This location was within steps of the hotel we were staying on a recent trip so naturally, it managed to work it’s way into our breakfast time one morning. I already knew we were going to enjoy the food, but the service wasn’t exactly the best I’ve ever had. We had a fairly late breakfast — 11:30AM or so, and found that the location wasn’t packed. While we were seated within moments of arriving, it took about 5 minutes to get a server over. After another 5 – 10 minutes, she came back and took our order. About 20 minutes later the food came out as requested, and it was just great. I’m not sure if the lady was new or was just having a bad day or just didn’t want to be there, but we have had better service at other locations in the past. The people at the counter and elsewhere were pretty upbeat and more engaged throughout so I don’t think I’d have a problem going back, I’d just hope to get someone else for my table.

Horrible experience!!! Waited for over 45 minutes for breakfast. Then it is delivered to the table minus important items, like the biscuits and gravy! 10 minutes already have passed and still nothing. We were told that the biscuits were in the oven. Don’t believe our waiter had the benefit of being trained. Nice enough fellow, just didn’t know what he was doing. The absolute worse Bob Evans I have ever been in. I went to the counter and was told that the biscuits were almost ready, they just misjudged the timing. I was never offered an opportunity to change my request to something else. Worst meal I have had the misfortune to deal with. Manager’s name is Troy Cherry. Shame on Bob Evans for running such a awful restaurant.

The food was good as would be expected with any Bob Evans restaurant. HOWEVER, we were finishing up our breakfast when my daughter noticed a spot of mold in my sons french toast. I was shocked. we frequent Bob Evans often back home and never had a problem. we notified the manager and they took care of the bill. more than satisfactory on the problem resolution.

Stopped in on a whim, always try new places when we travel. Fantastic swrvice, warm and friendly and on the ball… our server Carissa was great. Made a fantastic recommendation to me for the pot roast dinner, was so tasty and flavorful! DH ordered the meatloaf meal, and said everything was good but not great. Meatloaf was not super flavored. But he loved the banana bread(made right there) so much we brought a loaf back to the hotel. Would definitely try again.

When I want old fashioned fried chicken or turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, and corn and I don’t want to cook it, I think Bob Evans. I grew up eating here almost every weekend with my family and this place always brings back good memories.

This place is extremely clean. Service was friendly and attentive. We ordered the Rise & Shine breakfast. Eggs, bacon and hash browns were perfectly cooked to order. By the way, they have great applewood smoked bacon. Instead of toast, order the banana bread and ask to have it grilled. Mmmmm.

I have only had the pleasure of dining with Bob Evans once, but that is all it took to hook me. I was over the top happy with the yummy hotcakes. 4 yummy hotcakes for about $ 5? Yes please. This restaurant reminded me of southern charm and hospitality. There were 4 of us in our party. We were seated immediately and had fantastic, personable service through our entire meal.(Even when we just kinda sat there dreading our 3 our drive back to OKC, we were checked on) My sister had their Sunrise breakafst(something like that at least) and said everything was cooked perfectly. My mom ordered blueberrie pancakes, with extra blueberries. Her pancakes looked amazing and with the 1 bite she allowed me «to taste», I wished for more. My son ordered a cheeseburger and practically inhaled it, saying«This is the best burger» Let’s not forget unlimited hot chocolate, and bottomless coffee, all delicious! Our total was less that $ 40 with a generous tip. Wish there was a Bob Evans in OKC…

My first time(that I remember) eating at a Bob Evans. We stopped in after a 10 hour drive during a road trip from Milwaukee, WI to San Antonio, TX. We stayed at the Days Inn across the street and figured Bob Evans was a good choice for something quick to eat before crashing for the night. I got breakfast(eggs, sausage and potatoes). Nothing too difficult… and the food was what I expected. My only complaint was that our server was pretty crabby. I tried to hold a conversation with her, tell a joke… but, Nothing. She just stood there and stared at me. She did her job I suppose, took our order, brought us our food, refilled our drinks, but that was about it. Not very welcoming to some travelers passing through her town. I guess we just weren’t South enough to get the Southern hospitality.

Love their many breakfast options. Kid friendly, and great prices for big portions. Biscuit bowls are a favorite.

Normally, with chain restaurants, like Bob Evans, one can expect the kind of experience they will have when they go. I have gone to other Bob Evans in other cities and have had a great experience, and liked the overall food, atmosphere, and service. For some reason, the Joplin one missed the mark. On food, it was good… it was Bob Evans… and I could see and hear the cooks work and they did a fine job(had blueberry crepes, eggs, hash browns, sausage links, biscuit and gravy). Atmosphere — why they chose this design and layout for this facility, I am not sure. When one walks in you are staring at the server window. I was seated at the counter, and it was not clean. Which moves us to service. Sitting at the counter one would think they would be noticed. It was probably a good 5 minutes before anyone asked me if I would like coffee and also clean the counter in front of me. Once my order was in, I was fascinated by the front of house. If this was an independent restaurant, and they were not banking on the Bob Evans name, I am not sure this place would survive. Wait staff not working well with cashier/host, wait staff turning their back in front of me to have a discussion about work hours with manager, wait staff looking at a customer’s order and commenting on the quality of gravy being served(«If I was them I would send it back») but still serving it, and finally waiting for anyone to notice me and ask me if I desired anything else before receiving the check. For a Saturday morning in a area that is teaming with hotels and motels, the wait staff should have been more planned and they should have not collectively looked like a bunch of deer in headlights, stressed and anxious, and allowing orders to pile up in the window.

I’m a huge Bob Evans fan. Excellent breakfasts and filling dinners. So when there’s a BE and it’s meal time, it’s by «go to» place. Last night was no different. Driving along the Interstate at 8:30, it was an easy choice. Right on the money, the experience was just like every other of these restaurants I’ve been to. My wife went with the fruit topped crepes, adding a sliced banana instead of the blueberry goop with a bowl of sausage gravy on the sides with a biscuit I went with the turkey dinner. A ton of stuffing on the plate with a good serving of cranberry sauce, carrots and a gravy«lake» in the mashed potatoes. Friendly service and a comfortable table. Free wi-fi! The only let down was the coffee was just awful. Maybe it was because it was the end of the day, but it tasted like what we call«coffee-flavored water.»

Typical Bob Evans Restaurant with good American style meals and sometimes good, quick service. Very popular with the drive-by crowd, so service and wait times increase around meal times. Off times are usually a quicker in/out.

Really surprised there are no reviews for this place. It is a very nice breakfast place. Good food, good selection and nice staff.
