Tried the lumpia for the first time a few days ago and it was pretty awesome! I liked how I could mix and match which fillings I wanted and that they were freshly made. Would definitely go eat their lumpia more often if I lived in the area.

Pretty decent lumpia; however, everyone’s mom’s cooking is always better right? And since my mom isn’t on island, Allyssandra’s becomes that surrogate mom. They offer both sweet chili and vinegar dipping sauces. Make sure to get both! Six lumpia for $ 5.50, including tax.

Love this place to get some lumpia. They’ve been outside Kmart for a while since I remember stopping by when we went to Kmart or something when I was a kid. It’s a no frills place, just a cart near the doors of kapolei Kmart. The prices remained in the same range for sometime too, only been raised about 50cents or so it’s still reasonably priced for a bag of 6 lumpia. They have a few different lumpia: vegetable pork, banana, just pork(which is what I always get) and I can’t remember the rest of the small menu lol. Anyway, love their lumpia, it’s hot and crispy most times and eating with the vinegar sauce is the best. Try a bag, it’s 5.50 tax included. You might need extra sauce like me if you drink it lol jk.

Ahh yes… this place! Years ago, I would always come here and pick up a six pack of Lumpia from these guys. They have been in Kapolei for many, many years and is posted on the right side before entering K-Mart’s doors. When I used to work in the Campbell Industrial Park area, This place was one of my quick stops before heading out to work. I recently stopped by here to grab a bag before shopping at Kmart. I haven’t been here in years, actually it’s been about a decade. But the ladies that work here are still nice and friendly as I remembered them. They serve 3 different types of Lumpias. 1) Shanghai 2) Pork w/Veggies 3) Banana They’re all ono delicious! You can also mix match or buy individually. I noticed that their $ 5 price tag for a bag of 6 pieces has risen by just a quarter. It’s still a great deal! They have a few more food items other than lumpia on their menu. There’s also Pancit. Then there’s desserts such as Butter or Coconut Mochi and Bodbod! After all these years of selling lumpias out of their little food stand I must say that I’m pretty impressed that they are still here and in business for all those years even though there’s Little Caesars and Wendy’s in the vicinity.

The Lumpia’s here are great. Allyssandra sells Banana, Vegetable, and Vegetable Pork. $ 1 for 1 or $ 5.25 for 6! If you go in the morning around 10 its still deep frying and if you’re lucky, you get it right out the hot oil! I ordered 6 banana and 6 veggie for 10.50. Me and my bf enjoyed it with their special chili sauce!

Located at a foodstand outside the Kapolei Kmart. It’s one of the best things you can get quickly to go from the west side. No one makes lumpia like Mama makes lumpia but when in Oahu(and no Mama around) Allyssandra makes ‘em pretty darn good.

I haven’t this lumpia express lumpia in a while its because I myself a Filipino & usually have it at friends/family parites or elsewhere in Kalihi or Waipahu resturants/stores. Anyways I myself went to Kmart Kapolei just to browse during my lunch break. I decided to buy a some banana lumpia, I figure that I it would be a satisfying mini lunch. I bought a bag for $ 5. The lumpia sits upright on display to sell, just fried & sitting for us to buy & yet it warm/hot enough to eat without burning yourself. I took one bite of it knew it was way too sweet & oily on the bottom, I had my napkin soaking oil through my fingers. What they did was overloaded the banana in white sugar before rolling it in its wrapper. Terrible way to make it, its the cheapest economical fastest way to make it. I’ve tasted better at a lunch wagon in Campbell Industrial or in any Waipahu food store/resturant. Their pansit is way way too salty. I know those old ladies, old man(nanas/tata) lost their taste buds, but its way too much. With that being said, I can truly say I just had experienced the worst Filipino lumpia, also pansit cooking just to make a buck off people which shows no pride in their cuisine they put the shame on Filipino food!

Lumpia is the Filipino version of an egg roll. There are variations. Some have just meat and some combine meat and veggies. This food cart is located just outside of the KMart and whenever I’m in Hawaii, I try to make a stop here for delicious lumpia! The lady that runs the food cart is very nice and it’s a chance to support local vendors that serve delicious food. She also sells fried bananas wrapped in egg roll wrapper. It’s a great little snack to eat on the go!

The lumpia here is really consistent. If you catch them on a slow period though, you’ll be eating lumpia thats been sitting around for a while, so if you don’t mind it not being piping hot, then go for it! its still crisp, and 6 for $ 5 isn’t so bad for pork rolls. They take credit cards now… somehow… hmmm. I’ve done it, it seems safe.

Man the lumpia here is good. I like the pork and veggie one. And the vinegar dipping sauce is mean. Every time I go to Kmart Kapolei its hard to resist getting some. Wonder if they taste good with a Wendy’s frosty the same way french fries and frostys taste good?
