I am a local and I always try to promote local businesses. This company has pricey yet good candy products & that is the only reason why they are getting a 2 star raring. But the people that run these have given rude customer service. This was the second time this happened @ this particular shop and it has happened also @ their flagship shop in Kainaliu. I have young children and I took them with me along with my sister to get gifts and as soon as we walked in the woman @ the register was very rude to my children. It made me feel like she was prejudice towards children because she snapped @ them in a tone that was not customer friendly. Needless to say, this will be the last time purchasing from their stores. They are a poor example of ALOHA, and I AM a NATIVEHAWAIIAN, it embarrasses me that people like this pretend to have ALOHASPIRIT.

They are pricey but what a great gift. Who wouldn’t want to get donkey balls from Hawaii. Makes the best present and you find yourself chuckling over the different types, Salty Balls and so on. All are chocolate covered macadamia nuts. You can find these other places on the island but the price is better here. I brought home some Blue Balls for a friend which were really blue. What a hoot.

ii am NOT a chocolate eater nor a candy eater. Here and there I will have a bite of some milk chocolate w/almonds or mac nut. ii love almonds and mac nut. I decided to go here to see what all the hype was about && let me tell you ii bought a small bag of the Macadamia nut w/caramel(almost like almond turtles) and ii literally ate the whole bag myself *yikes*.ii am so regretting coming home empty handed and that ii only bought a small bag. ii found some at hilo airport but ii wasn’t about to pay $ 16 for a small bag that ii only paid $ 6 for at the store. the good thing is that when ii got back to Oahu, ii called the store to see if ii could order it and have it shipped && they said ii could… ii was a HAPPY camper after that answer:)

This place was super fun to stop by on our way out of town! The chocolate covered macadamia nuts are very tasty but a little pricey for how many balls you actually get. It’s a great tourist spot and the owner is extremely friendly and happy!

Pretty touristy spot along Ali’i Drive. The 8 oz bags are $ 15 including tax, and because each macadamia nut is covered in so much chocolate, you don’t end up with that many. But on the bright side, you can contribute to the extinction of chocolate much faster, 50 layers at a time: Instead, I’d recommend strolling to Walmart to get Mauna Loa’s chocolate covered macadamia nuts. At $ 8.83 for 11 oz, you can’t go wrong. And you can savor it for much longer. Granted, you don’t have a label on the outside that’s a testicle joke, but you’re an adult: you can make up your own!

This place is a rip off of the original donkey balls location that’s up mauka. The donkey balls don’t taste as good! I tried to return two unopened bags, and the lady wouldn’t let me! Search for the original donkey balls place. It’s 10 – 15 minutes away, but you can actually watch them making donkeyballs while you taste some of them, and the selection is huge!

This is my 2nd time to this location. Who doesn’t love donkey balls? I love the blue balls and frosted ones. Samples are always offered and the guy running it is super nice! Great gifts to take to the mainland. Will crack smiles…=D

Balls, balls, balls wrapped in chocolate. A girl’s paradise! They have a variety of samples… I’ve never had soooo many balls in my mouth all at once. Definitely expensive, but for a tourist spot, it’s to be expected.

Fun! Who doesn’t like a play on your dirty humorous side with several choices of Donkey balls? From Frosted to Balls of Fire to Blue(literally) to Hairy you have your choice of dirty gift ideas that taste good. They’re actually chocolate covered macadamia nuts. Well more like a huge thick layer of chocolate with a macadamia nut hidden inside somewhere, almost like the baby in a king cake. You do pay for those huge balls. You get like 5 for $ 7 and maybe 12 for $ 14. Still its worth it if you or anyone you like has a dirty mind. Who doesn’t? Or try the dingleberries(chocolate covered dried strawberries) or the No nuts balls, the Whooper’s cousin. They also have Kona coffee. But who doesn’t in Kona?

Want to try a taste of the local macadamia nuts covered in milk chocolate? You have to stop and get some of these delicious Donkey Balls to put in your mouth. Your greeted by a friendly local who has a variety of balls to try. Don’t be scared off by the prices because it is worth it. I recommend you buy a few smaller bags instead of on large bag. The«Balls of Fire» are my favorite. Ive also tried the«Dirty Balls» but those didn’t tickle my fancy. Check them out next time your in Kona, Hi.
