Terrific local spot, still yet to be discovered! Everything fresh and delicious! Try the lentil soup, cuke salad. Family owned and operated. Super friendly. Eat in or take out as you’re heading South. You won’t be disappointed !! Marley B

Decent lunch options for vegetarians/vegans. The lentil soup was flavorful. Will be back when visiting the Keys.

Stopped through on a weekend getaway in the Keys. After a few days with paltry vegan/vegetarian options, I was pleasantly surprised to find Eco Eats! I was even more excited to know all their soups are vegan. I ordered the lentil soup and the stir-fried tofu pita as a wrap. They were happy to accommodate substitutions which always makes for a more enjoyable customer experience. The food was delicious and service friendly. I will definitely be back when I visit the Keys!

Still the best sandwiches/wraps in the Upper Keys. I love this place. It offers healthy choices that taste amazing. Others have tried to copy them but there is none like the original… always my choice for lunch.

Surprised that this place is rated so low. I love that they bring healthier options to Key Largo. Came here today with my boyfriend originally for a smoothie and ended up with a whole meal. We both shared a peach pear apricot smoothie which was delicious. I had the Cayo Largo Wrap & wished it wasn’t overdressed by the mojo dressing. It took away the taste of the other ingredients. Theres much potential for this wrap with improvement. The split pea was decent & enjoyed its earthiness. The pasta salad was delicious! My boyfriend had the Curry Chicken Pita & he liked that it tasted fresh. Good contrast of texture with the apples, grapes & the alfalfa sprouts. Curry flavor was a bit strong & could be toned down. Overall, we would come again.

On our family vacation in key largo we stopped here for a quick bite. It was close to the resort and we didn’t want to sit for long in a restaurant. They are vegetarian/vegan friendly but it is really limited to a tofu wrap and a veggie wrap so if you are soy free, this will not work. We had the split pea soup which was vegan. The other chicken wraps in the menu sound nice if you eat chicken but not sure that they are healthy as most are prepared with mayo and some heavy sweet dressings. They have a smoothie menu but we didn’t try any. The whole idea of the place is fast food with healthier options. If you are not really strick with your diet than I guess this can work but not if you have health concerns and diet restrictions. The place is located on a strip mall with an Office Depot and family dola. Next to the café is a laundry mat. Unfortunately, lots of locals doing laundry but also lots of smoking. We sat outside as there is only one table inside. But we couldn’t finish our lunch by of the heavy smoking outside. Hard to eat with the smoking around. This is a big negative for a café that is trying to sell their«healthier» fare. Sure eat healthier bc the smoke will kill you. Also, it seems is a family owned little place which is pretty cool and we support small locally owned places. The folks were nice.(Advice to the owners: they should hire a young active person for the front. As it goes with what you are trying to offer. A heavy person sitting in the front counter is not ideal for a healthy store. We almost turned back because we believe you should do what you preach which is healthy eating). The place does not have a bathroom so be ready for this. Or it may be very dirty? We asked if we our kids could wash their hands and we were guided to their prep area amd the three wash compartment where they have to wash their dishes. A big no with the health department. By this time we had already stopped eating but it was not pleasant to see they are not very clean.

This is just a review of the smoothies, we didn’t order anything else. As reviewed by the last person the smoothies are made with a some frozen fruit, a splash of juice and ice. I also saw the guy add some water at the end(hidden behind the blender) to make sure it was blended all the way. It tasted very watered down and my husband’s didn’t have any taste at all.

We really liked this place! It is a simple sandwich/wraps/shake place, with fresh, sustainable ingredients. We were diving that afternoon, so wanted something not too greasy. I had the Capri for $ 5.95, and it was tomatoes, basil, mozzarella, with balsamic & olive oil drizzled on them, served toasted on whole grain bread. I liked this very much; it definitely hit the spot. We’re thinking that we’ll return there tomorrow AFTER diving, since I want the pineapple piña colada shake. My husband had the Eggwich for $ 5.95. It was an egg salad sandwich with sprouts and a dressing that we thought was balsamic vinaigrette, also served on whole wheat bread. He enjoyed this very much; the egg salad was flavorful and quite good. It was a counter service place, but the manager kept checking on us, so service here was excellent. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a very affordable, not greasy meal. Cheers! Heather W

Good simple food, wraps like you would get anywhere. Better than a subway.

I wanted to love this place! It is in a strip mall next to the dive store and I was ready for some healthy eats. The staff was friendly, but the food was just not special at all. The smoothie descriptions sound fabulous, but my Pineapple smoothie seemed to just be juice and ice blended. The lunch menu is limited and so I just ordered a salad. My salad was a bit small and was mostly just romaine hearts — some of which were browned on the edges. It just was not as fresh as I would expect. We went at lunch time so I would have expected everything to be super fresh! Maybe we just ordered the wrong thing…
