This place is such a hell-hole. My first day ever in Jersey City I was harassed by some cracked out homeless people who were apparently just hanging out in here and using the bathroom. To give you an idea of how unwarranted it was, I had my headphones in and didn’t talk to anyone. The workers didn’t say a word and didn’t bother to kick them out, they just stood there and let the guy babble on some incoherent bullshit about how he wanted me to step outside. It was the first time I had been to a McDonald’s in about two years. Initial reaction: «Oh yeahhhhh. THAT’S why I don’t go to McDonald’s anymore» This was about a year and a half ago. I haven’t been back since but I walk by it every day and see those worthless oxygen-stealers hanging out front all the time.

Seriously?(people are surprised by a clean restaurant these days?) McDonald’s is known for having a pretty tightly run ship– but reading some of the reviews here on this joint, you’re ‘better served’ getting a real hamburger a block or two away. PS Every once in a while, I do get that craving for the old school Big Mac… if only they would start building IN N OUT here on the east coast!

One can-not say when a McDonalds becomes the place to go to at first, But on Newark Ave right across from the old court House, there is a Mcdonalds that takes the cake, I have never been in one that was so Clean, So-Servicable, and most of All gives you fast food Just like you see on the TV ads, Your Order is done to Perfection, with juicy Hamburgers on the buns straight, Not hanging all over the bun, The Coffee is Hot and just the way you ask for it, and the fries and sandwiches are wrap neatly and are service not only with a smile… But with a Respect that so few Fast food chains forget should always come with the service, If you happen to be in this McDonalds when The Ferris High School kids come in You will get other surprise??? They are Respectfull, Quiet, and place there Order like Grown-ups a few times it may get Noisey, BUT! the service is still Fantastic and the place runs like a well oiled machine, Last But the most important, It is CLEAN!!! Clean from the front Door to the dinning Area Both of them and the noise level is always soft and enjoyable, I have been in many fast food places and I have yet to say I have one I like, BUT!!! This McDonalds On Newark Ave, Is One in a Million and indeed One of the Best in the State,

Here’s a sad fact: I go to this McDonalds a LOT. I thought I’d save money by moving to Jersey but found it to cost me more money. The biggest problem about Jersey: excluding some crusty-old-man bars and an over priced diner that feels«weird», there are no late night places! Except McDonalds… Here’s the thing — I work from home and I shoot from home so there are literally days that I go without leaving my apartment. I NEED to get out. But travelling 20+ minutes to Manhattan then walking from the train to whatever destination I can find kills way too much valuable time. So I go here to get work done. I order a small soda and I sit and read, work on projects or do whatever, and fill that cup up with diet coke until I am ready to go home. And I do it almost every night. The employees range from cool/decent human beings who are older, working here to raise cash while going to school, and are friendly to talk to. Then there are the rest you expect at a fast food joint. And some of the rest are GHETTO. It’s not surprising to hear a McEmployee shout«F* this you F*ing F*g! I’m f*cking pissed because I’ve been bleeding since I got my period! Leave me alone!» So I invested in a great pair of headphones I bought at TekServ. The other fun factor of this McD’s: they bring in the homeless who want to stay warm, the drunks who are exceptionally drunk, and then some random women who bring their 4 year olds in at 2:30 am for a nightcap. If you’re trying to get work done: it’s a distracting freak show(remember the headphones…) but if you want entertainment: it’s like watching Cops. The décor is interesting too. It’s very clean and has a cheap nice-café feel to it. They have a door to the bathrooms they keep locked so expect to hear someone yell«open the f*cking door! I have to take a sh*t!»(Headphones… remember the headphones!!!) I’m moving back to Manhattan soon and I look forward to saying«goodbye» to the one place that is open late! It feels good to finally be honest friends: yes, I go to McDonalds.
