There is NOBREAD today. I was there and they are open but have NONE made. Called the owner and he knew this. Say good bye to my business. ZEROSTARS since they did nothing.

The A1 deli got the unfounded reputation for good sandwiches but Subways is better. Wide variety of breads and fixings is why they are a successful franchise. There’re no mistakes at the register like A1.

The place is run by misers… the staff are rude and always talking over phone. The staff makes shitty sandwiches… they will tear the bread in any way they can find to put all the ingredients. I have been their customer for 5 years now and always have a bad experience… i live close by this Subway and its the only one in my my town :( Recently I went their to get my sandwich and one of their male staff were talking over and other female staff who was supposed to make our sandwich was more interested in directing her co-worker to what he should talk over phone(I am an Indian so I understand what they talk) she was directing the guy to ask other person over phone to raise their salary… while 3 customers were in line waiting for her to make their sandwich. First she tore the bread with hands, not using the knife… the bread had three openings. She put the ingredients like lettuce, tomatoes etc in very bad way… it was less quantity and still falling out… while rolling the sandwich with the wrap… all the ingredients came out and she put them back in. Not sure why but I still had the patience to see all this. Finally the male co-worker hung up the phone as their were more customers waiting. Later while paying the bill, I asked for 3 ketchup pouch but the staff said they will charge me extra for that… as they only serve 1 free ketchup. So finally I lost my patience and got into argument with them for being so cheap. I have been their customer for so long and I never had any good experience their… always left the place with anger in my mind.

Great location, prices are reasonable, good sandwiches and decent service. This Subway is what you expect. A-OK!

I moved out to Jersey City back in August and found that the location of this Subway is very convenient since it is right off the Grove PATH and on my way home. — That’s about the only positive thing I can say about this place. Where to begin? My orders do feel rushed(not always, but most of the time), majority of the time there is the same man(I believe he is the owner) and women working behind the counter. They always gossip to each other in Hindi, even when they’re taking customer’s orders. Jim: This has nothing to do with«liking immigrants»; you’ve clearly over looked the fact that it is rude and inconsiderate to have a side conversation while taking a customer’s order. They cannot put their personal conversation on pause for a few moments until I’ve paid for my meal? *Tip: I’m Indian and speak Hindi and I still find this incredibly rude. As far as coupons/rewards go: they will give you an issue every time! My first encounter happened about a month ago where I was redeeming my points for a free sandwich and the man behind the counter was giving me such a hassle when I tried to use my Subway Card, but in the end he finally accepted my points to pay for the sandwich. Fast forward to yesterday, 11÷25÷13 — I decided to try again and use my point to redeem a free sandwich. I told the owner/server to use the points on the card. After swiping it he asked me if I always purchased at this location since he saw I had a lot of points accumulated, ~300+. I told him most of the time, but I eat Subways a lot. He then went to inform me that I could no longer use my rewards card at this location because I never purchase from here. Excuse me? Since when was your rewards card limited to only one Subway Restaurant? I told him I’ve come randomly and do not have a set schedule and I’ve redeemed free sandwiches in Queens, Brooklyn and even Long Island without any issue, is this some new rule? He responded by telling me he works morning till night and never sees me and that this is the rule so you cannot use those points here. I knew he was lying, but I said okay, I’ll find out from the website. Can you take a guess what it says? I’ll make it easy for everyone by pasting it here: Where can I use SUBWAY® Cards in the Rewards Program? — SUBWAY® Rewards Cards are currently available in participating SUBWAY® restaurant locations in Florida, Ohio, Georgia, Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, Kentucky, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, Massachusetts and Vermont. In Canada, Rewards Cards are currently available in Ontario. Points will only be awarded on purchases made at SUBWAY® restaurants that participate in the Rewards Card Program. Ask your favorite SUBWAY® restaurant location if they are participating on your next visit. Rewards Cards will only be issued and accepted in participating SUBWAY® locations. Ah-Ha! So there is no indication that your rewards card is dedicated to one Subway, but we already knew that, didn’t we?(And yes, this location IS participating in the Rewards Card Program). How absurd would that be anyways? The point of a rewards program is to honor customers who’ve shown their loyalty to the FRANCHISE, NOT a single location. These penny-pinching owners need to think about their customers more than their pockets because without us, they have no business. There is no customer service here, which can clearly be seen from all the previous reviews. I will no longer be coming back here, but instead, take my money and try the new location on Montgomery; hopefully they value their customers more than this dreadful place.

Sitting in this subway right now. It’s freezing cold, even though the weather is cold outside, the tables are very dirty, and there were ants crawling around ONTHETABLES. The bag of chips was tasty, though.

I have no idea what you dummies are talking about. I eat here every other day. Maybe you went to the the JSQ Subway? This place is clean, the people are nice, and never felt«rushed». I agree, there are a few Indians that work here, that talk to each other in Hindi if there’s a problem, but give me a break… if you live in the Tristate area, and don’t like immigrants? I hear a state like Texas needs some farmers. Never had a food screwup(always delicious!), always honored my coupons and Subway card. 3 times a week. Nice people that work there. Oh and Andre, they usually don’t let homeless people or vagrants use the bathroom unless you’re a CUSTOMER. So either do your business in the PATH station like other vagrants do, or find the back of a dumpster. Stay out of a restaurant where they serve FOOD to people with MONEY.

Well I am not a big fan of subway but still once in a while I do go there to have bite of the footlongs. Well this is right by the grove st. path and that is the reason they do good business. So I have been here a couple of times, I don’t know what is it but 4 times out of 5 times the staff was behaving weird/rude which is very strange. So I them do they have italian bread they are like we are out of them in a very loud tone. Then I was waiting to decide then they are like what else do you want, dude give me atleast a couple of seconds to decide and there was not even a customet behind me, chill guys. Send these employees for some Soft skills training!

Terrible Subway! I came here with a subway coupon. First one of the staff looks at the coupon, put it down on the counter, and doesn’t say anything. She turns to the other staff and started talking in their language. Another customer walks in and she turns her attention to that customer. Ah hello! What happened to helping me?! The other staff member comes and looks at the coupon. He tells me he doesn’t understand the coupon. WHAT?! You don’t understand a coupon that says buy a 6-inch sub with chips and drink for $ 5. What’s there not to understand. After wasting 10 minutes of my time, I asked for my coupon back and left. Don’t waste your time here!

Don’t go here. I generally like Subway — it’s an easy, relatively healthy, inexpensive way to grab a quick meal. When I moved to the area, I was glad to see a Subway was so close to my apartment. Unfortunately, after a couple of bad experiences I will never go back here again. The staff is rude. Really rude. For example, I was alone in the store the other day. There was no line, no one was even there, and as I tried placing my order the employee kept yelling at me! I would say«6 inch wheat» and he would interrupt me and bark«WHATCHEESE.» I felt so rushed and honestly scared even though it was empty. Why was he yelling at me? Because of all his barking he didn’t even seem to hear me order because he left out my favorite parts of the sandwich! I ordered the honey mustard dressing as he yelled at me about cookies or chips. I didn’t want either but I ended up getting cookies because I felt so flustered — and they were stale and inedible. Really, really disgusting cookies. I will never go back to this location, no matter how convenient it is.

The staff here are usually pretty rude with a few exceptions. I continue to come here out of convenience, and that the end product of most Subway shops is the same. They are always rushing you down the line, dropping toppings on your sub before you even tell them what you want, or don’t want. I find that highly annoying. The shop is somewhat clean, but it isn’t winning any rewards.

I had to take Cipro from food poisoning I got at this Subway. I don’t know WHAT the other guy that reviewed this place is talking about. He obviously doesn’t look at the cleanliness behind the counter. I got food poisoning from this Subway that was so severe that I had to go on CIPRO when I was still crapping myself sick a full WEEK later. The service is very poor… they stand around talking to each other(not in English of course) laughing and ignoring customers. I’m convinced that I got sick because of contaminated mayonnaise because they are not clean. This is common among these similarly run businesses — they skimp and violate laws regarding how long food should sit before being thrown away in order to save money on supplies and make more profit. Not that it’s nearby, but the ONLY Subway that I was happy with in the NYC metro area is the one in ASTORIA Queens, by the 30th Ave N train stop. The guy that runs it is really nice, and listens to how you want the sandwich, it’s clean, and friendly. I believe the owner and operator is GREEK… and the Greeks believe in the art of customer service, and understand why the FDA has LAWS. It’s why I miss living in Astoria… I loved the Greek business owners there, and how friendly they were.

This has to be the cleanest place next to the PATH station. I always enjoy smelling the bread when I come up from the train. They have seating inside and are usually friendly.
