Taco Bell

This review is for the DRIVE-​THRU!
It was a little late, but we needed lunch. The kids had finished their appointments at Snip Tease, and were demanding tacos. Taco Bell was right up the road, so off we go!
I am lazy, so I opted for the drive-​thru. I was greeted by a very friendly person. Because we got up to the window quickly, I wasn’t sure of everyone’s orders. She waited patiently for the order. And when I asked about the frozen drink promotion, she explained it in detail. I really don’t think I have had a better drive-​thru experience. When we got up to the pick up window, we were again greeted warmly. Our food was ready and it was accurate. We were even wished a Happy New Year as we drove off.
Bravo, Taco Bell for giving us a pain free and, dare I say, an enjoyable experience in a fast food drive-​thru.

Middle of the afternoon, not that busy. Workers are slow and just act like they don’t want to be here, except the manager. Food was good though.

Both times I’ve been through the drive thru were pretty crappy.
A girl filled my drink only halfway, slapped the cover on and handed it to me. When I asked if she could fill it to the top (you know, since I paid for it an’ all) she was crazy rude and told me no because I had drank half of it. Yeah, 20oz of soda within the last 20 seconds when I hadn’t even pulled my arm into my window yet and through the still completely sealed cover. I’ll make sure to leave my telekinesis home next time.
This last time I added a bag of those cheap nachos to my order and I got maybe six or seven pieces– less than half a bags’ worth.

Ok… why are we so addicted to taco bell? The food is just thrown together. They don’t care about their food preparation at all. It really isn’t the best Mexican food. But it’s sooooooo gooood! I love the soft tacos and burritos. Mexican pizza is one of my favorite items. What can I say? Taco Bell is a top fast food pick for me.

I am embarrassed to have this taco bell so conveniently located by my house. I order tacobell so frequently that the drive through employees finish my order for me and remember who I am. Since I’ve started coming to this taco bell the drive thru is always long which is fine, but when I went inside for the first time I realized why. You have a full staff that moves slow and plays around too much. The lady working the inside register hates her job, that’s apparent. She impatiently stared at us while my boyfriend was deciding on what to order and cut us off while we told her what we wanted. She ended up getting his order wrong just because she was too impatient. Maybe she was having a bad day? I dont know, but where I work we send people home who have an attitude. (Rude– que bonquiqui). &Then she proceeded to do the same thing to the next customer. So that’s where the service lacks, now let’s get to the quality. I’ll keep this one short and sweet. Bean burritos. They have cheese, mine was cold. Not once, but twice.

Slowest fast food ever! I’ve never ever ever gotten quick service at this location. Its never busy yet they always take FOREVER to get a meal out.

Every damn time we come thru the drive thru they get our order wrong! How hard is it to not put sour cream in something, isn’t it easier and faster to make it without sour cream?

Horrible service! I live locally and have given this location the benefit of the doubt … and after 4 tries on same item … FAIL!!! I have repeatedly tried to order a pizza (any topping — just a pizza!) and I’m always told that they don’t have them available. I’m told that I «need to call ahead». Unless I’m mistaken, this is a fast food place?!? So, on the fourth try, I did try to call ahead. I tried calling for about 10 minutes before anyone answered the phone. By the time they answered, I was already in the drive-​thru. Needless to say, I still waited for about 10 minutes to get my order (undercooked). I did receive my burritos correctly, but the pizza & breadsticks was so far below par for the brand level I expected. I will definitely be going elsewhere from now on. Suggest that you do too … This location cares nothing about customer service, nor do they care about the quality of food they serve their customers … JITB up the road does much better by their customers …

Horrible. bad service and always messing up orders. workers sound and look like they don’t want to be there.

Always messing up orders night especially and day too! Horrible, slow, and employees always seem to have an attitude! Except for the manager that I don’t think works there anymore. 2 months ago he was there but I don’t see him around anymore.

First time trying the new sausage biscuit today. Had a hair in it. Thanks.

Waited for our food for 30min when it’s supposed to be fast food. Workers look sloppy and like they hate their job. The kitchen and make line look disgusting as if it gets cleaned once a week.

So Mexican fast food … If that’s what you can call it. The food is as to be expected so I’m not writing about that. I only go here on rare occasions. Each time the drive through people have been friendly and have always gotten my order right. For a fast food chain establishment the workers a really friendly. I always get a ton of sauce packets… which ends up in my fridge for what seems like years until I throw them out. There was am occasion where I grabbed cash before I left my house… but when I got my order I didn’t grab enough. Since I left my wallet at home the person at the drive through was nice enough to comp my daughters meal and only charge me for mine. How awesome are they! Great friendly people.

About 80% of the time I go through the drive through they get my order wrong. They usually forget to put things in the bag and some employees have attitude problems. Also, I heard a lot of their staff members have done jail time. That doesn’t necessarily affect the food, but it does add a layer of discomfort I come here once In a while, but I would rather go to jack in the box across the street.

Food is great. Today my order was wrong. Customer service okay. Had burrito supreme. Pepperoni personal pan pizza and breadsticks.

Tip: the bathroom is outside in the back so if you’re there with kids without another adult to help, that can surely be a pain.
Service was friendly and food was fine. also know that it is a Pizza Hut in addition to a Taco Bell.

Anyways, once in a very rare blue moon my husband will crave fake mexican food –taco bell. The one on base is lame, the one in kailua doesn’t have a drive through so this leaves the one in Kaneohe. I never have high expectations for fast food, especially taco bell but for some strange reason this was an exception.
After driving through drive through and figuring out I had no idea what I wanted since their menu has really expanded in the last couple of years, we walked in. I ended up ordering I think 3 different times, and even though the line was always long and there were eager customers, the staff behind the counter was SO friendly, happy, efficient and helpful! The manager was even working line to help keep things moving. I could not believe how friendly they were… hence why I HAD to review this taco bell!
Hope you have an awesome experience like I did, even though it was just that once!

Every time I’ve gone drive thru either the order is wrong or extremely slow. Arggggghhhh

Bring back the Fa’afafine’s, at least they were quick, efficient, made your order correct, and cared about their jobs. Then again the old saying goes: They F*!k you at the drive-​thru. Got to the window after ordering, the girl at the window didn’t even acknowledge me, took about two minutes before I could pay, no smile no nothing, Hint if you hate your job that much quit. Had to ask three times for taco sauce, napkins at the bottom of the bag all greasy and useless, tacos looked like they were tossed into the wrappers with cheese, tomatos, and lettuce everywhere. Hate to see what my order would look like when they’re getting slammed.

I love Taco Bell. My favorite here is the cool ranch tacos. They make me feel better about myself, and full of gas. The ride home is especially interesting.
The only thing crappy is that they play their music there too loud at times. What gives? Stop blasting oldies music. I feel like I’m in a gassy version of Grease.
