My first time come to Dickies, not impressed at all. I had 2 meat plate: sausage and ribs. The sausage was alright but the ribs were not juicy and tender as I expected. There was not much food and you can only get 2 sides. I went to Spring Creek Bbq a lot, you can get as many sides as you want! Disappointed, will never be back.

Order is consistently good. Yes, I am a fan and they get the order right. One of the things I look for in a restaurant is consistency. So when you place your order, you have the great expectation is will be as good as your last order.

Well I had a few dollars left on that gift card, so decided on BBQ for dinner last night(1÷23÷16). I actually wanted to try the Dickey’s on Rufe Snow, but as I drove north from 820, I missed it, so here I am in Keller, again. I opted for a healthier choice, namely the smoked turkey. I was skeptical, but as I stood in line, three people ahead of me also ordered the turkey. Hmm, maybe they know something. The first thing I notice, «Wow, that seems like a generous portion.» Service with a smile from the carver. Nice. I like that little extra flourish at the end of the plating, where he tosses another chunk or bird onto your plate. Score! Don’t forget your warm roll, it’s was placed on plate above the carving station. So I tried to pick healthier sides, BBQ beans and… Well nothing else looked healthy, except more beans(non BBQ), or salad(green, potato, creamy coleslaw), so I added a scoop of macaroni and cheese to my plate. A quick stop for some jalapenos and more(spicy) BBQ sauce and I’m on my way(to my table, by the one TV). First a bite of bird. Wow, this is tender turkey. As in shockingly tender. Maybe too tender? Now it does seem to be a processed product, as I saw no bones when it was carved, rather a large«block» is what was on the table. It did have good smoke flavor though. BBQ Beans are OK. Mac & cheese, exactly what one expects. Not great, but not terrible either. Super soft roll tastes good too. Spicy BBQ sauce adds a bit of a kick, though not as much as I would have liked. I didn’t think I would be able to eat everything, but it was so good, I did. I finish my meal off with a free vanilla soft-serve ice cream in a tiny cone. There’s always room for dessert. Bottom line: Second time here and must say the employees here are very friendly. The food is good, and the service with a smile makes it even better. PS. I think I saw a sign, out front, that said«WiFi is here», but forgot to check as I was too busy eating.

I’ve had multiple bad experiences with this restaurant. The last 4 times I have driven thur I haven’t gotten what I ordered. The food alright, not my first choice but I have consistently receive the wrong order although the cashier has a reassured me that it was correct. I am no longer visiting any Dickey’s locations.

Extremely disappointed. Drove thru this afternoon and ordered 3 baked potatoes with chicken. The chicken was good, although barely was put on them. I really believe the potatoes could have been a couple of days old. Normally, they are cooked perfect and you can eat the skin if you choose. All three of these looked shriveled up and like they weren’t even washed. When I pay $ 8 for a potato, I expect it to be good. If it wasn’t so far of a drive, I would have returned my food. It was not good and a complete waste of money!

Not bad compared to franchised BBQ joint. Wife and kids craving some BBQ and we decided to give Dickey’s a try. Ribs where very good for late evening and brisket was tender. Will try again when we decide to eat drive thru BBQ.

If you want bbq, Dickeys is always a place to try if you can’t find anything else. It’s a chain, and it has a chain-like feel to it. But the food is consistently good, and you know what to expect. Nothing really stands out, but nothing is bad, either. Just simple bbq.

I eat here occasionally, and I’m sometimes not sure why. Perhaps it’s because there is no competition besides Spring Creek BBQ and Feedstore BBQ in Keller. The meats always seem dry and old. It’s not like I’m eating terrible food, but it doesn’t seem like I’m eating fresh food. Last time I got food to go at this location I had a bad experience with my fried okra. There were a few fried stems I mistakenly tried to eat… maybe a new employee? I think I’m done with settling for Dickies.

Not a big fan of this place. The meat here never seems to be fresh and the sides as well. I used to eat here a lot more but I just wish there was better quality. The sausage here is pretty good and the sweet tea. But other than that I’ll pass

My wife & I enjoy this Keller BBQ a lot; close to home and we just LOVE the Dickey’s BBQ! Founded in Texas by a lady with deep Texas roots. Fantastic food, and iced tea.

Delicious food and great service, has been there several times! I love brisket and ribs two meats plate with jalapeño beans and potato salad. Don’t put regular barbecue sauce better if you try hot sauce. I loved every bite.

It’s not as bad as the other reviewers make it out to be. It’s not an authentic family owned barbecue that you might find outside of Austin, it’s a chain restaurant. It’s a cute place, convenient location; and while I don’t expect to see this place on the Food Television network anytime soon, I will definitely be getting my barbecue fix for me and my out of town guests here!

This was very disappointing. The turkey had a good smoked flavor, but was very spongy in texture. The broccoli salad was incredibly dry and sad. The«BBQ beans» were pretty much Campbell’s pork ‘n beans.

The brisket is pretty lousy. They must either partially steam or bake it instead of smoke it the way it should be done. It tastes like a bland boiled piece of bologna and it has a pale gray color. The meat also lacks the reddish smoke ring that true BBQ has. I went twice to this location and had the same lousy experience.
