Pizza Hut

I ordered their summer special, 2 pizzas, bread sticks and a dessert. I ordered the pizzas with extra sauce. The pizzas had no sauce and both were very badly burnt. I called and complained, and was offered a credit for the same at a later date. I ordered the same thing last night, 1 pizza was fine, not burnt and with sauce, the 2^nd had no sauce and again was very burnt. I called to complain again and this time spoke to a different manager «Anna», who informed me that they had a great cook. Really??? How hard is it to not burn a pizza and actually put sauce on them. This manager is delusional about the quality of food she is serving. How do you justify putting a burnt pizza in a box and not notice or care??? This manager Anna tried to tell me the pizza was not burnt just brown, how would she know, I am the one looking at it, and in my mind a crust that is the color BLACK is burnt. Don’t wast your time or money on this Pizza hut, especially if Anna is the manager.

Here is what went down when i ordered from this Pizza Hut location. Since i just moved to this area, i wanted some Pizza. Saw Pizza Huts deals were better than papa johns and domino’s at the time & thought i’d order here. I ordered my first meal here a week ago & then i had this weird thought to check the reviews on this place while i waited for my food to arrive. I was scared s!@#less while reading reviews. Undercooked? Unwanted meats & toppings? Oh my!
So my order finally arrived 10 minutes late but the food surprisingly looked GREAT! No kidding it looked like it was prepared right & just to let you all know, i ordered at 10:30pm on a friday. I also ordered a side with it & the side tasted alright. But somehow the pizza when biting down on it seemed off. It took me awhile to figure it out but i had SAUSAGE on my pizza! I NEVER ordered sausage. I really hope they didn’t get beef and sausage mixed up because that was what was missing & you as a pizza chain are suppose to when out of a topping, reimburse the customer some money instead *since my toppings costed extra*. But instead i get sausage. Not happy. But overall i liked the food.
Sadly the happy thoughts would turn into sad ones. The next day i started feeling ill but not bad and then the day after that i began to feel a tummy bug coming on. I thought to myself «What is this? What did i eat?» Then i remembered my pizza & then the thoughts of reviews saying «undercooked» made me start to realize that i could of been eating undercooked pizza. And when i say tummy bug sick, i mean i threw up… and it ruined my day. This has actually happened at a different Pizza Hut location that i reviewed not too long ago & it was the same symptoms. So wala, i discovered that i’ll never be dinning or eating a Pizza Hut’s pizza ever again. If one location made me sick & now another location made me sick, there is obviously people «cutting corners» with their food & prep at Pizza Hut. So i warn who’ever is reading this, PLEASE stay away from this location. Papa Johns is my favorite pizza chain and they’ve never left me unsatisfied. Also i’ve never been sick by them ever in my 10+ years of eating pizza from them. Domino’s aint bad either. DONT EAT FROM PIZZA HUT! Period.

I made my order to pizza hut on the night of April 29^th. I was unfortunate to not find and sauce the my cinnamon sticks. I tried to call and tell them of their mistake. But to my dismay i was on hold for over 30 minutes. I eventually just made another order to talk with a real person. And continued to stay on the line in hopes of talking with an actual person. But my new order showed up and when i told him what happened he did nothing to try and ease my pain. No offering of anything. All i can say is this is a very shotty operation being run here. My second order was not correct either. All my pizza eating years of life on this planet and this was by far the worse experience i have encountered

So we have ordered from this location many more times than one. I wanted to give them a chance because I know sometimes mistakes happen. I work in food, they do. But repeatedly our order has been either completely wrong, underdone or had meat on it (we are vegetarian) it’s disappointing. Sometimes we let the mistakes go a few times we called and complained. Unfortunately we will not be returning again. Too many times this has happened.

I order here all the time. Always seem to talk to Jeff, Idk if he’s a manager, but he’s extremely helpful in a crazy situation, and is always nice! Couldn’t use my online coupon and I was mad, called in thinking they’d act like I was lying, any long story short, the guy really worked hard to make sure we were satisfied and fixed my coupon situation!

Ordered online and only took them 20 mins to be delivered! He was very polite. The pizza looks amazing!!! Beautifully made and delicious. The toppings beautifully placed on and it was devoured within seconds! Looking forward to our next order ^_^

I’ve recently had foot surgery, so I was looking for something quick. I’m sorry. This Pizza Hut has been going downhill quickly over the past two years, but I thought I’d give them another chance. I ordered Pan crust — either it wasn’t Pan or wasn’t done. Speaking of not done, the cheesy breadsticks weren’t done. They we’re terrible, actually… almost as bad as the pizza. If I could give negative stars with evil death ninjas, I would. I would call them to complain, but what’s, the use? PH is officially off my munchie list. Little Caesars is getting pretty good.
Tacos. I should have ordered tacos.

That was disgusting!!! First of all I felt like I was eating flavored bread. I ordered extra sauce on one pizza and they hardly put any sauce or cheese on it. On my second pie, I ordered ham, and BBQ SAUCE. No ham on my pizza either! What a horrible dinner. And when I called back, after waiting for over 20 minutes I was hung up on.

If I could do 0 stars I would. It must start with poor management because the employees are so poorly trained they have no chance of doing their jobs right. Sometimes getting a free pizza that would have been thrown away doesn’t really matter to the customer. Getting it right the first damn time goes a long way. First and last time for visiting the Pizza Hut. Good luck!

Horrendous food poisoning here. It was a couple days before Christmas so we showed up to Christmas Eve dinner unable to eat, still sick. This place should be shut down by the health department.

This is my first time ordering since they moved locations. I ordered by cell phone online 8÷8÷14 at 8:28pm. 1 cheesy bites pizza. Online said it would be ready 8:43, 15 mins. which surprised me. It was ready in 16 mins. I ordered from the airport and I was there in 5 mins. That’s why 2 stars. It was ready on a busy night. Service was fine. However, this was the flattest pizza I’ve ever had from Pizza Hut. It was not good. Tasted like cardboard. I used to order once a week from the old place and it was really good. I’ve cut back on the pizza to eat better so this was a treat for me. I was disappointed. I have had the cheesy bites pizza before, this was not a good one.

Ordered our pizza over two hours ago (called and asked if there was trouble finding the place and was told. «It’s a 100 minute wait for delivery. They’ll be there soon.» Never mind the online order time was reported as being 45 minutes.) Wouldn’t be a big deal… even though it’s a WEDNESDAY with nothing major going on in the neighborhood, on top of this order being placed at a relatively slow dinner hour… EXCEPT that the last time we got delivery it was late AND the complete wrong order. (WHY did I do this again? Mostly cause I do enjoy some Pizza Hut predictability.)
SERIOUSLY hard to understand when this restaurant has always been a busy store and has always had a healthy order load. I notice several district manager interventions on behalf of this completely awful service here on Unilocal and appreciate that… except…Dear district manager. Quit giving away free pizzas and instead, FIX the nightmare that is this establishment.
In a nutshell. Don’t do it. Pizza Time or Papa Johns will get you your pizza sooner… if you’re feeling creative. Robin Hood will do it too for half the price and with extraordinary service. A-​Pizza Mart isn’t the best of deals but. Darn tasty pizza and MUCH better service.

Well, we had a two-​hour and forty minute wait last night for our pizza. This is a two-​star review because they refunded the cost of our pizza, at least, but it took multiple calls to them to get it all figured out. Apparently they got slammed that evening, but these folks didn’t call to let me know, and a driver got lost and returned to the store without reaching me.
Basically, thank you for the free pizza, but the three hours of calling your store weren’t negligible. Keep your customers posted if you’re running into trouble with either the production or delivery of the food they’ve ordered. If I’d been contacted at least once in the process I’d feel a lot better about the whole experience.

I’m editing my review I was politely contacted by the distract manager who apologized and fixed the problem so I gave the place another chance and the staff was polite and helpful. Food was good. And I’ll definitely go there for pizza from now on. Glad it was taken seriously and the problem was fixed. I recommend this location to anyone who is looking for a friendly place to order good food from.

This is an update to my recent review of this store. I had a bad experience and within twelve hours I was contacted by the district manager who very graciously apologized and I appreciated that. It is nice to see that a big store like Pizza Hut is still looking out for customer satisfaction

I used to love Pizza Hut… Their pan pizza always hit the spot… I ordered a Hawaiian and supreme last week and was very disappointed. I don’t get what happened to their food… Not as great as I used to remember. We ordered from dominoes yesterday and were much happier with their product.

***i have to update my review because I have since used this Pizza Hut and I must say that the service has improved greatly and our usual delivery guy is really nice. **
I cannot believe the terrible service we just received. This is the story they gave us: the driver came to our apartment and knocked on the door and no one answered so they tried to call but the phone went to VM and the mailbox was full. So the driver returned and they threw the product away and voided the payment.
That story I believe 100% is a lie because they were too busy to get our delivery out. I called the VM of the phone they tried and was able to leave a VM no problem. Also– a friend of ours came and knocked on the door and we heard them just fine. Also when I asked to speak with the store manager, as soon as I started to explain he cut me off and began «my driver-​» but then I stopped him and said «are you serious? Are you not even going to let me finish my sentence!!!» He then let me finish and told me that the driver couldn’t get into our building because of the gate code and no one answered our phone. But wait… I thought he knocked and no one heard???
We still considered business and asked how long it would take if they re-​made our order. He said about 45 minutes. I said I don’t want to wait another 2 hours can you guarantee it will be 45 minutes? And he said we say about because it’s an estimate. At that point I was done. Called pizza time and they said 20 minutes.

I walk in at 10:35pm on a Thursday. I stand there for a minute behind this fat guy in plain clothes (no uniform) at the counter, waiting to order. After a while (not immediately when I walked in, mind you), he turns around and very rudely says «we’re CLOSED, buddy,» as if I should have known and I was intruding.
Really? Then why do your hours say Mon-​Thurs until 11:00 PM on the door? Why is your neon OPEN sign flashing above that door? I just wanted some breadsticks and a soda.
Whatever, your pizza sucks anyway. I was interested in the new pizza-​by-​the-​slice you had going on, and probably would have started frequenting my local Portland Pizza Hut for that and breadsticks (the main reason I don’t go to PH is because I rarely want to pay for, or eat, an entire pizza). No more, you just lost a customer for a long time — until the desire for pizza overwhelms my spite and innate sense of justice. It’ll be a while.

If you are looking for something quick and in the local Des Moines/​Kent area I would recommend taking this Pizza Hut into consideration. Service was great and quick, the biggest issue I have is the parking lot. Right now they have a $ 10 any pizza deal which was a nice suprise.

I don’t like Pizza hut. Unfortunately my roommate does… He ordered the Chicken Bacon Ranch/​Alfredo with bread sticks.
We picked up the order. The staff was forgetful and not really paying much attention to the clients in or outside the restaurant. We were definitely just another number.
Once we got the order… I tried the pizza… The dough was soggy! Ewwwww! I am a crust girl. I want a crunchy, solid and flavorful foundation.
The topping was plenty but the crust ruined it all. Had to go home and put it all in the oven. I had to re-​cook the dang pizza! I should have cooked to begin with… Wasted time and money…
I hope other Pizza Huts are better.
This place always seems to be empty inside. Most get order out or delivery. It doesn’t look very welcoming inside. Very dark and depressing… Kill me now! LOL
