Maureen is the best. They have always been very friendly and helpful. Great selection of merchandise. Saw some negative posts about pricing… I am a business man… I have to make a profit… so do they. It’s not a garage sale… I’d be offended if you were trying to lowball me every time.

Was told one price by a nice lady. Asked another employee a question and she was rude. At check out she looked up an instruction on ebay and tried to charge $ 35 for a $ 8 item. Then insisted on arguing instead of listening to the customer. I’d rather shop for games elsewhere.

I usually don’t post on here, but I thought I should say something about my experience at this place today. Stopped by this shop today after seeing an ad on Craigslist for a WCC Toolbox priced at $ 99.99…we offered ½ of the asking price due to the condition and were shot down, which we fully expected. However, it was the way we were shot down that was extremely rude, unimpressive and completely unprofessional! The lady didn’t even offer a counter that she would be willing to accept. Then, I had a cheap hand held casino card gaming machine priced at $ 9.99 that I offered $ 5 for… the same lady again said no that every game machine «always» sells for full price. We have been going to pawn shops for many years purchasing items on the high and low end and every one we go to barter back and forth… had we known you wanted retail prices for your stuff we would have never stopped by!

I purchased a precision measuring tool from Pawn Express via a Craigslist ad. They were very professional, honest and quick with their responses through email. I received the item in excellent condition. It was well packed, as described, on time and for a great price.. about ¹⁄₃ the cost of new. They made paying fast and easy on me through an email link to Paypal. It was nice doing business with them. I would recommend them to a friend

Worst pawn shop I have ever been too. When you walk in it’s like a hoarder’s paradise. What Pawn shop has stuffed animals from a carnival? The large woman with red hair was extremely rude when asked to negotiate with the price of an item and got very angry and shut down any conversation. She has no clue of the value of things and has to refer to eBay to make her decision. They think what they have is GOLD and will only sell if you’re willing to pay their inflated prices. Don’t waste your time with this pawn shop.

As soon as I walked in I was welcomed by smiles! I had previously called In And asked if they had nintendo gamecube a in black. So they put it out for me until I arrived. It was only 29 $. Pretty cheap compared to game lobster or amazon. Once I was there I noticed they had all the good games from my 90s-​00s childhood. I think I’m gonna comeback every payday until I buy everything. Super friendly.

Staff was very friendly and the power tools selection was very reasonably priced. Got a $ 160 retail jigsaw for $ 48. They let me test it before I left, so I know it was running straight. Tools I got were all corded to specifically avoid issues with drained/​bad batteries.
WIll visit here again for more.

if i could give less than 1 star i would.
i’ve done lots of business with pawn express in the last 5 years or so. but they have absolutely atrocious costumer service. not only that, but nearly everything they sell is overpriced. higher than original retail! i’ve had a bit of a tiff with them since i liked their facebook page, and i noticed that alot of the stuff they were posting was WAY overpriced, such as video games/​accessories powertools and most recently jewelry. they posted a listing on facebook for a tungsten carbide ring, today, and they were asking 60 dollars for it, and i found the exact same ring on amazon for 19 dollars. i’ve pawned 2 14k gold rings and got less than 60 dollars from them, if i didn’t know better i would think they weren’t even giving me fair pawn value. but after posting the link to the ring on amazon and telling them they have finally lost my business, and i will be telling all my friends and family to stay away from their, they blocked me from their page, so now not as a vendetta, but for the sake of the consumer im coming to Unilocal to give them an honest review, and i URGE you readers and your friends and family to choose another pawnshop. what these people are doing isnt right, there are many, MANY more respectable family owned pawnshops to go to. please choose one of them.

Well since my last review was removed do to my content. I have to keep it in UnilocalS guidlines on what i can and cant say… This place has the worst horrible costumer service ive ever experienced in my life, yes my life. The owner was very very rude and disrespectful after she messed up a curtain transaction. She first of all lied about the return policy and began yelling. Everything in me wanted to flip out but i have enough respect for my elders know matter what. This individual was an elderly lady doing this in front young employees. Very rude. I recomennd cash america pawn. They definetly know costumer service.

I have never in my life been to a place where customer service is not the top priority. Their customer service needs a lot of help and training. I am very disappointed. These people are liars and will do anything to get your money. They have no interest in your needs and are not concerned with helping you out. I will never return to this establishment and I hope you don’t waste your time either. I will tell every person I know that this place is a piece of shit!
