The food/price ratio is great. We went on Friday night and there was live music as well.(Good live music!) I recommend the New Orleans picnic if you can’t decide what you want to order. Staff was nice and did a good job dealing with a couple that was arguing at a near by table.

We stopped for cocktails, I ordered a key lime martini and my husband ordered the gorilla punch! Both drinks were delicious. The wait staff is very friendly! We wii be back for the food!

We had lunch here and it was great. We ate here over a year ago when visiting and hoped it hadn’t changed since it was really good then. It hasn’t, it was still as good as ever. Great seating outside, great server and the food is really tasty and good sized portions. We sat outside. At first the waitress was going to seat us way in the back, when I asked to be seated in the middle she gladly did. Service was quick and drinks and food was very good. If you want real New Orleans style food with a great atmosphere this is the place to go. We will come back every time we visit.

Good Food & nice atmosphere. The shrimp dish I had was really good. We went on a Sunday evening and caught a band called Alita & the Boyz they were really good too!

I have always liked this place. Service is always good, friendly bartender(s), and a regular crowd. I usually go alone and just eat at the bar, but have sat in the dining room, and outside on weekends when they have music. I think the food is outstanding. I usually get the blackened fish with Bourbon peaches on the side. The green beans are to die for. Just to change things up I’ll get the lunch specials to try something different. And the lunch specials are about $ 7, so it’s a deal. I’ve had blackened pork, Crawfish, and several other things. All good. Very nice place. Found it because I kept my boat near there when I moved here in 2008. Nothing but good things to say. I’ve met the owner, who is a very nice and interesting guy. So I highly recommend it. Very casual, parking in the area is generally easy to find.

Went here last night for appetizers and a drink. I had the mussels on their happy hour menu. They were amazing!!! The sauce is a very spicy red sauce(not marinara), with lots of garlic. They were probably the best mussels I have had!

I was very disappointed in not only the service but the food. The red beans and rice tasted like plastic and my crab cake was cold. When we asked for bread the waitress told us it is «request only» which was quite strange since all the other tables received it as soon as they sat down. It seemed like most of the waitstaff was on pills. They were all very loopy and weird. We felt like we were in a strange twilight zone. Very strange ambiance.

Great service, good live music but very expensive and 5 medium shrimp on a $ 14 Shrimp Caesar salad is a joke.

Great food! The jambalaya was fantastic and the crab cakes appetizer was surprisingly delicious. 4 stars because we sat outside and were enveloped in cigarette smoke from the table sitting less than a foot away. If I wanted to smoke a cigarette I’d smoke one. Even the band had to readjust the fan to get the smoke away.

This review is easy, Big Easy if you will. Outside of Louisiana and a few parts of Mississippi, you ain’t gonna find this kind of Cajun authenticity. I am not lying. The gumbo, poboys, the jambalaya, the étouffée, the shrimp, the hurricanes, the crawfish and even the music on Thursdays are all spot on. Then they do seasonal things like frog legs and alligator sausage. What more can you ask for? Maybe it’s not the best Cajun restaurant ever but seriously, if you are a home sick bayou native, I’m sure you find Crawdaddys is a more than suitable fix.

Mixed review — good happy hour, creepy old disgusting men hitting on you. Outside bar has that funky smell of… well… I’m not sure, but that smell that emits out of unclean ice wells, etc. but food is tasty. I feel like I have a love/hate relationship with this place. If they could do something about the old geezers, I think I might feel more comfortable there.

Might have been an off night but considering a Wednesday evening with very little activity you would think the service would be prompt. Received appetizers and soup fast then something went wrong and 35 minutes later and a visit from the owner the food came. Offered us 10.00 off on our next visit but still had a 85.00 bill for 2 people. Thought that was a bit high considering the service.

I picked up some take-out today around 1pm from here. After having been to New Orleans last November, I was craving some authentic items(but welcomed a fresh twist). I had the mahi-mahi blackened po boy — it was very good fish but the sandwich was not well put together and the bread got soggy quick. You had to eat the tomatos and lettuce separate. My husband got the jumbo shrimp po boy and he liked it but for $ 10 there should have been more than 5 medium sized shrimp. The highlight was my daughter’s kids meal. Adult sized with a kid’s meal price, it was a delicious grilled chicken breast she inhaled with chunky mashed potatoes and green beans. I did find it odd that they dumped lots of paprika on a kids meal; however, we just scraped it off. The red beans and rice side was off the hook. The pasta salad was ok — mediocre and hubby said too vinegary. All in all, it was ok but not good enough to warrant another trip next time we’re in the area.

Had lunch here today — split the crawfish appetizer, I had the oyster po’ boy and my dining companion had the jambalaya. The crawfish was excellent, the sauce was quite spicy, enough for me to break a good sweat. Advice: use the bib they provide, I did not and now my shirt is headed to the laundry basket :( The po’ boy was excellent: the oysters were crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful on the inside. Its the bun that makes this sandwich, and this one was nice and soft. It came with a huge portion of red beans and rice which I was not able to finish. The jambalaya portion was huge — my companion could only eat about half, and the rest came home in a box. Good thing this dish reheats well. I ordered an Abita beer, and apparently noon is part of happy hour as she brought me a second brew at no charge. We sat outside on the patio, very nice ambiance. Overall I give this place a thumbs-up for lunch. The service was prompt and friendly, and the place was not crowded. I hear it gets pretty jammed for dinner.

Having walked past this restaurant numerous Sunday mornings on our way to breakfast at Mulligans, we finally made it to Crawdaddy’s for Valentines dinner. What a treat! We were seated right in front of the band, but they were great, so it was all good. Lobster Bisque was creamy. Crawfish app was huge, and I wanted to take a bath in the sauce! The bacon wrapped scallops are to die for. Perfectly cooked as well as the side veg. The voodoo drink will sneak up on you, and by the time you dive into the divine banana bread pudding, you will be singing with the band!

Qualität des Essen ist sehr schlecht. Meine.
