So after reading the reviews and looking over the menu I decided to give a try. BEWARE, bar is now under new ownership so the menu on Unilocal no longer exists. Now it’s just a regular bar with so so food.

We stopped in after a 4.5 hour drive from Shreveport, staying the the Hilton. We could we have walked here! What a treat the female bartender was and the food wasn’t bad either!

I stumbled upon this hidden gem when I was leaving the casino with my buddies. It was 10pm on a Monday night. I won some extra cash, and we had a craving for Bloody Marys. Low and behold, the bar tender there makes a killer Bloody Mary. Best one in the State of Louisiana. Turns out his specialties are in Bloody Marys and Margaritas. Totally lucked out. This guy put the tender in Bartender. It was a real homemade Bloody Mary. Fortunately the crowd was only 3 other people. For 4 orders, he took his time and after 4minutes of waiting, voila! The taste was spicy and had a few «Extra» kicks in it. I saw his secret ingredients, but he forced me not to tell his secrets. Definitely unique, and I would have it again… Notably, next time in the morning! ¡Bottoms up!
This place a dance floor, some bar games and a decent bar. It was reasonably clean, and the smoke wasn’t too bad. Well ventilated, and fair prices.

This place is the most quietest bar I’ve ever been to. The bartender is such a sweet heart. She waa easy to talk to and approach, she wasn’t swamped or she didn’t act like she had other things to do. She was just awesome. However during a happy hour, I expect a place to be packed to capacity and noisy but it was the complete opposite. Everything was cool, they even had pets here. My rum punch was very mych standard so no complaints here. However, the quesadillas were small and only four of them for $ 8.50 however, they were pretty good. Idk but overall this place is cool and I will come back. She had it on Wendy Williams Show (Awesome Sauce) so I was able to sip my 2.75 rum punch happy hr price drink and watch Wendy spill the tea (How you doing?). This place is cool for quietnesd and good well drinks!

Not a bad place, usually pretty empty. Food is actually pretty good, good gumbo and the catfish poboy is great. Very friendly staff.
I’d recommend Speakeasy for a relatively quiet night of drinks and pool.
