The food at this location is very hit or miss. I come here a lot and they almost always forget the side and the pickle that comes with a sandwich. You should always check your food before you leave because driving all the way home and discovering they forgot half your order really sucks. Also, if they’re running low on bread they’ll give you a thin(less than 1 cm) slice of bread rather than the usual chunk of bread as your side. I wouldn’t have a problem with this if they actually told you that’s what you’ll be getting. All in all the food is decent but not worth dealing with the hassle.

The lines here are always so long. They have what looks like a dozen people behind the counter and yet they seem to be able to take orders are an average of 1 every 5 minutes which can cause a backup of 12 to 20 people during lunch time. The green iced tea is good but nothing unique to this location. Once it took be 20 minutes just to get bread.

This location is not any good unfortunately and it’s unsanitary. The tables were not clean and I ordered a sandwich and I saw one piece of corn in my plate and a little piece of lettuce. If they are going to keep that up then next time when I go back(I highly doubt that) I’m going over to complain about how unsanitary this place really is. The steak and cheese panini was kind of a disappointment and I had an apple also and that was pretty good but they need to keep up with cleaning this place. I really don’t see myself going back to this place again. They got to keep the orders clean and they got to clean those tables!

Last two visits, for some reason, the edges of the flatbread, and especially around the corners, was«rock hard?» Not sure why. Stale bread? Or maybe too much time in the microwave? Don’t know, but a turnoff. Not only that, none of the people putting the meals together were wearing anything on their heads to keep falling pieces of hair from getting mixed in with the food. Not sure why this is being allowed. Even a bigger turn off than what they’re doing with the bread. Both need to be taken care of ASAP!

I LOVE Panera BUT this location has completely disappointed me, I ordered a sandwich to go and it was lacking everything but the bread. The dressing that goes on the bread was a small dollop in the middle of each piece of bread. The rest of the sandwich consisted of lots of lettuce and very mushy tomatoes– two slices of cucumber and and a sprinkle of feta. Unfortunately I could not just drive back and ask for a new one as I live a ½ hour away and I bought this driving thru Keene. I was REALLY looking forward to this sandwich and all I got was about two bites. Not sure I will be going back to this location again– very sad. :(

Sad to only give Panera two stars, but this location was dirty and just not friendly. I also didn’t like what I ordered. Went in for a late lunch around 2pm and it was surprisingly pretty busy. Husband and I both ordered the same thing(not sure why we did that) — roasted turkey, avocado BLT. We took our drinks over the fountain and the entire area was a mess and needed to be restocked(straws, lids, etc.). The majority of the tables were dirty so it was hard to find a clean one to dine at. Lots of workers around, but apparently not working?! In true Panera fashion, the order came out quickly. Husband brought the sandwiches over to the table it they looked like a mess on a plate. For some reason I thought it would deli turkey, not carved turkey(woof!) so I was turned off immediately. After I took off all the meat, I was left with cold, chewy bacon(gross), mealy tomatoes and avocado that appeared to be scooped right out of its skin and onto my bread. Annoyed. I could tolerate the bacon, but definitely not that mealy tomato. I also had to slice up the unripened avocado so I could bite into my sandwich. Husband experienced all the same things, but he likes roasted turkey and omitted the tomato from the start. He ate it, but said never again. We were at the restaurant for about 30 –40 minutes and I never once saw anyone bus the tables or restock the soda area. Will we return? Yes likely but only because I typically love Panera — hopeful this was just a one time bad experience.

Ordered lunch to go with special requests on my sandwich(no mayo, changing bread, etc). The order came out extremely quickly and exactly as I had ordered. Service was also friendly.

This is my favorite Keene restaurant. I love their meals. My favorite being the smoked turkey breast. And it is great for kids there are many kid meals. And i love the fact that they make their own bread. I recommend this for everyone who likes eating!

I’d give it 5 stars — but they gave me a salad with bacon and I’d had a conversation with the clerk about being a vegetarian(and I ordered a salad that wasn’t supposed to have meat!) When I brought it to the manager — he was VERY nice — apologetic too . The staff here are always nice– great menu, lots of choices. I only wish they’d clean the tables more often … I usually sit and the table is dirty. Black bean soup is to die for! The only other thing that’s a tad bit annoying– when you walk up to look at the menu, they immediately ask if they can help you(not a bad thing) However, it gets awkward when you are looking at the menu and they stare at you until you are ready to order. A bit uncomfortable!

I’m reviewing a Panera? It’s a chain, fairly consistent location to location so why even post? Here’s the deal… I frequently go to Panera for the«Pick2». Most of the time they(any location, really) skimp on the salad dressing and the mayo on the sandwiches. This location blew me away by drowning the greens in dressing. Also the half sandwich had enough mayo on it for two whole sandwiches! BRAVO!

I was first introduced to Panera when I was on the East Coast for school. I love the gourmet/home made-ness that Panera brings with it in serving you. Being at school surrounded by pizza places and Walmarts makes you craaaavvvvvvvvve healthy. Born and raised in LA, I always ate healthy and fresh food. And you become in despair when yeah you could go for the salad at the pizza place, but you go day after day feeling grosser and grosser about yourself. I’m not a health freak, but after a few weeks I would kill for a fruit salad or a smoothie or some home made this or that. My friend brought me to Panera, which was a godsend to me. The mixing aromas of soups sandwiches, smoothies made me sooo happy. The soft lighting and the comfy seating and the tapping of keyboards as people sipped their gingerbread latte’s and sipping on their creamy chicken noodle soup put me into exctasy. The people working there are very friendly.

Panera is one of the best places in Keene, NH to grab a delicious and healthy bite to eat at a relatively cheap price. They specialize in their homemade bread, so sandwhiches are great, but they also have a great selection of yummy soups as well! My favorite right now is the vegetarian Fiesta Con Queso! It’s amazing. They also make my favorite drink in town, the iced Chai Tea Latte(complete with nutmeg on top!).
