Yes, this place is still around! I am not a huge buffet fan, mainly because I feel I can’t eat my worth, but the prices here are fair and the food is actually good. ATMOSPHERE: They’re located in The Maui Beach Hotel on the second floor. The main dining area & small bar is open-air with a soaring ceiling which spills out onto a protected outdoor lanai that ends at the hotel’s city-like pool. Seating is a mix of long communal and standard sized tables, and is very popular especially at Christmas time for company parties. They also have several enclosed climate-controlled rooms for private parties, but they’re window-less so it can be a bit dreary and confining. While it’s definitely old school, they do keep the place in tip top shape. FOOD: While they have a small traditional menu with breakfast foods, salads, apps, burgers, sandwiches, and local plate lunches, the majority of the people come for the dinner buffet, which is run 7 days a week. The prices aren’t bad either, ranging from about $ 20 for adults and kids 12 – 17, $ 10 for kids 5 – 11, and free for those under 4. It’s a nice spread that includes salad, a variety of sushi, decent ahi pok’e, tasty stir fried noodles with veggies, fish in about 2 varieties, good BBQ chicken, snow crab legs, very good miso soup with all the garnishes, yummy shrimp & veggie tempura, juicy prime rib, and dessert station with ice cream, cakes, and tarts. It’s best to call and check what’s on the menu as certain foods are available only for the weekend buffet, mainly the crab legs & prime rib. SERVICE: I’ve experienced very good service numerous times here. Everyone was professional, and dressed nicely in uniform. OVERALL: Very good buffet food at great prices, and unexpected professional service.

We used to come here at least twice a month for their breakfast buffet. We hadn’t been here for a few months and decided to stop to get a quick buffet breakfast before work. We were disappointed to find that they no longer have the buffet. Totally understandable– we were told that there wasn’t enough people coming to the buffet which resulted in a lot of waste. The breakfast menu is pretty standard, eggs, omelettes, pancakes etc. I ordered two eggs with rice, bacon and toast which cost about $ 10 which is almost what the buffet used to cost. The service was fast and friendly and the food came out pretty quick. The dining area was pretty empty, there was another couple that came in as we were leaving. I suspect that the few people that eat here during the weekday mornings are people that are staying at the hotel looking for somewhere convenient.
