I was enjoying Werewolves of London, then they changed the song. Luckily, Bogeys is across the street. Also when I asked to turn the Stevie Nicks song up, I was told no.

A good place to watch a sporting event, because there are lots of TVs visible at different angles in the bar and dining room area. They even have a patio with TVs. We had appetizers and drinks while watching a couple Chiefs games. The first time we ate in there was more people than the second. It seemed dead the second time. I don’t know why since they have drink specials on week nights and above average food. The first night we went it was half price bottle of wine night(Monday?). The bacon wrapped scallops and nachos looked good. Our friends said they were. And, I tasted the Irish Stew and that was some good tasting soul food for sure! We got some take out chili for my husband kept going on about how great the meat and flavor was in it. He’s a fan!

Visited this place twice and it was once too many. Lacks servers and organization. Food variety is good but price point is too high. Weekend bartender is always mad and not very accommodating unless you are the owners friends. Very disappointing!

FUN, friendly atmosphere! Great place to hang out with friends to watch your fav sports teams, enjoy a date night and/or host a large special occasion event. If you like to dance, check out the live music on the weekends. The bartenders and wait staff are personable, accommodating and work hard to try to make sure you return. And did I mention the food? FABULOUS! The Reuben and chili are SO tasty — the deserts are amazing! Excellent menu variety. Stop by, see for yourself.

Always seem to have a nice meal here. Good menu and courteous staff. I like the bar area. It’s weird though — I’m not sure why it always seems empty there. The music on Fri nights are a great option.

Had breakfast here today and it was fabulous! Richard our server was great! Very attentive to our every need. I had a veggie omelette which I will have again, it was delicious! The Eggs Benedict was the best. Both served with fruit and really good hash browns. We will be back for breakfast and also to try the dinner menu. Fantastic Roasterie coffee too!

While striving to survive in a harsh business, I was reminded twice in the first ten minutes at ten fifteen that it was last call. Save your time too many other options that care about your hard earned dollar.

I don’t review things often, and it’s even rare when it’s to brag that I found a GREAT spot, but this is deserving. If you can only stop in one place in south KC, I’d recommend this place. It’s high class pub food but I had a mouthwatering salad(lettuce, onions, feta cheese, broccoli and some kind of but nut in a vinegarette dressing) and I cannot stop talking about this brat. My husband had the«burly» club and a beef soup — I tasted both and they were soooo yummy. Please don’t pass it up because it’s not flashy on the out side, the food and friendly atmosphere are killer.

As soon as we sat down the owner, Murray, came over and introduced himself; welcomed us and gave us a dinner recommendation. SCORE! Since our first visit I have been back multiple times. This sleepy little bar is a hidden gem on the border of South KC. It’s an ideal place to stop off for a beer and a bite. With a great happy hour menu, friendly staff and a beautiful patio this is the perfect location to decompress after a long day at work or just to while away a lazy afternoon.

Visited during restaurant week and had a great experience! Started off with the baked potato soup which was tasty with chunks of potato and crumbled bacon topped off with abut of cheese. My entrée was the Reuben with sweet potato fries. The sandwich had a nice ratio of everything that makes a Reuben great, corned beef, sauerkraut and thousand island dressing with cheese. The desert consisted of a warm chocolate chunk cookie-yum. Service showed great skill, my water stayed full, each plate was timed perfectly from the kitchen and dishes cleared quickly as well. The ONLY bit of criticism is to avoid the shouts when an order is up, of when the waiters are walking around the kitchen corner.(can’t be sure of the cause) We’ll be sure to visit again!
