Stopped in here on a whim. My wife had the Texas Size Chicken Fried Steak with mashed potatoes and fried okra. I tasted it all. The breading was tasty ave the steak was nice and tender. The potatoes were smooth and creamy. The okra was done just about perfectly. I had 12oz Ribeye with pinto beans and green cabbage. The steak was tender and very flavorful if a tad salty, I enjoyed it very much. The beans were packed with flavor too, add was the cabbage. I have 4 stars because the seats were a bit uncomfortable… Besides that. It’s a place I would eat at again.

Excellent service… marisa was the bomb… food was delicious… green beans were perfect… everything was seasoned right and tasty… we will be back

i like coming here just because of the tea house connected to it and food was okay. At first I was impressed by the two servers a man and a talk lady with blue eyes but went there yesterday and was seated by two new girls (new faces, younger looking) and was very disappointed by the service, we were the only ones there and she forgot to give us mustard and mayo on the burger, and we specifically asked for it, she walked by us multiple times and never asked if everything was okay, she was just plain cold, no smiles and not friendly at all she set the weird atmosphere and all of the sudden i didnt want to be there, she gave our check and we waited 15 mins and nobody took the check we then decided to walk to the cashier and pay for it over there instead, she processed the payment and didnt even apologize a single bit, and take note we were the only one eating there. please give the new girls a piece of advice, at least be friendly and put a smile on your face while serving.

The food and service was excellent. The only reason I’m not rating 5 stars is because when I walked in there was a pungent smell, probably associated with the restaurant having carpet. I almost walked out due to the smell, but since there were such good reviews I decided to brave it. I ordered the lunch special which was chicken fried chicken and had mashed potatoes and okra as my sides. The food was some of the best homecoming I’ve had. I do wish the cornbread was either sweet or had jalapeño in it!

We only go there for breakfast and we enjoy it very much. It’s one of the places that’s in our Sunday breakfast rotation. The menu isn’t too big so it’s not overwhelming and the price is good. There’s a bubble tea place connected to the restaurant so we get dessert as well. The servers are friendly and good. Would recommend.

Came with family for a lunch on a whim, and we were pleasantly surprised. Breakfast lunch was on point!

Tonight was my first visit to this place. We went early so it wasn’t busy and had excellent service. I had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. My wife had the hamburger steak with grilled onions. Both meals were delicious. The green beans tasted fresh and were perfectly cooked. The cream gravy on mine was very tasty as well as the brown gravy on my wife’s. I looked over the entire menu. They really have a large section of items and the prices are very reasonable. I can’t wait to go back and try something different.

The best chicken fried steak I have ever had. Classic white gravy is amazing. Batter is crispy and perfectly flavored. Mashed potatoes and fired okra are delicious.

First time coming here and the food was great! This place was recommended to me by a friend and im glad I came! It’s actually pretty close to my house but I never thought to stop by. I tried the grilled tilapia and my friend had the bacon cheeseburger. It was all very tasty and definitely tasted like a home cooked meal. It also isnt too pricey. Not to mention they have a smoothie place next door and their iced green teas are so good! They were pretty busy when we got there but our waitress did her best to keep us happy. Overall I had a great experience with great food!

It’s been a while but we had to come back. Food was delicious as always and our waitress was great. In the past, we waited a little longer for our food/​service but today it shows that’s not the case anymore.

I felt like I was in the past. Old tables, cheap uncomfortable chairs, threadbare carpet, and just a general rickety atmosphere. Sometimes, it can have a kind of timeless charm, the unique feel of a place that’s not so much stuck in time as outside time. Here, everything just felt tired and worn.
Food was fine, but only fine. The breakfast menu held few surprises: eggs, pancakes, hashbrowns, biscuits, etc. The dinner menu was similarly plain, except for a couple of out of place entrees clearly stolen from Carrabba’s (what, you mean Chicken Bryan isn’t an Old World classic?).
It was hard to get excited about anything. My biscuit had that strange mushy-​but-​chewy texture that microwaving bread gives you. That was the one real dud. Everything else was unremarkable. And there were a few weird, cheap touches like off-​brand jelly mixed in with the Smuckers. I’d expect to find this kind of place in a town of 10,000 people where you don’t have any other choices, not in an overcrowded corner on the edge of a major city.
Service was pleasant when it was available, but tended to disappear on you. I spent quite some time with an empty glass.

This is connected to Fusion 36 internally and shares a food menu. While all we had were coffee and tea we did decide to drink our beverages here and peek at the menu.
It seems popular enough for brunch by locals. Wasn’t impressed with the mens room. Kinda had a look like no one had cleaned it recently.

The service is fine. The atmosphere was probably at one time nice, but now it is dirty and tore up. The food wasn’t horrible. I got the chicken caesar salad it wasn’t bad. My husband got the tomato bisque and it tasted like he sauce in Spaghetti O’s. He also got the club sandwich, it was decent… mundane.
I probably won’t come back, nor will I recommend it to anyone. This place needs a good cleaning.

My wife and I tried their breakfast and were quite happy with the food and the prices. The service was a decent.
My peeve was the obvious neglect of building maintenance. walls badly scuffed behind chairs, full ashtrays outside, frayed carpet, etc.
I think you can typically judge a restaurant by its restrooms and these failed. The fancy faucet in the men’s restroom has fallen through the counter top and was just hanging by the spout on the sink bowl, cleaning supplies left under the sink, dimly lit, a dirty broken trash can, and smelled bad.
I would question how the kitchen looked.
The place seems to have the right parts, but they need to pay attention to the details if they want to succeed.

The house salad was pretty fresh. I had the ribeye steak with fried okra and potato salad as the sides.
I will come back again. They need to work on speed of service.
Overall good experience.

This place hits all points in terms of service, quality of food, and low key atmosphere. Everything I have ordered has been fresh.
Bonus, while stopping in for breakfast this morning an active duty solider on break staged a surprise visit to his mother and father who were dining for breakfast. Beautiful moment! The reaction of the father when he realized his son was in town was priceless. Mother was obviously in on the surprise.

Terrible service … Beyond terrible… like you are looking around for the hidden camera because you know it must be a joke. No one is this terrible, lol. This used to be a favorite spot for breakfast but has gone downhill suddenly.
Just a suggestion… I had way better service and a much nicer meal at the Denny’s just down the road.
