Pretty good, not the fastest service because there’s usually only one server but the food is worth the wait.

They have a really great selection of sushi. I tried the Rainbow roll first and absolutely love it! My husband had the Seattle roll also which is your basic sushi roll. I would suggest trying those rolls topped with a sauce, they are my fav!

Delicious sushi, fantastic staff and atmosphere, and all-around wonderful place to be. They are happy to work with you, food is fresh and great-tasting, and quick.

I like sushi, as a number of my reviews attest. I’ve made sushi at home, read up on how to make sushi and generally enjoy the whole Japanese food and sushi experience. I hope someday to go to Japan and try their sushi bars. Sushi Mori is a very decent sushi restaurant. Small, maybe a dozen small tables, but well laid out it provides pretty decent sushi for the price. Sushi is all about the rice and Sushi Mori makes decent tasting rice; slightly sweet with a pleasant mouth feel. Their fish is fresh with a clean taste with reasonable prices to make the overall experience good. My wife and I also like the bento plates which feature good portions, lots of variety(some sushi, gyoza or eggroll, salad, sop etc.) and fast service. All of their dishes are available for takeout which is the only option if you come in near closing. Recommended for your sushi fix…

Service is meh, food is meh. But with such limited sushi spots in the tri cities I’ll be back… but maybe just for to go.

My wife and I showed up 40 minutes before they close, we were told they would not serve us, take out only. They had several full tables, there was only two of us. I cannot judge their food, but I consider that bad service.

I would have given this place four stars but we had bad customer service today which really turned us off. We have always had good consistent sushi from here and we’ve been loyal customers for 7 yrs. Usually we order from Subs n Jeans because we are by the Hanford area and when Subs is closed we order from Mori. This evening we ordered $ 150.00 worth of sushi. We have never spent less then $ 100.00 and we usually order the same things. We had ordered rolls, nigiri and the fish rice to go, in total about 10 different items. When my husband got home I saw that they forgot 2 spider rolls that were $ 18.00. I called to let them know that we were missing the 2 rolls and the woman told me, that I was wrong. She said she was right because she was there packing the food. I told her, did she think we were trying to rip them off after I just spent $ 150.00? I told her we’ve been customers there for 7 yrs. and we’ve ordered the spider rolls there every single time. I know what it looks like! I lived in California and I know what the different types of sushi rolls there is. She kept telling me I was wrong, so I told her well why don’t I just bring all of the sushi back so you can count it all for yourself??? She finally said that they would start another order of spider rolls but reluctantly. I told her just forget it. It made me upset to think that this lady would think that we are trying to rip them off for $ 18.00 after we have spent thousands at this place over all these years. Not only that but we would have to drive all the way back there and we are by Hanford High! I told her to forget it and that it would just be better for us to lose the $ 18.00 and take our business to another place that cares about loyal customers and has good customer service. We feel that there aren’t that many good restaurants in the Tri-cities so we usually go with a restaurant with good food and great customer service. It’s sad to think that they just don’t care about good loyal customers and honestly I do like their sushi. It’s decent and at a decent price.

Adore this little gem! So glad that we have good sushi and Japanese food here! Totally love the Cali crunch too but my family goes nuts for their Vegas roll(fried with cooked salmon), ichi roll(eel with this crazy good eel sauce that tastes like teriyaki), and geisha(fried with cream cheese). Also they had a very flavorful udon which is awesome because there are many Japanese places that don’t have udon. Lunch bentos are very affordable and I think this is place is so yummy and delicious without being super pricey like other sushi places. Also shoutout to Izaak for always being incredibly patient with my family during our Sunday lunches.

Used to be my favorite sushi place until I discovered Sakura which is excellent. I was disappointed my last two visits — the portions seem smaller and I think the food is always fresh but the taste was just not quite as great as I recall. Mainly disappointed in the portion size. I do like this place and gave it a 4 star, but it is no Sakura and not my first choice for sushi.

The side salad was crunchy and very refreshing(maybe the best dish I had here). The spacing between tables could use some«air». My chair was just a couple inches from from the opposite person. It was a little awkward trying to tune out the other couple’s conversation… Other than that, the service was surprisingly fast considering the restaurant was full and people were waiting outside all aided by ONE waiter.

Coming from Hawai’i, it’s super hard to find a sushi place that meets my standards. Especially in eastern Washington. The servers are nice, but don’t really engage with the customers. We were greeted upon entering, which I liked; however, didn’t give us any type of direction. Then we kind of awkwardly stood there for a minute until we decided to seat ourselves. Although our server was nice, only saw him 3 times after he sat us: 1. To take our order, 2. To give us our food, 3. To give us our check. Not once did he come by to refill our waters or ask how our food was. Anyways, fast forward to the food. I ordered the Las Vegas and Geisha rolls. Their ahi looks super fresh, and didn’t taste old, which is definitely a good thing. I think that was the one thing I was worried about since we’re nowhere near any type of ocean. The Vegas roll was too heavy for me. It had cream cheese and was also deep fried. So it became a burden to finish. Also, the rice in this roll seemed to be a bit mushy for my liking. This roll was $ 12.95, which I think is way overpriced. The Geisha roll was pretty good, and just that roll was a lot, but I still think $ 12 was a bit of a long stretch. I’d probably just go back for the ahi nigiri.

Our favorite sushi place in town. This is not Seattle or Portland but they do have great rolls and nigiri. I also like their quick service. I am a regular there and am happy to support this establishment.

We love sushi Mori so much they know us by name and know our order better than we do. Very friendly quick and great price.

Ridiculously over priced with the smallest servings of fish I’ve ever seen. The sashimi was practically translucent. Waste of money.

Bad, bad sushi with an insane price tag. This is generally what to expect in Tri-Cities/e WA, but this is crazy. We left with $ 60 to-go bag that weighed nothing. Got home to find little grocery store sushi boxes, some of which were old – definitely pre-rolled. Very small rolls, bad sauces, over-vinegared sushi rice, and the least fish I’ve ever seen in sushi rolls. We regretted not buying pre made sushi from Costco, which is something we never do. Sushi is my favorite. Been to a lot of sushi joints. This is the worst I’ve ever had. If a halfway decent sushi place opened here, I’m not sure if Tri-Cities would know the difference, based on these glowing reviews for trashi. Didn’t get sick, so I gave two stars instead of one.

I am a loyal customer of 4 years and know the owners very well. I’d like to apologize for any of you who had a bad experience in the past. For the people that are comparing the food to others. Last time I checked there different restaurants that have different cooks and recipes. All sushi joints are family owned and not corporate chains. They all probably use family recipes. That’s what separates businesses. When you complain about the prices, I laugh. Because, the prices are very similar to everyone else in the Tri-Citie. In fact, sushimori’s rolls are actually bigger than most places, so you do get your moneys worth. If you go to a big town, expend to pay $ 10-$ 12 rolls. For the person that saw the Costco salmon, they do serve salmon teriyaki. For the person that’s complaining about servers doing homework. Shame on you for discrediting someone getting an education while learning how to earn money and have a job. I’m sure most of you were like that at one point in your life. Going to school, trying to earn money and survive financially. I know plenty of high school kids that don’t do their homework, don’t have a job. Those kids you should complaint about. That’s who we are leaving the future to. Sushimori is not just sushi. They do offer a selection of teriyaki and yakisoba for those narrow minded people who do not want to try sushi. One bad experience should not keep you from going back. So come back, get to know the owners because they actually appreciate their customer and know the regulars by name.
