So far, we walked in was greeted & sat immediately. There were other families that sat after us but was seated with another server Jaimie & water placed on their table by an other employee & we still waiting for our water. Our server came by once & said«I’ll be right with you.» So at 7:13 we sat at 7:18 the sever came to take our order, 7:21 brought our sodas & I asked for water when we ordered, still no water on our table! It’s 7:27pm & still no water. Our server just gave the wrong order to the wrong table, YIKES, does she really know her job? It’s 7:30 still no water! 7:33 the water has arrived!!! 7:34 Lola’s food arrived looks good & must be cause she’s scarfing it down or she’s hungry. Pancakes arrived @ 7:37 still waiting on my steak omelette. It’s has arrived @ 7:38 let’s see how it tastes. Food is on point, good flavor & plenty pieces of steak! I don’t know what my servers name is cause she’s not wearing a name tag. Oh well, overall the food was good, can work on the service aspect, she might be new, IDK?

Maui’s sole IHOP is located in the Maui Mall, east side, with plenty of close parking. The island’s second location in Kihei closed years ago. ATMOSPHERE: This is an aging location but it has gone through a recent renovation and looks great inside. The restaurant is clean and has lots of big windows for natural light. The booths and tables can be configured to handle large groups with ease. FOOD: French Onion Pot Roast — I can’t stress at how delicious this dish is that I rant and rave to friends about. For being a chain restaurant, it’s pretty up there with homemade versions. The tender meat was shredded and topped with a savory dark brown gravy, smooth mashed potatoes(AKA instant,) with sides of buttery corn, and their yummy garlic bread. Priced reasonably at $ 16. Big Steak Omelette — Their omelettes are humongous, not only because they’re made with 3 eggs, but they add in some pancake batter. This behemoth is stuffed with steak, fresh mushrooms and hash browns. On top of that, it’s topped with more steak slices, cheese, diced tomatoes, onions, green peppers, and a ramekin of salsa. And in addition to all of that, it came with 3 buttermilk pancakes. Oinker status and a great deal at $ 13. Pancakes — I used to think I could only get creamy, buttery pancakes at local places but they proved me wrong. They’re fluffy and the batter has that great taste I long for. Sirloin Steak Tips Dinner — The chunks of meat were tender and flavored a bit on the sweet side, though I could tolerate it. The onions were a cooked perfect and visually appealing with slightly charred edges. Accompanying sides were instant but decent mashed potatoes, buttery corn and that tasty garlic bread. Chicken Noodle Soup — This came as a starter dish to my steak tips entrée. The lukewarm soup had a good amount of carrots and celery, and short cuts of noodles. Overall flavor was good. Bananas & Cream Belgium Waffle — The $ 10 single waffle was cooked nicely and had that great buttery batter flavor. It was topped with chopped walnuts, sprinkled with powder sugar, sliced bananas, with a dollop of cream in the middle that wasn’t overly sweet. Very tasty and no additional condiments were needed. Tuscan Scramble — I went with this dish mainly because I wanted pancakes and hash browns with my late night dinner and none of the omelettes come with that option unless you want to order ala carte. When the dish arrived, I was a bit turned off at the overly generous amount of spinach that was added in, but it turned out to be really delicious and went well with the fresh tomatoes, red bells, and basil. The scrambled eggs were fluffy and moist, and overall flavor was very good without any condiments. SERVICE: The staff are friendly and service is pretty quick even when they’re busy. Reservations are suggested but turnover is fairly fast. Coming on a Saturday or Sunday morning? Prepare to wait a while. OVERALL: Good food, good service, open late.

My family and I came to IHOP for dinner. There were approximately 4 families there and tons of open tables. We werent greeted, I actually made the first comments… until finally we were seated… where we waited. and waited… and waited while we watched the associates continue to chat and hang holiday decorations. Not one of them came over to bring water or even tell us someone would be right with us. Here’s the deal… if your looking for fast. Don’t go here. If your looking for service don’t go here. But if you want an apology while the associate sits on her butt doing nothing, you’ll be pleased. We ended up going to the Thai restaurant around the corner.

I’ve been craving Thanksgiving dinner because it’s that time of year! Woohoo. After three failed attempts at Denny’s my fiancé and I decided to try IHOP, not really expecting much more than our shitty experience at Denny’s. Unfortunately, they were very busy. Only two servers on the floor, the third was on her brake. But man, those girls were kicking butt. I was so pleased with how fast everything came out, the great customer service and of course the yummy food! I wish I could remember our servers name. It started with a «M»… She was awesome! Our tab was only $ 15, way worth the amazingness that went down. So I left that awesome server a $ 20 tip. If you ever read this, keep up the great work, girl! You’re awesome at what you do!

I love iHop… Truthfully though we went here and I prepared my Aussie husband for the worst. After all the last time I’d been was in high school, the only place to go when you’re not old enough to drink and too hyper to go to bed even though it’s 3am. We didn’t expect to come here pretty much every time we go to a movie at Maui Mall. The service is always so friendly and while it might take some time occasionally the food is so yummy. Banana cream waffle is my new fav with a side of bacon of course! Yum.

I haven’t been to IHOP Maui Mall in a very long time. However, I recently visited two times in the last month. I must say my last two visits really surprised me and I was very impressed. Here are the reasons why: The customer service was a huge step up from previous visits. Kanani and Bailey were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and very polite. Their customer service skills was very genuine and it was a perfect balance of Aloha and consistent service. It also was refreshing to see them constantly smiling. The menu seemed to be revamped and with a lot more options. So many options, it did take me a while to place an order. I ordered the omelet with steak and hash browns. I was pleasantly surprised on the serving size(which I barely finished), and the quality. The pancakes were also delicious. Fluffy and large with nice chunks of banana in them. I was really pleased with the new menu and the quality of the dishes I ordered. Kitchen also had our food hot and ready really quick with a busy restaurant in the nights I visited. Kudos to the back of house for their timely professionalism. I highly recommended Maui Mall IHOP with their great waitresses, timely service, and the great new large menu. I can’t wait to indulge at this great restaurant again. This may be the best IHOP in the world! I would’ve gave this IHOP a 5 star review, however, they are overdue for a renovation. It’s not a bad thing, but it’s time for makeover. Great work IHOP Maui Mall!

Mita is the nicest hardest working waitress on Maui. If you get her your stoked. Smiles, jokes and hustles. Should be working at Mamas Fish House. Aloha

Typical ihop. Waitress«mita» was very sweet. My blt was cold but we were in a group so it probably waited for other stuff. No view here but the prices aren’t resort prices either. Should have had pancakes!

We went to Ihop for Mother’s Day… as did ½ of Maui. I guess we all knew where to get a GREAT breakfast! The line was long, but it was a special day so we knew it would be a little crazy. We finally sat and ordered up some grub. I love breakfast so I went all out with strawberry topped french toast, scrambled eggs, hash browns and bacon. Yes. The service was great and the food was so good… the only complaint I had were the eggs – they just didn’t taste great… but everything else was awesome. Especially that french toast. I ate every single last bite. I shared a little with my family, but since it was Mother’s Day, I got to be queen of the day and pig out. My family also loved their meals: omelettes, pancakes, fruit and more french toast. Ono.

I’ve never done a review for ihop, so here I am. Having been to many ihop locations, this location at the Maui Mall has to be my fave. Not only is it 3 mins away from my house, but the service & food here is always good! I usually order a breakfast combo(eggs, hash browns, & bacon) with pancakes or their big steak omelette. But this time, I wanted something sweet/dessert-ish for dinner. Killed 2 birds with 1 stone with this«meal.» I ordered their New York Cheesecake Pancakes, which is a stack of 3. Oh my, where do I begin?! Of course, their pancakes are super fluffy… but, when you add pieces of cheesecake throughout the pancake, top it with strawberry syrup, strawberries & whipped cream, it’s heaven! I will be definitely be ordering this again if I have another sweet tooth for dinner!

I am commenting on the service we received. Amber was our server and she was more than polite and even remembered us when we came in a second time in a week. So many times the servers dont get enough recognition. Thank you for your great customer service, Amber!

The food is great but the service really needs attention. There’s a couple of awesome server/waitress’s but that’s if your lucky to be seated at their area. Is this going to be another local spot where you gotta put up with below par service just to enjoy a good meal?

Awful. I guess to be expected. It’s an ihop after all. Sever(Lisa) was quite unpleasant. Food was okay breakfast food although eggs were cold. Disappointing when yearning for food from your home town. Skip it and find another breakfast spot.

Giving this another shot… it’s a new year so why not. Sat within 10 minutes of checking in. Lisa was our server — busy but very sweet. About 20 minutes from order time to receipt of our food, pretty good for the flow of customers on a holiday. Everything was made well on this visit — and the service was good. Noelani took care of a charge discrepancy on our bill based on price difference on our menu. Good save guys good save — I’ll be back again. Thank you for ringing in the new year on a good note!

Prior to this recent experience, their food was just ok, service variable… but this recent experience, the bf found a rather thick black hair in his hash browns and our server was no where to be found… I don’t think they can handle large volumes of people at a time. Our bacon was overcooked, toast never arrived and eggs had an over powering taste of butter. Also, don’t get any of their specialty coffees – we tried the French vanilla flavoured coffee and I have to say, while no aficionado, was the worst coffee I’ve drank in my life; watery, flavourless and expensive($ 3.99) Drive down the road to a 7 – 11 and get better from a machine.
