I got the lunch buffet. It was good the salads were a bit old but once they switched them out it was tasty. Fair for the lunch buffet price. Would go again. Bartender was great!

Great drinks — the mozzarella bread– the Caesar — the deep dish pizza and add that up with amazing service from Lynesa … A really good place with classic rock music playing

Sorry, but I have gone to this place twice and the service is always poor. One of those times I invited my family to celebrate my birthday and they wanted us to sit at separate tables. To make matters worse our food was cold. :(One plus are their drinks. I wrote an email to them to voice my concerns but never heard a response. I really wish we had better service and experience.

The buffet was a fail. No plates, no salad, cold pasta, no pizza. Not a good impression.

This was our second trip to The Rock, and I have to say it was just as satisfying as our first!
He had The Rock Burger this time — according to him it was perfectly cooked, the bacon was crisp, and it was an overall great burger.
I had a pizza again, but this time topped with crushed garlic, broccoli florets, and sundried tomatoes (they even added several basil leaves on there for no charge for some reason — score!) Finally, I had a blackberry lemonade to wash it all down and it was very tasty!
Of course, our meal started with mozz bread (again) which ended up taking up too much space in our stomachs prior to consuming our actual entrees. I hate when that happens! But that appetizer is damn GOOD!
Service was right on; we had Allison on this particular evening and she was extremely friendly!
I do want to say this following my two A+ experiences: all of these negative reviews really bring me down! They make me sad to read, and I feel like they cannot even be about the same restaurant.
I am not sure what is going on with such polar opposite experiences, but I hope things resolve soon. I would really like it if everyone loved The Rock as much as we do!

I love the theme here and think pizza is great but unfortunately this wasn’t the first time my food was luke warm when I got it… I’ve tried a few things on the menu other than pizza but I recommend sticking with this pizza as long as it’s hot.

I had high expectations when going to eat here a couple of weeks ago. The curb appeal looks great and it is located in a convenient part of town. I sat at the bar and the customer service was average. They were helpful with recommendations, and i was steered towards the pizza.
I was really disappointed in the food. The pizza sauce tasted like watered down tomato paste — something i could easily make at home. My opinion about this restaurant was validated by my colleague who lives in town. He stated that this is a good place to go for a beer on a non-​busy night, bur not a place to go for food. Choose any of the neighboring brewpubs and you cant go wrong.

This is probably my favorite chain in the Tri-​Cities. The décor and environment are fun and exciting and the food and service are also really great! We got the Money chicken sandwich and the Fish and Chips. Both were prepared to perfection. Beer battered fries are super tasty! Be sure to bring your ID to sit in the cool lounge– I forgot mine but will definitely be back! Great for families, friends, or just a night out with your significant other!

What a fun place to take a break on the drive from Bend, OR to Spokane. The atmosphere was fun, the service was awesome, the Rock Steady Red Ale was delicious and the Founders Pizza was yummy! The only reason it didn’t get five stars is that the pizza could have been cooked for about one minute more.

There’s a reasons this place lacks more than 2 or 3 stars from Unilocalers. There are MUCH better places in town to get the American staple they sell… burgers, pizza, pasta, beer. It might look all cool and themey but that’s about where the wow factor stops. Of the several times we’ve tried this place, we have never walked out happy. The food is beyond so-​so; mostly overly salted and greasy and nothing to rave about. Service is hit or miss and even worse in the upstairs bar. Don’t waste your money on the bucket drink; it’s a rush of sugar and that’s about all it tastes like.
Each time we drive by, we… keep driving by. Damn, it’s wasting a great location too.

Bad food. Gluten free pizza barely had any cheese (like literally only a small amount in the very center) and pizza came out cold, even though one out of two that we ordered had burnt crust. Toppings were very skimpy. I had the gluten free lasagna the last time we were there and it was disgusting — it had some sort of doughy chunks in it that tasted bitter and actually tasted similar to the pizza crust, so I wonder if it was GF pizza dough in the lasagna. The ceasar salad was gross too — tangy food service type dressing. We won’t be back.

We really, really try to like this place. The staff are always incredibly funny and kind. The atmosphere is great. And the food is wonderful. But it takes sooooooooo long to get it. Today we waited well over 45 minutes, maybe longer. We had to ask for our checks before the food even came because we were ready to just go. Our waitress never came by to check on us after it did arrive, and only asked if we needed refills before we left.

This is an updated review — since my first review the service and the food have kind of gone down hill. So Disappointing! My husband went a few nights ago to try it out and he said that it was such a bad experience that he would never go back. things to know if you go to this restaurant: Cons: very slow service, sometimes they forget you are even there… food is just ok… drinks are very watered down. food isn’t cheap here. Pros: very cool atmosphere, it is a large restaurant, the bar is separated from the dining area (some ppl like that), usually not a long wait for a table but it could be because of the cons I listed.

I used to come here all the time for the burgers, and the pizza. After a brief hiatus, I came back tonight, and ordered a Burger man burger.
Upgraded to the half pound, from quarter pounder. When I finally got my burger it was dried out, and the buns were different (not even cooked this time like they usually do in the grill). The buns were huge, and seemed like they bought it at winco, not the normal.
My burger was a small tiny puck in this huge oversized bread, I asked the waitress if she was sure this was the ½ lb burger? And she confirmed it! I was shocked! Burger was way over cooked and felt like a hard puck. I took a few bites and pushed it away. Smh. She finally came back to ask if everything was ok, I said no and asked for check. She could tell I was upset.
She worked on my order, and noticed the manager came over to help her remove the burger, not once came to ask me what was wrong. Just brushed it off. I was only charged my beer. I tipped the waitress cause none of it was her fault, I blame the cook and management. Never will recommend this place again. I’ve put up with burned burgers before because they were so good, but whoever orders the frozen patty burgers now… you ruined some thing great. I had to go some where else to eat. thanks for that

We gave this place a chances with an «s.» Sadly there is something seriously missing here. Within past few weeks, we went here twice. The first attempt things were a bit slow, but the pizza tasted like cafeteria food. It really came down to the cheese being of poor quality.
The next visit was much worse. I ordered chicken wings, and they came out raw. Seriously pink and cold in the middle. They asked if they could take them back and make me new ones, naw. The manager came out to say, «The kitchen did not use a thermometer like they were supposed to.» He took off the wings and give us some free fries. Well, I was certainly not paying for a plate of wings when I ate one cold raw wing. Free French fries, thank you very much for the caring so much about my health. The waitress was friendly at least, hence the two stars. Too bad, this place could be so much better if they cared.

Unfortunately I was not a fan of this place. The redeeming quality is the pizza was pretty solid, but everything else I just wasn’t impressed with. It feels really commercial and for the price id rather find something else.

I had the California Dreamin’ Pizza– it was actually good but the wings were DOG FOOD. My husband has eatten Wings all over and said hands down these were THE WORST he had ever had (and he’s eatten wings from a gas station) He didnt even finish them which was a first.
The server was under trained — no plates, no sauces — She was very nice though

We came here today during lunch for the first time to celebrate our 9 year anniversary and were blown away by the great service! The general manager named Ed made us feel right at home, gave us a full tour, a free appetizer, and recommended the lunch buffet! Our servers were kind and attentive, and helped us celebrate in style, even providing us free coupons and another appetizer card when done, we’ll def be back! Protip– The Rock Steady Red beer is AMAZING!

You know how really good looking, pretty people frequently have a bad reputation of focusing on their outward appearance at the expense of things that actually matter like intelligence and kindness, etc? Well this restaurant is kind of like that, very nice on the outside, nicely decorated and a cool interior, but on the things that REALLY matter– food quality and service they just didn’t spend the same amount of time. Perhaps they should have spent less on the architects and interior decorators and more on menu development and server training techniques.
Okay, this is supposed to be a hip, upscale pizza/​burger/​pub food with an edgy vibe. They got the vibe down, but the food– surprisingly bland. I mean it’s pub food, just bread it/​salt it/​deep fry it and that should do it, right? But nope. They manage to make it boring and tasteless. Trust me… I was as surprised as you are reading this. Based on previous Unilocal reviews they seem to be consistent with their mediocrity, with one exception, they seemed to be working on improving their service. They had plenty of servers working the floor and they seemed to be trying and hustling although mine screwed up my order, bringing me an item I didn’t order… but whatever, that stuff happens and they made it right by bringing me the appropriate item (no comp of anything), so it was fortunate that I wasn’t in a hurry. I really only stopped by on a road trip/​passing through to catch my football game and they had TVs showing it.
Their separate bar area seems like a nice place to drink and get sloppy and let’s face it, once you reach your intoxication goal the food would be fine.
All style no substance, I wouldn’t come back anytime real soon.

My friends told me they had been once, it was bad, they thought maybe it was an off day so she tried it again, it was much worse the second time. I wish I would have listened.
The host, a little curly haired blonde, was delightful.
Then, my server completely forgot about me waiting to order (and admitted it).
Meanwhile, off duty bartenders and servers are discussing tables they’ve had walk out on them this week.
As I’m thinking about the same thing.
I order a water with lemon no ice. Comes with no lemon and plenty of ice.
The pizza was terrible. Tastes just like cardboard.
Then, it took forever to get me cashed out. Bad food, bad service, bad combination. For me it’s a no go, and I’ve worked extensively in the restaurant business, so it’s always a bummer to see, and I tried to give the benefit of the doubt. I hope this place improves.
