A bit slow doesn’t even cut it. They suck. The chicken spot on Bergen Ave and Fairview or across the street from Hudson Catholic is a better choice. Management change is needed.

I have ordered from them b4 and the service was ok. Today I placed my order and waited patiently for my food. When they didn’t deliver my food I called the store. The guy that answer the phone was extremely rude, told me that they called my cell (which they didn’t, my cell was next to me) and I never answered so delivery guy left. Really?! So ringing my doorbell was not an option?! They refused to redeliver. I’m done. I’ll take my money elsewhere.

So, last night, I had a craving for chicken so I turned to trusty Cluck U. It was after 8:30. The chicken was absolutely horrible and the potatoe salad not much better. I ordered a 6 piece to share. All 3 of my pieces were EXTRA dry as if they had been sitting g under a heating lamp for hours on end. The boneless wings hid their dryness in sauce; not a good idea. The potatoe salad… ugh … no flavor over than mayonnaise on sliced wet boiled potatoes with a few diced red pepper pieces for color. Obsolete lyrics horrific. What happened??? Not sure if we will order again.

Mehhh. Food is overall average. Fairly quick delivery. Reasonable prices for what you’re getting. My only qualm with this place is that they’re too cheap with the sauce. On multiple occasions I have ordered the ‘Atomic Death’ flavor and there is barely anything on it. Also, the wings are never crispy. Too soft/​soggy.
This place is hit or miss. Convenient at 1AM on a Friday or Saturday.

Finally the rude lady stopped coming this establishment just got a whole lot bearable guess the owner decided that family members are destroying his business. Well finally he might make some money now hahaha

You should change your posted hours if you’re not open. It kind of blows to place an order at 1 AM and wait all night for a delivery that isn’t coming because you closed before the displayed 1:30 closing time. Real good first impression…

The wings are decent for the price, the drinks and desserts are a bit expensive as per usual with places like this. The fried mushrooms are awesome. A good one for when you want late night food, but not one that I frequent too often.

the food, and overall customer service. …sucks. the food & customer service hasn’t been good in 3+ years. the woman & man that takes the orders over the phone are disrespectful & insanely rude. cook your own food at home. not worth the stress or money.

I’ve ordered from this place prior to this one order I just recently placed today. The burgers are pretty alright, this time around though the burger came out messy & not naturally scrumptious. The fries tend to be somewhat soggy at times & today’s case really soggy. The Red Roman sandwich tasted pretty alright that being the only positive thing out of this review. I’m gonna cut them some type of slack, just cause its Superbowl Sunday. However I don’t think an hour long wait for delivery is acceptable being that my location is a 4 block radius. Nonetheless I should expect nothing less from an already rated 2 star establishment.

The only thing I have enjoyed here is the rice bowl with teriyaki chicken and the clucker bees. The buffalo chicken sandwich is a huge disappointment. Not tossed in sauce just a small amount of sauce dropped on top with 5X blue cheese. The chicken itself is dry and does not taste like a authentic chicken breast. Mac and cheese lacks flavor. Delivery can be slow and have had issues. Would order again but only when lacking other options and only the chicken bowl.

The chicken wings where alright… The Mac and cheese had no flavor and barely any cheese it was like pasta sprinkled with a bit of cheese, the mash potatoes tasted like cat food. Last time I will order from here!

If you are hungry do not order from this place. I made a small order with my co workers on GrubHub and the estimated delivery time was 3:10pm. My food did not arrive until 4:00pm, no apologetic call was made for the tardy delivery.
I get upstairs with the order to our struggling luke warm chicken, yes we had to nuke our food, that is how long it took anyway a whole meal was missing. Additionally we received none of the sodas from our value meals and only 3 blue cheese sauces with an order of 5 chicken meals.
So I call the establishment regarding the discrepancies. The lady on the phone did not apologize once for them messing up, instead she questioned me about the missing order. She clearly forgot her job role because she was attempting to relive her dreams of being a lawyer with all the questions she asked me. She then said she was going to call the driver because he may have forgotten the bag, 10 minutes later, no call back. I had to call back to follow up with their mistake and then she tried to short me on my order.
Basically while at work, your lunch order should not be the most annoying stressful part of your day. I have never ever written a review because most places have common sense and decency when they make a mistake, this Cluck U however could care less. NEVER, EVER ORDER FROM HERE. I wouldn’t even order from here for my mother-​in-​law.
I wish I read the series of horrible reviews this place has received prior to ordering.

Sometimes, you have an order where everything imaginable just goes wrong.
A few people from the office went in on an order through GrubHub. The order was placed at 2:20. The food didn’t arrive until after 4pm. Not that there is ever a good excuse for a nearly two hour delivery time, but this was particularly ridiculous: it was a Sunday afternoon and our office was a mere 2 ½ miles away.
The food arrived just south of lukewarm, missing sodas, a few sauces, and an entire ten piece meal. The restauarant was surly and sounded completely confused. The chicken was so-​so, with my order of Thermonuclear boneless wings soggy, gloppy, and oddly bitter (though actually pretty decently spiced).
This doesn’t seem to be an isolated thing, either: this franchise location needs a serious overhaul in customer service.

Good fried heaven of a place after a long night of heavy drinking at the bars on West Side! If you don’t agree, CLUCK U!
Fried chicken, mozzarella sticks, poppers and even salads… Yum, yum, yum!
My only critique would be that it is relatively expensive and a bit slow for what is essentially fast food!

If it was possible to give no star rating, I wouldn’t and it is only because it is Unilocal’s policy that I am doing so now.
This place is atrocious, ran horribly with disgusting food.
First off the establishment here is run by a husband, his wife and their kids who run around the store. I came in just to order a chicken gyro, I was the only customer in the store, I was told to wait 10 minutes, I waited near 20. When it was finally brought out, the food was disgusting. Barely seasoned chicken, white sauce that tasted like miracle whip tartar sauce on pita bread that wasn’t fresh and very grainy. I tried to eat it because I paid $ 5.35 for it but on my second bite I noticed a hair between the vegetables. I immediately brought it to the cashier’s attention who acted like she didnt see it until she finally did and then her husband came out. He was extremely rude to me, stating that there was no women in the back cooking and it must have came from a sweater and that I was making a big deal out of a small hair. So I asked him if he thought I was supposed to just continue eating it and he just simply shrugged and walked out the store. I threw away the gyro and walked out completely disappointed and angry and will not be returning. Extremely poor customer service along with bad food quality is a recipe for disaster.

Ordered from them a couple of times and figured it was just typical jersey city service… Nope just had a problem with the online site so figured I would call and order. They hung up on me the first time, didn’t answer my call when I called back and then when I finally got them on the phone the individual was the rudest person I have ever dealt with.
He was demeaning, condescending, and just flat out inappropriate as someone who should be thanking me for calling and trying to spend $ 30 at their below average chicken delivery company.
Never ordering from there again.

This place is Intolerable!
The people who run it, USELESS.

Here is a thought — why must we as customers give up certain sensibilities that we have grown accustomed to here in America, like good service, a smile, customer satisfaction, good products, in exchange for less sophisticated third world sensibilities?
I do not begrudge anyone owning a business in this country — but I would prefer not to be subjected to types of behavior that should never be experienced outside of a prison camp.
It’s as if there only interaction with the outside world went no further than their local Latrine.
The people here are incredibly i’ll-equipped to handle this business, they have the sophistication of dung beetles.
ps. I understand this is fast food.
However, does that also mean that I give up my right to good customer service because IT IS fast food.
It is still money, Correct?
Avoid this place like the plague.

Gross, Nasty, chicken taste like it was cooked a week a go then dipped in sauce and put in microwave before it was given to me. I don’t recommend this place at ALL! Try at your own risk!

Good LORD where to begin?!? I’m usually the nice guy, and give second chances, but hoooo boy let me tell you.
First order was delicious and great, we ordered at online at 6pm.
Second time order for my fiancé and I was online, and the food came. Sure. The fries were microwaved, as was the rest of the food. We called, not expecting them to run out some fries, just maybe credit for next time. Oh no, thermonuclear is right. Some Indian girl yelled at me on the phone to the point that she handed the phone off to her manager. Also an Indian. He yelled at me as well, great customer service flowing from his mouth.
So third time, thinking it was a fluke, maybe their Indian B team was on duty, but no. I ordered online. They charged my CC, no delivery. No call, no delivery, NOTHING. After an hour of no delivery, I tried to call them. I got the voice mail. Thanks for taking my money, Cluck U. I have something to say to you… it rhymes with Cluck U.
Never again. Am I able to give less than 1 star? Seriously?
