Culver’s

I like Culver’s. Food is always good and service is as well. I get pints of their frozen custard to go because I like it so much more than ordinary ice cream.

One of the all-​around best classic-​style fast food joints in America, this location in particular is excellent. I went last week during late lunch, using a coupon from ValPak and ordered the Culver’s Deluxe value basket. Service was great – usually high school kids, but they are friendly and professional. The older gentleman who runs this location is always present, smiling and starting conversations. You can tell he takes pride his restaurant.
The speed of the food was quick, and the burger tasted great (as usual). This location is fairly consistent in its quality. Interior was clean and inviting and takes you back a couple of decades – in a good way. I’ve noticed some other reviewers have criticized this particular restaurant for its location, which isn’t fair to its employees. I agree that maybe the roads could be better organized, but everything within this Culver’s team’s control is well above average. If you’re looking for good food and good service at mid-​to-​high end fast food pricing, this is the place to go.

Got chicken fingers that were still frozen in the middle while going through drive thru & had to go back. The only thing they did was replace the chicken fingers with fully cooked ones while the rest of our meal got cold. Gross!

Good stuff, overpriced for what you get and über greasy, but hey, it’s close to work. The desserts are great.

My husband and I came here for the fish dinner and we went through the drive-​thru, after ordering and paying they told us to park up front to wait for our food. After 20 – 25 minutes later we still hadn’t received our food so I went inside to see what was going on and when I got inside I was surprised to see that it was pretty dead. Turns out the older man who is a manager gave our meals to someone else and they completely forgot we were even out there! He refunded us our money and said they’d bring our food out right away, after waiting another 20 minutes I go back inside and I see our food just sitting up under the heater and no one doing anything. So another worker there seen i was pretty irritated at this point and gave me my food and apologized and had me right down my name so we could get 2 free meals the next time we go there. Well a couple weeks later I called to make sure they had my name down still and the older man answered the phone and told me they didn’t have my name still and that because he refunded me for the meals the first time that’s all he could do. They are absolutely unprofessional and I will never give them my business again!

I was in mood for late night frozen custard dish so I checked and It says they closes at 11pm here on Unilocal.However I got here at 10:35pm at drive through and they are closed. No ones there. What’s up with that?

I ordered the culvers deluxe and was expecting something that even half looked like the one on the menu board. What I got was a limp lifeless lump of a hamburger patty that looked like an elephant stepped on it. It was OK tasting but nothing special. For my first visit to this place unfortunately it was bad.

I’m reviewing our first time in to this restaurant chain, and we were both really impressed. After reading some of the reviews I didn’t have high hopes, but we were quite far from our usual restaurants and wanted something new but casual.
My strawberry pecan salad was high quality and absolutely perfect, with clearly labeled healthy salad dressing options. The cheese curds were oh so good and so were the malts and concretes. My husband said his burger was pretty good but not the best. Since there are so many menu options, I still recommend this place for fast food.

Swiss melt and fries, good meal as usual for Culvers. A big slow at first with taking orders, but they did open extra registers good for quick food.

Let me say that I am one of Culver’s biggest fans. Butterburgers, fried cheese curds, and custard… how could I not be? It’s one of the best fast food chains out there today.
Normally I would give 4 – 5 stars for other Culver’s I’ve been to (fast food stars that is). But it’s 3-​stars for this location. My cheese curds were still delicious, as was their house root beer. And the service was solid as always. But the location of this place is terrible. Access is hard to figure out, and then you have to remember how to get out. My Wisconsin Patty Melt was also a bit dry and overcooked, though still decent.
Should I be heading up or down I-​25 I’ll probably try a different location. But if you’re heading down US 34, it’s still worth the stop… especially for ice cream.

The food is okay for a burger joint. The wait is long and the food is greesy and over priced. It doesn’t taste that appitizing if the food get cold or as left overs — so eat up fast.

Butter burgers, great onion rings and cheese curds + frozen custard. Kicks butt on Goodtimes.
May be a chain, but it is head and shoulders above the others.

I am a fan of this place mainly for the custard that no one else can beat. We ate here last night and had Butterburgers which were some of the griesiest I think I have ever had. Not sure what the nutrition facts are on them but has to be bad. They come in a small container and on mine the bottom was just dripping in grease. The fries were pretty average for a fast food place. Because I was too full I didn’t have any room for custard which is kind of the only reason I come here ugh! Don’t know if I will ever have another Butterburger after this experience that was very disappointing.

This is one of our family favorites. Great food and service.
This is a very well run location. Well trained people, fast and tasty food and its clean.
The chicken fingers are a personal recommendation as are the turtle sundaes.

I tried this with my family when it first opened… all excited because we heard how good it was. Well, it was super pricey for what you get and it was not good. I mean, really not good. Good Times burgers are much better (and so is the custard). I don’t get what the hype is about. It’s an overpriced burger joint. Want good kid friendly food that’s well priced, go up the road to Chick Fil A.
