Amazing service! The best staff around. The only complaint I could possibly have is with the mashed potatoes. Just plain old mash. The porter house for two was amazing. We had leftovers and steak salad was our dinner the following day. The dessert was huge and amazing. Chocolate mousse cake!

I took a client and my wife to this location on 1÷25÷16 expecting the quality meal I have received from this same establishment in other locations. What we received was very tough steaks and minimum services. My client informed our waiter of the below quality steak he received in a very kind manner but to our surprise did not even receive an apology. Our 3 meals were over $ 200.00 and we could have received better meat and service from a much less expensive establishment. If you eat at Ruth Chris you expect more because you pay more. Sad this was not the with this location.

Lunch menu offered many appetizing options to us yesterday, so we had small filet, fries, shrimp & grits, and two large Caesar salads(only $ 3 with entrée). Really enjoyed food and great service, so returning for weekend lunch may be more likely for us.

Screwed up a birthday. Drove all the way over there, could not find a parking place, valet would not even park me. Once we finally found a place, went in, and were told they were behind a «little bit.» We were assured the wait would not be long, as they were just waiting for some folks who had already been billed and paid to leave. OK, that’s acceptable. Then she said to have a seat at the bar(packed) and the wait would be no longer than 45 minutes. No thanks. I am convinced they were taking the walk-in’s and prioritizing them with those with«reservations.» Waste of time.

Crazy expensive. I had built up my expectations and was really looking forward to the dinner. Unfortunately found the food to be average and the prices very expensive for lack luster food. Our bill with tip came to $ 190 with tip for the two of us. We only had one drink each at $ 10 each, one appetizer, 2 small and not particularly good salads, a 12 oz steak each, 2 small sides and a small dessert. Always was curious about going here, but it will be a one and done lifetime experience for me.

Hate to write this, but have to after the bad experience last night to be fair to the other reviews. Usually go here 2 – 3 times a month and even hand out the gift cards here(8 of the $ 100 alone for Christmas Presents) and given out to business associates about 14 – 16 during 2015 as well. Have raved about this place before, but last night I was snake bitten badly as was the wife. We arrived about 6:45 and the reservation was not in the system even though Open Table had the email, no problem; space at the bar. Bad mistake on my part, the bar has some issues there I learned. We waited another 20 minutes before we had the young lady at the bar finally get out drink and appetizer — glad I got the appetizer as it would be the only time anyone would come back to us for the next 30 minutes, no bread. 30 minutes later asked about getting our order taken as no one came back and our drinks had been empty for a while at the bar, finally had the other male bartender take the order after I refilled the drinks walking up to the bar(we were at a table). So looked around and noted we had 2 other empty tables beside us so no real rush for us. Waited, 2 empty drinks again 45 minutes later — Calamari appetizer is dead cold, no bread and no main courses still not ready. Went up to the bar and they said it should be out shortly. Not great for me, I then went to the hostess and asked where is our food from 45 min ago, were starved and ready to just pay for the appetizer and drinks and go elsewhere as I could hear the wife’s stomach growling — not a nice thing for a spouse to hear — does get one angered and defensive much more quicker than normal. The young lady who was a manager came over five minutes later and said the food was delayed and would be there shortly. 5 more minutes and we got food, just not ours. Another 15 minutes — got ours, but only half right — they accidentally substituted shrimp and grits instead of her sea bass. I was so starved I didn’t bring up the fact that my steak was not even close to sizzling(med cold) and the fries were ICECOLD in front of the wife since I needed to her eat. 20 min later the sea bass finally arrived, they comped the fish and a free desert for the trouble, but honestly — after that comedy of errors would anyone be alone in not wanting to ever repeat that again??? The male bartender really screwed up the order(he wrote shrimp and grits when the wife stated SEABASS) and apparently delayed it, then forgot to ever pick it up for 20+ minutes I later learned from another. As one who has gone here before I honestly felt the worst since I really expected them to perform and when you put out $ 150 a meal, you do tend to have some lofty expectations — not a 3 hour repeat of Gilligan’s Island at a restaurant. Guessing the waitress/bartender didn’t notice I only barely ate three small bites of my steak and just nibbled on the cold shoestring fries(more like small chips) in light of the other fun. Big lesson learned — don’t eat at the bar tables, chances are that everyone around five other tables gets served ahead of you and get’s their food long before you… I can justify that statement.

Best meal we’ve ever had! I ordered the NY strip cooked medium-rare, and my husband had the ribeye cooked the same, both were amazing! It was our anniversary and Jeremey was our server, and he was so awesome. He provided us a complimentary BBQ shrimp appetizer that was delicious, along with 2 desserts in celebration. When you go to RC, you have to expect to drop some serious money, but it is truly amazing and worth every cent. We will be back, maybe for next year’s anniversary!

Brought clients here for my latest foray in. The staff is welcoming, efficient, and courteous. Everyone is laser focused on providing an exceptional client experience. The food was great, prepared properly, and right in time. The table service staff was attentive and timely, but very precise as to not interrupt the business meeting that was taking place. Always on point! I’m a fan of this ovation and highly recommended this location as a solid performer!

We enjoyed dinner there last night. We go to this location several times each year. The food is awesome love the crabtini, broccoli au gratin and the steak. Simply great service and one incredible young lady tending the bar who knows how to make Darcy night with her new friend Marcy. It’s a great spot for a date night. Have dinner and drink in safety. If you have a little too much drink or food just get a room right there in the Embassy Suites.

We visit Ruth Chris often and always have a wonderful experience. This time our waitress was Susan, and she was delightful. Upon this visit we ordered the porterhouse steak, mashed potatoes, onion rings, and drinks. This restaurant is one of my favorites as we celebrate anniversaries, birthdays, etc. here. When we received the steak it was a little under cooked, and their were so much gristle it was literally impossible to cut the strip side. I explained the situation to Susan and she completely cleared the table. The sides were wonderful but the table was cleared. We had options as to what we wanted but we chose to have another round at the porterhouse since it was our favorite. She not only brought out another steak, but all he sides too. They wanted our experience to be remembered for the good. They truly care about your dining experience, and we understand that their are just bad cuts of meat and that was out of their control. We will be back soon.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at Ruth’s Chris a few weeks ago. Susan, our server was very attentive and took great care of us. The food came out sizzling hot and delicious! The calamari appetizer was very good and fresh. The wedge salad was large enough to share with freshly made blue cheese dressing. The steaks, of course, were wonderful. We will definitely go back and bring guests.

Went here for my birthday dinner this week. The food was great and our waitress was awesome. I ordered the crème brûlée for dessert and after two bites a long piece of hair was in the middle of it. My dessert was comped off because I did not eat it but that was all. After spending almost 300 dollars after a tip I would have thought a little more would have been done. Working in the restaurant industry for years I would have done a little more.

We received the best service for our anniversary last night by our waitress Susan. She made us feel like we came to the right place to celebrate. There is nothing special on the menu besides the steak. The steak is perfect, be sure to ask how the steak will be before ordering, they do not press weights on the steak while cooking so ordering«medium» will come out more rare than what you’ll find at your average steakhouse. The crème brûlée with fresh berries was delicious!

Yep! As good as it’s gets in Kennesaw! I was honored to dine at this location twice. The first time my husband and I were invited by a vendor. OMG! What an AWESOME meal! I enjoyed the lamb chops. I have to say that I absolutely LOVE lamb. These were the best lamb chops that I have ever eaten! For real! In Kennesaw, GA! My husband had an absolutely wonderful steak. We also enjoyed a bottle of wine. Funny, the wine wasn’t over priced at all. Don’t let this place fool you. Even though the Ruth Chris is in a Hotel, It does NOT disappoint!

It’s alright. It is definitely one of those restaurants that you would only go a few times a year because of the price. However, the steak is always perfectly cooked and the service is pretty good. If anything I feel like I could get the same steak at Longhorns for half the price!

A very dear friend wanted to treat me to a decadent dinner for my birthday, and if you’re looking for decadent in Kennesaw, Ruth’s Chris is the place to go. Don’t be fooled by the co-location with Embassy Suites, because this spot is fancy schmancy– complete with dim lighting, white tablecloths and valet parking($ 3). While everything we had was fine, nothing rose up to the level of remarkable that I expect when you’re dropping $ 200 for dinner for two. We started with the calamari, which was a nice mix of mini rings and tentacles, but doused in a sweet pepper sauce that added an air of General Tso’s to the taste. When an appetizer’s price tag is $ 14, I don’t want anything that reminds me of take-out. For sides, the steamed asparagus with hollandaise and the potatoes au gratin were the family-style items we chose to share, and they were merely average. The asparagus were just what the menu stated — plain asparagus steamed. No seasoning, no butter(and Ruth’s Chris usually LOVES some butter), no finish under the broiler to get crispy or with a sautee to get some color. Just plain olé steamed asparagus, slightly mushy. The accompanying hollandaise was good though. The potatoes au gratin seemed like a side that had been pre-made offsite and arrived frozen — they were almost too evenly and perfectly sliced The steaks were amazing. But, they should be, when you’re topping out around $ 50 for a 16oz rib eye. Finally, the dessert. At $ 9.50/slice, the chocolate mousse cheesecake was a mountainous concoction. But I was slightly shocked when I tasted the accompanying garnish and found it to be a pile of whipped topping(aka cool whip) rather than real whipped cream. Ew. Overall, the service was good, but I was disappointed that, given the fact that I was unwrapping birthday presents while we were seated and my date clearly said that we needed a dessert menu for a birthday dessert, that the server didn’t pick up on the fact that it was my birthday(or at least, that we were celebrating something). In sum, my meal, with the exception of the steak, was about what I would expect at a really good Applebee’s or O’Charley’s. And despite being a wannabe foodie, I don’t have a problem with either of those spots. However, with a price tag of nearly five times what you’d pay at either of those places, I can’t say that I’d recommend Ruth’s Chris.

Excellent service and food. Every thing was great from the moment we walked to the moment we were seated. We were seared right next to another couple. I did not understand why they did not put us at an empty table a little further away. The place was not very busy. Any way. The lighting in the place is a little too dim if you ask me. Food was great. Expensive but great. I had the filet. It was cooked perfect and tasted great. We also had the sweet potato casserole and onion rings. Both were outstanding. This is a great place and I loved it.

I’ve dined at the sandy springs location a few times over the years, but since they have closed to relocate to Alpharetta, we chose this location. Everything about the meal was outstanding. My filet was cooked perfectly, the service is exactly how it should be, attentive, but not overbearing. Some of the servers are from the sandy springs location, working there until the new location opens.

$ 134 for 3 short-pour drinks and a way-underdone NY strip split between the two of us. Lyonnaise potatoes were the highlight. Calamari was largely forgettable, and noticeably less flavorful than at my local RC in Woodland Hills, CA. Downgraded from my previous 3 star review. The bad news is, where else do you go for a real steak in the Kennesaw area? Sadly, Ruth’s is the only game in a 15 mile radius, and we’re talking only 3 stars. Outback may be a better choice, especially considering value.
