The place is okay. My only concern is they don’t wear gloves preparing the food. If your planning on going just avoid the meatball sub.

Best late night place in Jersey City. The cheese steak always hits the spot after a night of festivities. Also the fries are always made perfectly. The best part is you can’t beat the prices. You get a full meal plus a drink for $ 7. If it’s past midnight and you hate McDonalds like I do, Vegas is the place to go

I got the chicken sandwich and it tasted horrible. The patty was thin and full of veins ew

This place sucks. One guy waiting on 2 customers and I waited for 20 minutes for 2 sandwiches. Rude service to boot. Food was mediocre and some of the salads in the display case looked inedible. Service is faster and friendlier in the mornings when the owner’s there, but I won’t be back.

I’m writing this review as I’m standing in Vegas Grill. The wait is long, the food is mediocre at best and we’re downtown. It’s been 20 minutes and I’m still waiting on a gyro. I’m trying my best not to make this review sound bitter. It’s not looking too good. If you’re drunk and hungry, with good company, then Vegas Grill will hit the spot. If not, plan accordingly.

Absolutely awful!!! I had the half chicken and rice, had 3 – 4 bites, and in the trash it went.

Can I give NO star? How DARE they put themselves up for delivery when they won’t? should strike these useless turds from the face of the Earth, as should most everyone in Jersey City. You’re open 24 hours? So what? You’re rude, your food is garbage, and you should be closed. I’ll turn around, and go to the A1 joint(that’s also open 24 hours) that can make a decent sub, oh and not pretend to deliver. Don’t use these guys for delivery, you WON“T get your money back. may be more forgivingtha

Take my advice and stay away from this establishment. My coworkers ordered lunch today, a simple order of burgers and fries. Much to all of our dissapointments the burgers were Bland tiny hockey puck shaped paper thin and burned beyond any accepatable degree. The over sized rolls enveloped the burger completely overlapping it on all sides by inches. Pretty much creating a bread sandwich with a taste of old burned meat in the center. The fries were old oiled, lubricated, stale tasteless creations resembling(in form only) the frozen ORE-IDA fries at the grocery store. Yet compared in taste to the bag they are shipped in not the actual fries. I can only advise you from the bottom of my now churning stomach find another place to eat. This is not worth what i can only imagine will be a very unpleasant afternoon in the restroom.

The food is horrible, STAYAWAY… I ordered a Sandwich which was OK but when i started to eat the macaroni pasta they used was spiral pasta which was OK but it wasn’t cooked properly it was still hard and hard to chew, i couldn’t eat it, so i also ordered a piece of cheese cake and the cheese cake taste like it was sitting in the fridge for months very bad freezer burn taste, didn’t bother calling them cause its not worth it arguing about i will just not order from there again and also let resident know to stay away. FYI I’m a Concierge so when it comes to good food, I know good food i make it my business to know especially if a resident ask me wheres a good place to order from or eat…

Fooooooooodddd… In my zombie-like state, food was all I craved(of the fried variety that is. I reserve flesh for my sashimi/sushi). Ordered the fried calamari combo. I saw him take a giant, frozen block of calamari. Because of the state I was in, I salivated. As he fried it, I salivated some more. When I saw the finish product served with a side of soggy(my favorite!) french fries, I couldn’t hold my saliva in much longer. I was lost in the heavenly dicotomy that was crunchy and soggy. I ate, and like a responsible zombie, I had a DD. Last words: Be a good, drunken zombie. And eat A-OK fried food for cheap.

Nice spot for a quick breakfast platter(eggs etc.) if you are in the area for work etc. Not the fastest out there but got a good selection of ingredients from meats to veggies. They’re also open late and conveniently close to the Grove St PATH if you need that late night sandwich/a cure for the munches. I’d hit up A Plus deli on Grove St for a better sandwich though, but here for grill items.

Wasnt expecting much, for the price the quality was awful. Cashier was very nice but not easy to understand. While I was there at 3am(no regrets) some people were yelling at him pretty aggressively for no reason. Oh, the downside of peddling plastic meats to drunk people!

My usual morning breakfast sandwich place at Newark and grove seems to have closed and I didn’t want McTastyDeath or dunkin sadness so a quick scan took me here. It was tasty. I hope they don’t close too. I also got a piece of baklava for lunch but just ate it and it was very good.

Horrible service. The place is just bad. Smells like burning. You will wait 20 min for a simple sandwich. I asked for mustard, and he said they didn’t have it. A DELIDIDN’T HAVEMUSTARD. Nuff said.

This is the first time I’M ordering from here, but my boyfriend has order from here once before and said that it was an OK place. So I decided to give it a try. We order a reason amount of food and was really hungry. We placed our order and waited. They said it would take about 45 minutes and for the amount of food we placed, that seemed good. The food took about an 1 and 45(probably more) minutes to get my food. They said it was because of rush hour, but if that’s the case then hire more people to deliver. Then the guy says he doesn’t know we are located, and we had to spell our street name 3 times because he didn’t understand what we were saying. Don’t order delivery from this place because they will take forever to get to you.

Horrible service don’t go! I decided to try this place on a late night run for munchies. I asked the man for a BLT on a ROLL and a roast beef sandwich. It took them over 20mins to make these simple meals. Two guys were working on one sandwich. When I asked for a BLT one guy whispered to the other as if he didn’t know what a BLT was. I turned my back for a minute and next thing I notice he’s putting the BLT in a wrap. I stopped him and told him that I asked for it on a roll. He remade the sandwich and when he was ringing it up he told me that he’s a 100% sure I said wrap. The man was trying to tell me what I said! I argued with him over it and promised I will never be back. The food was ok and not worth the crappy service. This place won’t be around for long don’t go.

Not sure about the rest of the late-night options… as I’m not too much of a night owl anymore…;) But one of the few salad bars in the Grove St area! :)

I can’t believe I actually remember this late night trip. I don’t even want to admit the story of me falling into a rack of peanuts and completely knocking it down, I swear it was my shoes. Anyway, what I do remember is this place had a GINORMOUS menu and is open 24⁄7. Chaching. I also remember the gyro I ordered took forever(or that could have been the shame and embarrassment I was feeling lasting an eternity), it lacked authenticity and the amazing flavors that a gyro should possess and it was beyond messy since the pita wasn’t doing it’s job; probably because it was a wee bit stale. The gyro was more cheesesteak like and less gyro like(minus the cheese). With that, I need to try some more food(i.e. sandwiches, burgers, fries) from this place at 2AM to update this review. I just don’t know if I can show my face in there and not die of the horror show that was I. *** The owner/guy at the front was BEYOND sweet and nice. If you/he is reading this, thank you.

I wasn’t quite sure what to decipher from the name of the place… hmmm Vegas Grill… I still don’t really get it. Anyways, the place is a smörgåsbord of random basic culinary cuisines such as gyros, pizza, burgers, wings, chicken, etc. They also have some basic food items for sale and a deli counter ;) I opted for the gyro which I assumed you couldn’t mess up until they proceeded to wrap it like a burrito and cut it in half. It might just be me but that is an odd way to serve a gyro. I’ll give you 3 starts for effort and potential since your open 24 hours.
