed potatoes. Dry pork chop and lumpy mashed. Service was not good, evidently a server was a no show. No drink refills and not much attention to us. This was a slow Tuesday evening and the prices are quite high with mediocre food. Do not recommend.

Visiting from the west coast and took a drive to Port St Lucie with my friends. Nice atmosphere, very clean restaurant. They serve a variety of great food. Very relaxed, a nice vacation eatery.

Such a beautiful little place! Food cooked to perfection and service was wonderful. Can’t wait to try everything on the menu and drag my boyfriend in here. Great lunch spot with the girls too.

My wife and I ate there on Sunday night January 31, 2016, the atmosphere was great we sat on the patio where there was live music. The staff was friendly and under a great deal of stress as they were short staffed in the kitchen as some employees didn’t show for work. As we know when workers don’t show for work you forge on the best you can. When the meal arrived, it was well prepared and very good. We would strongly recommend that you give them a try and I don’t think you be disappointed. We will eat there again on our next trip into town

Will be back for drinks, that’s it. Food very bland. Turkey Club boring. Fish Ruben even worse. Up charge for everything. We don’t eat fries, so you have to pay extra for another side. Ran out of several items on the menu ??. Come on it’s 1pm on a Sunday. Service just ok. We really wanted to like/​love this place.

My fiancée and I went out for date night here and it was amazing! They have hand crafted cocktails and a great happy hour. We shared a caesar salad and the French Kiss Oysters for appetizers which both were fabulous! For our entrée’s I ordered the Bistro Pasta and he the Parmesan encrusted Mahi. Everything is made from scratch and both of our meals had amazing taste, presentation and very filling! Great little place, beautiful inside and in a neat area. We will definitely be back!

Great spot for Jensen Beach! Loved the décor, loved the beachy vibes the restaurant set off, and loved the very friendly and approachable staff. The restaurant looked clean, and well kept. We arrived for dinner on New Year’s day. Only about a handful of people were actually seated in the restaurant. Which is actually kind of sad, because this is a really great spot to check out, and to even bring the kids to. Our service was fast, and our server could have been just a couple of notches more cheerful for New Year’s, but at least the rest of the staff made up for his demeanor, and he was attentive. My boyfriend ordered the clam chowder and I had the maple glazed chicken with mixed vegitables and asparagus. The dish gets an A+ for creativity, and presentation. I wish the dish actually had more on it to eat! The maple glaze sauce was very flavorful and sweet. ALTHOUGH — the dish did taste like it was missing SOMETHING. Maybe the vegitables didn’t seem fresh to me? Or possibly the chicken wasn’t seasoned enough, but there was definitely a missed ingredient to really make it a 5 star dish. Prices are fare… but I’ve seen other restaurants fill your plate even more for the same price, which is a bit disappointing. OTHER THAN THAT — I will visit this restaurant again, and I do recommend it to anyway who’s in the Jensen area. This restaurant has a much more appealing and class atmosphere as opposed to the surrounding restaurants in the area.

Ok so really really want to like Pineapple Jacks, unfortunately sometimes things go wrong for 1 person out of 4. I was that 1. First off, the everyone enjoyed the appetizer round — I had the Clam Chowder and another person had the Crab Bisque, both were great. Lots of clams. The entrees were the beginning of the end for me. 1 person had the wrapped shrimp and the other two had the veal — they all loved their food. I had the Happy Pork — it was everything but happy. I cut into it and it was very rare. I sent it back for some more oven time, it came out better but several spots that were still too red for me. Anyway, I ate around the undone parts — so ok. We were all pretty full so i just ordered coffee and unfortunately the cream I opened was curdled so I just left it and we exited. Anyway, I’d go back but would order something other than the scary pork. Hopefully they will take better care of the creamers. Good luck.

Wonderful! We ate at Pineapple Jacks last night and definitely agree with other reviewers. My gal had the scallop dish which another reviewer well described. She loved it! I had a veal dish which was very tasty. I certainly can’t wait to return and try other wonderful sounding entrees on the menu. The atmosphere and service was good. The prices were fair for the quality and portion size. It was a lovely evening so we sat outside on the porch. A great addition to downtown Jensen.

The Porky Salmon which was a bacon encrusted salmon with Gorgonzola cream sauce was delicious and the French Kiss oysters… omg topped with bacon, spinach and mornay sauce and baked was fabulous. Can’t wait to go back to get more. Oh and the pineapple mojito was yum too! Great place… loved it

Great spot. Super friendly staff. The salmon was to die for. Everything we have tried has been amazing. Really cute ambiance. Definitely a good addition for Jensen Beach!

Fabulous! My mom and a few friends came here for my birthday on ⁹⁄₂₇ (yes, I know I’m wicked late with my review) BUT, this place is completely worth he visit! The décor is super beach chic and classy. The tables, floors, chandeliers, THE MERMAID mural! The menu is concise and clean. Not cluttered with loads of erroneous items. The seafood is fresh. The dishes are simple and not over complicated and have a huge impact of flavor. We started off with a round of pineapple mojitos in celebration of my birthday and a beautiful dish of crips calamari. The marinara and dipping sauce were delish. Just enough calamari for a few bites for 6 people. Out wonderful server brought out a wonderful basket of warm rolls. I had the scallops and fried rice with veggies which had this superb balsamic drizzle. It was an amazing dish to celebrate my birthday, definitely not cheap ($ 28?), but the quality of the scallops were worth it. The staff is also very nice and helpful. I asked the server what her favorite dish was and she recommended the scallops and boy, am I glad I got that. I can completely see why it is. Seeing that it was my birthday we just HAD to have dessert. So we had the tuxedo cake. Oh. Em. Gee. Hellllloooooo nurse. Delish. If I had room I would have had the slice tony self. Chocolate. Cheesecake. Chocolate. Oy. Save room for dessert!
Personally this is a special occasion restaurant or date night price range.
That being said I definitely recommend you stopping in and giving Pineapple Jacks a shot!

Just ate there with my family for my mother’s bday. Truly good food, I had the Happy Pig pork chop. It was perfectly cooked and filling the sides were good too. The salad came with a champagne honey mustard which was well above what I expected. My wife wanted a menu item from the appetizer section put over pasta for an entrée and they were happy to do it. My mother’s steak was perfectly cooked. The prosciutto wrapped shrimp were great as well. The service (Doug) was impeccable, he was timely, knowledgeable, and courteous. It was about as good a dining experience as I’ve had in this area in years. Go give them lots of business, they deserve it.

Stopped by for an early dinner. We had a large group at our table and the waitress did a phenomenal job! Our food was very good. I had the Parmesan mahi mahi and had great flavor. The shredded vegetables were done just right. This place may be our new dinner place.

The service is great and the food is too! This is our new favorite place. The feel is very coastal like Tommy Bahama. The food is fresh and so are the drinks. Hand squeezed juice for the perfect cocktail. Highly recommend.
