A cool place for beer and watch Heels game, but other than that, is a just ok place.
Out of oysters, out of a few desserts, out of my IPA, no decaf, come on.
Our waitress was very friendly, but is not a place that will impressed you.

«She doesn’t take notes, she just remembers.» That only impresses patrons if you get the orders right.
The only thing this place has going for it is that they’re open late on weekdays. That’s why my friends chose there for after an event. 10 of us arrived after 9p on a Tuesday, some earlier than others. By the time I got there a first round was on the table. I ordered the same draft as the person to my left. After a LONG delay, I was served the same mixed drink as the person across from me. I declined it (but he was wanting another and so kept it) & requested again the draft. Server reported that they were changing the keg and I would get a fresh beer. And some time later, she looped back to say that they unsuccessfully changed the keg. Would I like something different? So I ordered a nontypical cocktail, providing a recipe and confirming that they had the ingredients. Another long wait and she tells me they don’t have tequila (which I don’t drink) & they therefore can’t make me a tequila sunrise (not what I ordered).
Fully half an hour after I arrived, with my friends well into their cups, I give up and request ice water. Which they actually not only had but also gave me. Success?
Ordered a mushroom/​swiss burger. By this time I was ravenously hungry, eat-​your-​arm-​off, anything-​will-​taste-​amazing hungry. It was the single most mediocre burger I’ve ever eaten. And we got a bonus basket of fries for the table when the server did randomly drop off a basket, which none of the 10 of us ordered.
When we tried to get the checks, it took easily 20min from requesting them to getting our cards back. Separate checks, yes, but it shouldn’t be that difficult.
So, to reiterate, at least they’re open late. The lack of competition in that time slot may be all that is keeping them in business.

Enjoyed the Saturday Angry Orchard cocktail specials as well as the excellent service our waitress provided us with. However, the food was not great. The ranch was not good, whether house made or store bought I’m not sure. The spinach artichoke dip was very bland and I couldn’t eat it. It took us over 45 minutes to get our food and there were only 3 other parties in the restaurant but when our waitress explained they were short one cook we didn’t make a stink about the wait. I will say we ordered some ice cream for my nephew with chocolate on top and that was pretty good!

I find it funny that half the reviews are written by people who have worked there. Trying to up business much? Went s a few nights ago with my boyfriend. We used to go every Saturday but we started venturing to other places in WS and Gboro. Anywho, we were served by Lisa? She wasn’t bartending but she served us at the bar anyways. No problem with that. Short black hair, very sweet and attentive. Food and beer were good, same as expected. It was busy due to the Panthers game so I was surprised at how fast my food came out. Well the blonde and brunette bartenders, I guess had no interest is asking if we needed anything while we were eating, considering someone else was serving us and they weren’t making tips off of us? But I also had to sit next to a bartenders CHILD. AT THE BAR. She talked to her child, more than her customers. She walked around the bar sticking her tongue ring out of her mouth and clanking the barbell on her teeth. Gross and annoying. Where is Heather O.!? 5 stars for my server and Heather O, cause she’s the shit. 2 stars for the bartenders having horrible customer service. Couldn’t even say ‘hi’ once. :/

I just walked out of JP Looneys in Kernersville nc for the last time. Horrible costumer service. One of the employees told me not to play the juke box. Haha. And this dude that was eating walks up to me and starts yelling me! The vibe in the bar is very trash and my food was under cooked.

Great food! Known for burgers, ribs, & wings. Every Monday is 60cent wing night between 11 – 2 and 6 – 9! Great draft beer, and really good drink specials! Will definitely be back. Oh and the desserts are delicious, (Oreo pie, cheesecakes, and brownies)

Went in for the first time everything was great. The food and service were both wonderful. The bacon cheddar burger was very tasty and the chips were prefect. The best part was the dessert make sure to save room for the Oreo pie.

Great bar. Good food. Has Buzztime, which is a big draw for us. A good place to hang with friends. Great beer selection.

I rarely leave a restaurant as disappointed or frustrated as I left JP Looneys. Our whole experience with our waitress gave us the impression that we were a serious inconvenience to her. She rarely came to our table and if we asked for something while she was there she seemed frustrated that we did. Beyond the poor service was the fact that our meal took nearly thirty minutes to get to us after our order. All we ordered were two chicken sandwiches and there were only about five tables with people at them and three of them already had their food.
The food itself was awful, and I do not use that word lightly. The chicken was so chewy and I didn’t even bother to complain because how long I had waited to get it this first time. Then after this miserable experience I hand the waitress my card when she brought the check (which we had to ask for, nearly 10 minutes after we were clearly done eating). In my fear that I would never see the waitress again unless I gave her the card right away I failed to look at the details of the bill besides the overall cost which seemed about right. So after another five minutes she returned (keep in mind the place is still not busy) and I actually looked closer and noticed I had been charged two dollars for milk (which I most certainly didn’t order). After several failed attempts to get my waitress’ attention she finally came over. Looked at me like I was stupid to even mention the milk (I know it was only two dollars but I didn’t want to give this place a penny more than I had to) she sighed and said she would get me two dollars. It took almost ten minutes for me to even see her again, then I had to flag her down to get my money.
That is a long story so if I had to sum it up I would say: bad service, long wait times for simple dishes even when not busy, and food that wouldn’t have been worth it even if the place ran smoothly. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

If you like very loud, beer drinking men around you while you eat their pitiful small wings… then this is your place. Oh, and the slowest, least friendly service even sitting at the bar ps. Shreadded chicken on nachos is goid, but watery can cheese… barf. Shredded pls

One star is too much for this place… I hope this place close early. The place was supposed to close at 12.00.we ordered at 10.15:after ate 2 appteziers and drink 2 beers, first we ordered other staff and then the server told to us that the kitchen was closed (At 10:45)…Also:the place was empty and the appetizers (so bad) came after 30 min… We left the place and we were still hungry… That’s ridicoulus…

We stopped in here to have a dinner and to talk. I had lasagne with garlic bread. the taste was better than expected from a sports bar. The service was nice and polite.

I ate here tonight with my father. Sadly it was not too great of an experience. We didn’t know it was «live trivia night» and we paid the price for that. The «host» alone was bad enough to make us rush through the meal just to escape the torture.
I ordered a bbq cheeseburger. It was a bit over cooked and chewy. The burger was served on two pieces of Texas toast that were abit hard but had decent flavor. The burger as a whole just lacked flavor and was very underwhelming. The fries are your standard frozen variety, nothing special.
I frequented a different location of this bar back in the day, but this was not like I remember it being. There are much better choices in the area if you’re feeling this type of food/​atmosphere. I’m going to pass on here from now on.

Only customers there, we were seated immediately, got our drinks quickly, but it took forever to get our entrée and the service was poor.
The food was basically a kids meal on a large plate.

I came to this place in a lunch time and it was not busy. However the service was slow and kind of impolite. But i enjoyed my meal especially the grilled chicken. that this was delicious!!! If the service was more professional I would give definitely 4 stars but now its just maximum of three:)

Yikes… I thought this was going to be a good experience.
Came on a Saturday for lunch– not at all crowded. Seated right away.
Our server, Kristen was on point. Knew all the specials, the menu, etc. She was the high point our visit.
That’s when the fun ended. We waited almost 30 minutes for our appetizer.
My mom got her cup of soup over 40 minutes later. She wasn’t crazy about it– too much onion for chicken and rice.
As of this writing I am STILL waiting on my chicken Cesar salad. Really? It’s been over 50 minutes! Other tables are having similar issues as well– it looks like the whole dining room waiting.

This is a neighborhood sports bar. That’s all the enthusiasm I can muster. The food is acceptable.

For the most part each time I have gone here, I have gotten good food, good service and they have a great atmosphere for watching sports. There are also some nice specials each day of the week.
