Herfy’s

A bit higher quality burgers. The burgers tend to be rather juicy and require napkins. The fries are generally crispy (which is a bummer if your girlfriend likes gooshy fries — but then again it’s more of a bummer for her because I like crunchy fries), good quality overall. But it does take a while to make the food. You might do well to call ahead to order before you leave to pick it up just to shave off a few minutes.
The dining area is clean, sparsely decorated like a lot of small-​time joints end up looking.
So overall you’ll spend more time and a little more money but end up with a better burger? Except it’s a quirky burger and sometimes I’m absolutely in the mood for it and other times I’m more in the mood for a more regularized burger like at Red Robin. I guess RR burgers are the Wednesday evening classic guitar to Herfy’s Friday night saxophone. Neither one is going to rock you so hard you’re woozy Monday morning.

My cheeseburger was reminiscent of company bbq picnic food. Crinkle cut fries were good and crispy. The fry sauce was mostly ketchup and mayo — nothing special and I actually put it in my burger since I found that a little dry and didn’t care for it with my fries.
The shakes are huge and cheap! I got a medium coffee and oreo shake and it was wayyyyyyy too sweet! It may have just been the combo that I chose, but I also didn’t get any thunks of oreo :(THough there was about a half inch of oreo paste in the bottom of my cup when I was done. My friend got a piña colada shake that was much better and had pineapple chunks.
2 stars for the burger and shake. 3 stars for the fries and the service. We came in during lunch time on Saturday and there was a good amount of people coming in and placing orders. There was only one lady working and I don’t know how she kept up! But she got all of the orders out quickly and quality was not compromised.

This was horrible. The lady was rude as hell. I asked for a sauce cup for some sauce and she confronted me and pretty much called me fat in front of 2 family’s of 4 and an old lady. Over sauce… I spent $ 30 for 2 people and I can’t get some sauce. Horrible. Hope she gets fired.

Came here a few months ago about 30 minutes before closing but they were happy to take our orders. Food is good as I remember eating at other herfys.
My review is on the employee that night. My boyfriend took our tired kids back to the car to get them strapped in 5 minutes before our food was done so we can speed up the process of getting on our way. Anyway, food was done & of course being born with only two hands I can only carry so much. The nice young gentleman working that night OFFERED to help me bring out my food instead of having me make two trips. Does anyone do that now a days? He could’ve simply just ignored me and hurried to finish his closing duties but no, he stopped what he was doing and offered to help me. That simple act of genuine customer service is what draws people in coming back. Everyone there was so nice.
I wish we had more cash that night to tip him more than what we did. Plus, he seemed like a high school kid working hard for his money.

We just finished a delicious dinner! Got 3 items, cod dinner was light & crispy, jalapeño poppers & cheese burger, soo good! We’ll be back soon! Also, Sunny is a delight!

Regular burger joint, nothing special. I ordered a mushroom burger. It was more like a cheese burger with some mushroom in it! Do not get this burger if you’re feeling for a shroom burger

Tasty burger, good fries and even better onion rings. As good as red robin for about half the price :) The operator doesn’t do English well, so be careful when ordering on the phone (got a huge burger)

I love eating here! I love getting a regular cheeseburger and fries! It’s the best! I love their chocolate Malts too!

For a burger joint this place was average. Ive eaten here a couple times and I had the bacon cheeseburger that tasted good but nothing special, it wasn’t very juicy and the patty was small. Too much batter on the onion rings and their burger selection is basic and overpriced. Only item i like to eat here is their catfish, which doesn’t have too much batter just the way I like it but next time when I’m craving a big fat juicy burger and don’t wanna travel far I’m going to Red Robin lol.

Very good I got a banana shake it was so bomb! real chunks of banana in it. the burger was on point too!

It’s too bad I don’t plan to EVER go back again because of the owner (think she was the owner or maybe she just took my order, her husband was in the back cooking so an assumption on this part). She did something she should not have because I consider it very inappropriate. I was going there for a meal, it’s a fast food joint so all I wanted was a burger and fries but she decided for some reason it was appropriate to hand me some religious pamphlet. no joke. I felt it was highly inappropriate. We didn’t speak or start up any kind of conversation and I didn’t say anything except for placing my order. So what warranted this action unless she perceived for SOME reason that I need it? either way an eating establishment is not the place for it, if I was entering a religious institution, then that is fine. I don’t find that appropriate at all. It’s too bad because their burgers and fries were fairly decent. I won’t be visiting again. I rather go to Applebee’s or Red Robins.

Great burgers, fries & shakes! I’ve been here a few times and for an out of the way location it’s always busy. Fast service once you have ordered but it is fast food, well maybe a little better than fast food. This is a nice treat but a bit on the expensive side for burgers and fries otherwise it would be 5 stars. I would recommend especially on a hot summers day… It hits the spot!

I have to confess that of all the burger joints in town, I had never heard of Herfy’s. I went in on their pre-​grand opening (in fact it was their first day of operation after being closed for several months). The food was great, the service was amazing and I have to say they make the best shake I think I’ve ever had. Totally would recommend it to anyone.
