While I shop here weekly, this is one of the worst Costco stores I have ever been to. The pharmacy staff are not empowered to check a customer out even if it is super late and there is no one waiting in line. The pharmacy here also has different policies than any other store I have been to(in 20 states and counting) and getting the 1 or 2 kind staff member in that department is like winning the lottery. The store is always busy and the customers are insanely pushy and greedy, sending each kid up to take 4 samples while mom and dad stuff their faces standing in the middle of the aisle. I watched a guy walk right in front of an elderly lady and snatch the sample she was waiting on because, who knows, day ending in Y in the atrocities(tri cities). We shop here because it is the only Costco around. The folks who work in member services, ID checkers and tire center are kind — 5 stars for them. This store does have a decent supply of organic food — eat the fresh, though, because that local Pasco CRF frozen food just might kill you.

This review is about the Costco Tire Center. I’ve only had two dealing with Costco Tire Center and both were terrible. Last fall I took my 2014 Toyota Corolla Sport in and asked for new all seasonal radials and bought the set the guy at the counter recommended for $ 700. Next day it was slick out and my car was all over the road. Even when I was not accelerating and just driving straight and steady the car would fishtail. My husband came and took my car home. I called Costco knowing they have a great return policy and the manager told me to come in and absolutely I could return the tires. I went in and he looked me up and admitted he had no idea why I was sold that set as all season radials, the ones I bought were for rain. He got on his computer to find me a set, after a bit he looked up and said they did not have tires that were rated high enough for my car as Toyota requires high rated tires for my car. He told me no other tire place will be able to sell me good all season radials either, they may say they are good all season radial but they wont be unless I go to Toyota. He told me my tires are very good tires but not for winter, he recommended I buy a set of winter tires and quoted me $ 700. Another set of tires, another $ 700 within a couple days!!! Why didn’t they tell me this before I bought the first pair?! I talked to my husband and we found another tire shop more reasonable and bought winter tires and had them installed there. Come spring I go to Costco again all I ask if for my winter tires to be changed back to the summer tires I had bought there in the fall, not alot to ask right? Well a couple hours later they call to tell me my car is ready and when I get there the guy tells me there is a problem. He says the low tire sensor was found in the bag with the winter tires so I hasn’t been on and it is broken, he shows me. He says my low tire light will be on and has been on. I tell him no it has not been on to which he replies, «Yes, it has you probably just didn’t notice it.» Did I hear right?! Is he saying I’m blind? Would he have said this to absolutely any man standing in front of him?! I drove my car for months without the low tire light on and I don’t let problems go in my car. I drive an hour each way to work daily and work til midnight commonly. I would have seen that light on. I feel like they broke the sensor and tried to cover and blame the other tire shop that put the winter tires on. Then he went on to say another tire sensor is not reading when he scanned it so he isn’t sure if it is broken also or even on the tire. He quotes me a price just under $ 50 each and offers to order them. Why would they scan it after the tires are on, I know nothing about tires but it seems common sense they would do this before changing them or while changing is going on. I talked to my husband and he told me when he took the car to the other Tire Center for winter tires they had specifically talked to him about the tire sensors being legally required to be installed so he knows they did put them in and is sure if they made a point to talk to him about them that they installed them and would have informed him if there was a problem. I love Costco but will never go back to the Tire Center with my car. I looked up their reviews just a little too late for me but saw they have a horrible reputation and learned first hand why. I’m taking my car to the other Tire Center and will eat the cost as I wont let the Costco Tire Center touch my car again!

While its normally a zoo here you can be assured you will be getting a quality product when you come in. This particular review is for the food court. For $ 3.10 I can get a loaded hot dog, a drink and a frozen yogurt. This is half the cost of some places that are only giving you a loaded dog. the value for the price is just amazing and the food is always good quality. If nothing else coming here for lunch is the best thing to do for your wallet as well as your taste buds.

Whenever you go, the store will be busy! Whatever you want, they will have a version of it that is a great value. We went to Costco right as it opened on Black Friday. It was already full of people. We completed all our Christmas shopping and checked out before the masses had made their decisions. We didn’t have a snack as we left. We didn’t eat lunch on the free samples. This is the best place to purchase food, drinks, wine, cars, kitchen remodels, vacations and jewelry. I’m sure there are a lot of other things that are also great deals. AND, of course, Costco gas is always the cheapest around.

I’m a fan of Costco and I do shop here. Seen one Costco seen them all, they are the same. I’m going to address whether you can get an RV up in the parking lot. Don’t even try it. Both access points are sloped very steep. Your RV will possibly scrape bottom. I didn’t see any other place nearby to park and walk over. The other stores around have very small parking lots. Thus, you can’t get your RV up to the gas station, either. My only complaint about Costco is that it’s IMPOSSIBLE to buy ONE item. I suspect that the heating element in the doorway is actually a brain zapping ray and thus once you get into Costco, you will make unnecessary purchasing decisions on things. Starting in April 2016, all Costco stores will start accepting VISA(YAY) and will no longer take Amex.

People love this place. It is always busy, and for good reason! Their products are great, and there are frequently free samples to try in the store! It’s amazing that so many things exist in the space. The lines can get long, but once you’re done, you get to take it all home! The staff is very nice, and that helps with the pleasantness of the buying experience. The gas is a good deal. However, if you have a cashback credit card, it may be better to get your gas elsewhere since Costco doesn’t take most credit cards.

Costco is one of those necessary evils in life. Great products at good prices, generally, but going here always ruins my day. The lines are always too long because they only open half the check stands and why isn’t there Sprite at the soda fountain? Weird.

How about a satellite store in Walla Walla? If not for the 50 miles between me and this store, I’d be here for my groceries all the time and other items. Who doesn’t need the latest techno-gadget? Or 24 of the one item that brought you in to begin with? Bulk. Quality bulk. Does anyone actually walk in here and buy just what’s on your list and not one thing more? Not me. And, let’s be honest. How many of us have had a meal of two on those days with free samples? If you wander around, you can have a three course meal with drinks by the time you’ve sampled everything. Costco: gotta love it, but know thy prices. Not everything is a steal of a deal even for the quality or quantity for that matter.

I feel I have a love/hate relationship with Costco. Every time I step foot inside here I get excited about something new I find. The hate part comes when I find out my total at the register. Costco is great for so many things. Some of the deals you just can’t beat anywhere. I’ve found out that for me to make Costco work for me I really have to know exactly what I’m paying at my normal grocery store to know if the deal is worth while. Come for the great deals, stay for the samples!

Good prices on most items, good place to go for staples. Got our Christmas tree there although I wouldn’t again based on the quality. The best place to people watch! I love getting cheap fast food on the way out too. They have way better churros then Winco.

Costco is always incredibly busy, but the staff is friendly. They have some great services available(such as ink refill and pharmacy) and their prices are great! Their food court has delicious smoothies for under $ 2, but the food court does by take cards, so make sure you bring cash!

I used to be so-so on Costco, but now I am a huge fan and go waaay too often. The key is to have a plan when you go. See my tips in parenthesis, and at the bottom of the review. My favorite things: 1. Their return policy… just bring it back. Don’t need a receipt or a reason. If something is not working for you, that is ok. I have seen salad and bread brought back(TIP: I had a friend who used to work in the meat department. A co-worker, with pride, said he would expect a «member» to bring back the meat if he didn’t like it… so bring back whatever you don’t want). 2. Food court… it is cheap, good food. Not a huge selection(TIP: Know what you want, and tell them. Pay in cash because they don’t take debit. Be ready to grab your food and change). 3. Food samples. 4. Clothes… they have really good deals(TIP: If you see it, and think you might like it, buy it! Some of those items are such good deals that the item the following weekend. Remember, you can always bring it back.) 5. Good food. I appreciate eating good, quality food. I stock up on burgers, bacon, fruits and vegetables. 6. Deals on other items… Keep your eyes open. I bought a Yeti style ice chest that would have cost $ 450 at the local sports store… my price $ 250. Fishing pole…$ 40 with reel that would have been $ 70 at local sports store. They sell only quality items, and they discount it as low as they can. I once heard someone on the radio say that Costco aims to charge an extra 19% above wholesale. Many places charge 100% above retail. Here are a few more tips: Have your card ready. Have it ready when you walk in the store, and when you are ready to pay. In fact, when paying put it on the first item. Stay on the outer edges of the store. There are 4 main aisles. Use the ones on the outer edge to avoid people. Pick a check out line, and don’t stress about it. It looks long, but you will get through it quick enough. Just think about all the money you are saving. Finally, don’t give up on this place. I did the first few times I went, but a co-worker was always wearing nice clothes and he mentioned that he got them at Costco cheap. I started shopping at Costco again, but now I do it with a plan. Now that place, which I agree can be a zoo, is easy to shop at and saves me tons of money.

This place is worth going to… But only once in a while. Always rapingly busy. They don’t take debit cards. For as much money as we know the staff makes, they sure are condescending and assy to customers. But, the demo people are nice, clean, and thorough, and the deals are good. I’m especially fond of getting them to make my photo canvasses. But, I can also get those mailed to my house, to just bypass the crowd altogether.

I really like Costco, but this particular warehouse is a zoo. People swarm the place, and behave rudely in the parking lot. Workers here seem a little harried, but still pleasant enough. The pizza we bought at the food service court was a little saucy and salty, but the service was still quick and friendly. Staff get a five star, but patrons get just one. Again, the parking lot…

Costco is always such a mad house and they definitely need another one in Tri-Cities. Maybe a Sam’s Club. They have really started focusing on Organics, my family really appreciates this as we are always focusing on eating healthier. Thank you Costco for moving in the right direction and answering consumers requests.

Costco in Washington is the same as in California. Friendly service and busy inside as usual. The downside was the pizza oven wasn’t working so we couldn’t grab a slice. Opted for a hotdog instead. Yummy!

I hate the place — it is way over rated. Too crowded with clueless people blocking isles and morons driving through the parking lot. The gas pump lines move at the speed of a Los Angeles freeway at 5:00PM. Not worth the membership fee.

I love Costco. SO many things to see and not enough to buy :( I just love doing the walk around in here sometimes though. Great deals on meats and bulk items.
