Really nice lounge bar, will have piano guy once a week. Nice selection of wines. Staff is dressed attractively. Located in decent area downtown.

Absolutely amazing dining experience from the moment we walked in until we left! Had a reservation for 7 and arrived at 6:50; the very pleasant host welcomed us and seated us immediately, leaving us with menus and the drink/wine list to peruse. Our wonderful server, Sara, brought us ice water complete with sliced lemon and said she would be back for our drink order. We discussed what looked good and believe me, it ALL looked good! Soon Sara returned, apologizing for the long wait and told us our first drink would be on the house because we were kept waiting so long. The place was packed, we didn’t feel we were ignored or kept waiting too long. I enjoyed an awesome pomegranate martini and my hubby a Stella Artois while savoring a tasty appetizer of Steak Bruchetta. Hubby stepped out of his comfort zone and had the fish tacos which he loved and I had the Burboun Squash and Blue Cheese Salad with steak. This salad was an unbelievable combination of tastes and I thoroughly loved every bite. We did not partake of the very interesting dessert menu as I decided to savor my dinner and not over indulge. I can’t wait to try the Pistachio Gelato sandwiches on rosemary olive oil shortbread. Well done Mary Radigan and Sazzy B’s, this is how dinner out should be. Can’t wait for coffee at the Buzz in the morning and look forward to dinner again soon. Oh and just need to add, this extremely full restaurant was handled by just two servers, two bartenders and a small group of wonderful support staff! BRAVO!

Great urban atmosphere in the heart of downtown. Weeknight specials are amazing — especially on Wednesdays when wine is half price and hint bowls of delicious pasta creations are just $ 10. Fabulous martini selections, too! Staff is knowledgable and super friendly. Bonus: live music almost every night.

Okay… this may be a long one, so bear with me. This review is from the experience my husband and I had at Sazzy B on Friday night, 1÷15÷16. I will preface this by saying that we have been there before, a few times, and the service and food were both pretty good(for those experiences I would rate them a 3.5−4 stars). We arrived around 8pm without reservations and it was very busy — I believe almost every table in the dining room was occupied and the bar was pretty much full. We were told 45 min. which was totally acceptable and didn’t bother us at all since we didn’t have reservations and it was a Friday night and the place is small. We went next door to have a drink at Buzz café which was very nice and a great way to pass the time waiting for our table. We were sat about 20 min later so we didn’t even end up having to wait the 45 min. This is where it gets bad… We waited almost 10 minutes before any server or server assistant or anyone came over to our table to greet us or ask us for a drink order or anything. I didn’t see any«hustle» or sense of urgency in the serving staff. Finally, we ordered some drinks, and eventually our entrees. My husband ordered the $ 32 filet mignon and I ordered the mahi mahi. He ordered his filet medium and it came out well done. I’m talking not one trace or hint of pink on that filet. We had her take it back and ask for a filet cooked medium. She gladly complied, as she should, but no «Oh my, I am so sorry! Can I get you a dinner salad or another round of drinks on me while you wait?» No offer of anything, no sincere apology — nothing like that. In the meantime, I am not eating my meal because I don’t want to eat alone and have my husband sitting there hungry while he watches me enjoy my meal. When the second filet came out, my husband cut into it and it was rare. I am not exaggerating this, by any means. We waited for our server to come check on us but I ended up having to flag her down.(Side note — she was busy taking a shot at the bar with her fellow servers, bartenders and the host… I almost could not believe my eyes when I looked over and saw that happening amongst all the full tables of patrons not being served because the staff was at the bar taking shots). When she saw the second filet not cooked to the temperature asked, her reaction was a dull«oh, yeah, that’s definitely rare…». So we asked her to take it away and to please take it off the bill. Once again, no sincere, emphatic apology. I worked in the service industry for 5 years serving and bar tending. I would never have left that table without offering a free dessert, a credit to get us to come back, or a round of drinks… SOMETHING to show that you are sorry and would like to see us come back in for another go. This was a terrible experience for us. My husband left hungry and we left with a very bad taste in our mouths. For a restaurant that has a $ 32 filet mignon on their menu, I would expect that the kitchen staff would know how to cook it to the temperature that it was ordered. Won’t be back, which is a shame!

Stopped in early evening on a Wednesday. The bar was pretty popular but their entire dining area was empty. We did not have reservations, we did not think we would need them. The hosting staff told my husband and I that they could not seat us. It wasn’t even 5pm and the entire dining area was EMPTY. We obviously left and went some place else which turned out to be a nice experience. When we returned to our car after dinner their dining area was still mostly empty. They were a bit rude when discussing the reservations and I feel it was a pretty bad business move to kick us out when you have tables to fill. I would never return. I’m from Chicago and I have never had this experience with reservations. I find it amusing that it happened in small town Kenosha.

My favorite bar in Kenosha! They always have great specials throughout the week and the coziest atmosphere, perfect for the cold Wisconsin nights. The selection of drinks, from beer to wine to cocktails, is superb and always offers something new to try and enjoy.

This was my best dining experience in Kenosha in some time. A group of my wife’s relatives gathered for a holiday dinner. The setting/décor while not elegant was comfortable and and featured art works on the walls. We went on Tuesday which meant ½ price appetizers i.e. ‘starters’. I had dates stuffed with chorizo and goat cheese in tomato sauce– fantastic! Our table had 3 other starters that we’re all great. Next I had pumpkin pear soup; again, fantastic. For my entrée I had fish tacos. Again they were excellent; I must say though I had never had fish tacos ever. I did not have any alcoholic beverage but the select was vast. As I understand wine is ½ price on Wednesday. The server was quick and efficient; especially with our multiple checks. I recommend Sazzy B’s without reservation but if you go I would recommend having a reservation. I must say though the adjacent property owners or the city should clear their walks of snow and ice. We went on Tuesday and it was fairly crowded.

Came here on a Monday night with my family as I am in from California. Apparently tonight they had a new chef and new menu. Cozy little bistro, live jazz and a great whiskey/scotch selection. Unfortunately the service and food left a little to be desired. Ordered appetizers, two things of calamari and stuffed mushrooms as well as entrees. At an hour and fifteen minutes had to ask the waiter about the food. Shortly after we were delivered moderately warm to cold appetizers. Spoke to the manager who was kind enough to comp them off our bill and then check on our food. Food came out and mine was hot however my mothers food was maybe luke warm. The manager ultimately comped our meal and apologized. So let’s talk about my food since it was all I ate. I had the Rabbit Pot Pie and paired it with an old vine zin. The pot pie was a little on the small side, was not anything special and I found the crust almost a little stringy instead of fluffy. It was hard to cut even with a butter knife(since they didn’t give me anything else). Overall… the food was mediocre, the service was slow and the ambiance was decent. Hopefully this was an isolated incident because the concept is great.

Food, drinks, service and atmosphere! The afore mentioned is hard to find in Kenosha. This may become my new favorite overall dining experience in town.

Excellent atmosphere(perfect for date night). Our server was very attentive and offered great suggestions for food and drinks. They have a great variety of food choices; perfect if you want to try something new, but not too daring. Only downside was the steak of the day. Mine was about half fat and loaded with sides. I was pretty shocked to see that it was $ 30. Definitely not worth that much, but our appetizers were excellent and my husband loved his burger. Drinks were great, too!

Delicious menu, fantastic drinks and nice atmosphere. I had a classic cosmo(perfect) with the peach and quinoa salad with grilled chicken. My husband had a pork chop with an amazing sauce. We started with crab fitters. Everything was fantastic. I highly recommend it for a great date night. They did have live jazz that my husband thought was too loud, but I enjoyed it.

Fabulous place, friendly staff, and excellent food and drinks. I’m holding back one star because they could improve the appetizers. I got the grilled shrimp cocktail and my mom got the steak bruschetta, both were cold and shrimp was rubbery and bland. The steak was lean and tender but could have been warmer. They make up for it with the entrees, fabulous shrimp salad and Mahi Mahi. Best bloody Mary’s in town!

I had the best meal ever there. The caprice chicken changed my life. Well worth the money spent. This is a great date place. Seriously I had the best meal of my life to date at Sazzy B’s.

I have been here 3 times and had great experiences each time. Good wine selection, amazing brunch menu, and excellent dinner food. On our last visit, I ordered the fantastic caprese chicken, which was fantastic. Also recommend the steak bruschetta!

We drove to Kenosha today for the Farmers’ Market. Afterwards we were hungry and happened upon this place by chance. We are sooo glad we did! My daughter loved it, in fact, we all did. We dropped in around 10:30 for brunch,(we will definitely come back soon for dinner.) We had no problem getting a table, but they had a decent crowd. When you walk in, you get a nice vibe. The space is very inviting, it’s clean and simple with a lot of exposed brick. It’s an old building that has been nicely restored. My wife had the«Big-girl Mimosa», which she said was excellent. I enjoyed a very good Bloody Mary(they had approximately 6 to chose from). My wife ordered the Monte Carlos(ham and fontina cheese between two slices of brandy french toast). It was amazing! My daughter and I split the Big B breakfast. It included: sausage links, bacon, fried potatoes, eggs, fruit, and pancakes; all were cooked to perfection. The service was impeccable. Everyone was friendly, relaxed, and professional. This place has upscale food, and big city ambiance, but with a down-to-earth Kenosha charm. We will definitely be back here soon!

The butternut squash salad. Ughh I’m in love. Winter mixed greens, red cabbage, roasted butternut squash, candied pecans, pumpkin seeds, what else could make this salad better? Not much. I added avocado because why not, and was oh so glad I did. The delicate creaminess of the avocado complimented the crunchy, rich flavors already present. It was heaven. This is a salad that you’ll be proud you ate because it’s both delicious and loaded with good for you ingredients. This is a salad you’ll crave; trust me because I’m craving it.
