Marco’s Pizza

So I had this pizza at someone’s house and I liked it. I thought it was pretty good and told my husband we should get it. Pizza is my favorite food! Put the order in at 6:30 said the delivery wait was 70 minutes. Ok, no biggie we weren’t that hungry yet. 7:20 the pizza gets here! Yay! Earlier then expected! Go to sit down and eat and it’s the wrong pizza :(Someone else’s pizza. We called around 7:30 to tell them and they apologized and said they would send a new one. 8:00 no pizza. My husband calls … They said yes, we made you a new one it should be there soon. 8:20 still no pizza so I take over and call. The man on the phone says I’m so sorry but we have your order wrong AGAIN. We will re-​make it AGAIN and have it to you in 35 – 40 minutes. So I sit here at 8:50, 2 hours and 20 minutes after I placed our order waiting for our pizza to get here. Guess we will be having a midnight snack! Lol. I did ask what he was going to do for us and they were sending us with a free cheesy bread and gave us a credit on our account but seeing it’s our first time getting it I still think this pizza should be free of charge along with the credit on our account. Its 9:00 just got our pizza and we really like it. They were very apologetic so we will try one more time to see. I just can’t rate it more then 2 stars because of our experience! Better luck next time, I hope.

Just ordered pizza from here. The coupon deals are great! The pizza was on time and hot. Everyone from the person who took our order to the person who delivered it was super nice. Would definitely go again. And as for the two reviews saying their pizza is bland. I disagree. The pizza was quite flavorful but not over powering!

I thought the white cheesy pizza was pretty good. Better than dominos and little Caesars but jets 8 corner pizza is much better so I recommend that first. Either way I’ll probably order again. I really did like the crust thickness and texture too. Update — bad news, we got horribly sick after eating the pizza so never again!

This past Friday my fiancé wanted to get pizza from here so I picked it up after work. When I called the order in, the girl on the phone was very off putting. She asked if I wanted to donate $ 5 to the charity they were collecting for. I said not today, thanks. The girl then said «Oookay» like in a very judgmental way. My order was $ 10.76 so she then asked if I wanted to round up the change and donate that to the charity. I said that was fine and the girl said «Ok, so you’ll do that then», again in a very judgmental way. Whatever. I go in there to pick it up and every employee (at least 6 – 7) was standing behind the counter and yelled «WELCOME TO MARCO’S» as soon as I walked in. I think it is meant to be hospitable but it was actually really annoying and awkward.
As for the food itself, we had the free coupon for cheezy bread which was pretty good. I personally did not like the pizza. It lacked flavor and the crust was really chewy.
I don’t think this will be my first choice for pizza anytime soon.

I decided to give the pizza a second chance.
I ordered from the Plainfield location prior to this one opening and got pretty sick. But a few months have passed and it was late and I was hungry…
I digress. I ordered the small 10 inch pizza just for myself. Extra sauce and Sausage with a garlic parmesan crust are the toppings and crust I chose.
The pizza was fine. The crust was delicious. Sausage and sauce just okay.
Nothing special here though folks. Like I claimed before if you like any chain, Pizza Hut, Dominos, Little Caesars, Jets, Papa Johns… you will like this just fine.
Two stars because it is just that, just an empty tasteless pizza. Something to enjoy on a Friday night when you are all alone watching Netflix on the couch.
