Way Over priced. Capt josh was extremely good Only depending on location to survive. Drinks horrible, bartender does not know how to make drinks. Very over priced drinks. Worth only to sit on the patio for a sunset but don’t bother the food or the way over priced drinks.

Instructed to check in with hostess but she was no where to be found? Gave up and sat at the bar to order lunch. We had fish tacos blackened they were a little on bland side and the fish wrap with chile sauce & stuffed in pistachio wrap was ok, it was labeled spicy but it had no kick. The key lime colada was very tasty but overpriced. $ 13.00!

We got to snooks on Sunday for a fathers day lunch at 3:55 pm they sat us down and gave us the dinner menu and told us that lunch was over at the time. I can understand if we got there at 5pm but at 3:45 pm to order a dinner thats a joke. We ended up eating appetizers and a drink and left to go eat somewhere else. Manager didn’t care there lost! Will not go ever there again.

The only reason I gave 2 stars was the waiter was nice. 1.45 hours to get our dinner, wife’s fillet and entire meal was cold as was my burger and fries. Very disappointed we got up and walked out.

I am so glad to have found this place! Almost passed it, but so glad we took that little alleyway road that lead straight back to the restaurant and the water! What a beautiful view! Walking out onto the little pier with my drink in hand was very cool! The water is so clear! Like glass! A MUSTHAVE is their lobster reuben! GASP!!! It. Was. Amazing. I may have shed a tear when it was all gone, but there are no witnesses to confirm this! It was so, so hot that day but the ice cold drinks pacified me very well. If ever in Key Largo again I’ll be back! Next time for the live music.

Food was great, view was amazing, and the service was out of this world. Josie was the bartender and she is the best! She was friendly, helpful, and fun. She never stopped moving. We went 2 nights in a row. They have live music and great food specials.

2 ½ really. Just ok. Nice location, cool place. Food just ok. Limited app selection. Mostly all fried. No conch salad or ceviche. Need to update menu on Unilocal.Service was not good. I asked for a children’s menu and the waitress said she can just tell me what’s on it because she was too lazy to go get it I suppose. Then I asked her to have our bloody Mary’s spicy and her response was«We don’t make them spicy here, but I can bring you Tabasco». Now I’ve never had a bartender ever tell me that they will not make it spicy, so I imagine it was another lazy move on the part of the waitress.

Beautiful venue right on the water with patio or sand seating. Had a full bar with live entertainment on the Sunday afternoon that I went. The food was great and so was the service. Started off with a traditional Bloody Mary that came full loaded with bacon, celery, a huge gulf shrimp, a pickle, and an olive. It was too spicy, nor was it watered down like some places make them. I liked it so much I had to order 2! My boyfriend also ordered their speciality piña colada made from scratch, and WOW. I couldn’t even snap a picture of it because it was that great. Very creamy and fresh tasting, highly recommended over the pre-mixed one even though it’s a little more expensive ~14 dollars. For appetizers, we shared the tuna nachos, the jumbo coconut shrimp, and the fried crabkins. All of which were excellent! The tuna nachos were 3 large nacho chips with a heaping scoop of ahi tuna on each, smothered in some wasabi cream and like a green seaweed type salad. The jumbo coconut shrimp tasted like a typical coconut shrimp, but wasn’t too bready and you could definitely taste that fresh shrimp. Last, the fried crabkins were so cute like little conch fritters, but made with pure crab meat. For my entrée I had the traditional lobster roll… Compared to the lobster rolls I’ve had in Boston, Massachusetts it was quite amazing. That’s saying a lot to compare it to the golden standard of lobster rolls lol. It was filled with a lot of meat on a really nice, sweet french baguette of some sort. Definitely a must if you visit this place and I was amazed at how inexpensive it was! The lobster roll was only about ~14 dollars which is unheard of in South Florida for any type of delectable seafood sandwich. And lastly, for dessert I had to be bad and get their Reese’s peanut butter mousse pie… I’m a huge fan of peanut butter and chocolate so it was a home-run for me. Maybe not the best choice for someone who isn’t as fond of it as I am, but it was excellent. Overall, the experience was great. It was also nice to go walking out on their little pier and take some pictures on the water. Next time I would like to sit right on their water-side bar to be right on the ocean and I will be sure to try more of their drinks for the vast selection that they have. I will be back soon!!!

***AVOIDATALLCOSTS*** So I just ate here with my family, first stop after hitting the island, as it was recommended by our hotel receptionist. When we arrived we didn’t realize that it was an out door restaurant and asked the waitress if there was inside seating. She said«what you see is what you got» so yeah we should have walked out then. After we sat down my mother asked her a question about the specials and the waitress made it clear that she had been interrupted and went right back to her spell. Crappy service continued till the end of the meal. I tipped 10% which considering was damn generous. Get this, she had the nerve to shout in front of everyone, «was something wrong because you only gave me a 10% tip». I was amazed until I read all the other reviews, all awful service. Don’t just avoid this place, RUN from it, wish I had!

Live music and fabulous dinner. We were treated to shell bracelets, early Mother’s Day appreciation. Dirk was attentive and pretty damn funny. Although he thought I was annoyed with him, so at the end of the evening he asked if he’d won me over. Awesome place! Check it out. Great food, beautiful views, and witty service.

When you live in South Florida you would think a waterside bar or restaurant wouldnt impress easily. Well this one does. Live music & entertainment. Drinks looking out to the marina & bay. Great food & drinks.

My friend and I went to Snooks last night to cap off our«discover the keys» excursion. Snooks was my favorite night out. Good food(though a bit pricey) — I got the indecision he got the spicy seafood linguini. Both were very tasty. But– don’t come here for the food — come for the the wait staff, the locals, and the atmosphere !! All of which are 5 star. After we ate and watched the sunset the staff wanted you to stay and hang out. There was NOPRESSURE to turn the table. That was a surprise experience which was also extremely enjoyable. — so we took them up on the«sunset and chill» vibe and stuck by the bar while smoking some cigars.

Cruising by on the boat happened upon Snook’s… Certainly wasn’t expecting an epicurean experience but was delighted with the selection of fresh seafood apps that actually tasted like they were pulled from the ocean earlier in the day and delivered to our table! The crab bites– holy moly who would’ve guessed they actually use REAL crab meat! «Taste the difference!» Ok so I’m a fan of coconut shrimp pretty much anywhere they know how to batter and fry something but the dipping sauce was awesome! Definitely a new favorite.

We came to Snook’s for a nice, waterfront lunch on a Saturday. Even though I live about an hour north and frequently go to the Keys, I’ve never been here. The ambiance is amazing. They have plenty of covered and uncovered gulf waterfront seating with live music. The service was friendly and welcoming. They also do a big sunset spectacular where they pick a guest to sound the«sunset horn. We ordered the Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich and the Crabcake Sandwich; both were out of this world delicious. The crab was a generous portion, extremely fresh and cooked to perfection. The cheesesteak was made of thinly sliced top-quality steak and grilled onions. We also ordered beers which were reasonably priced; domestics and imports ranged from $ 4 – 6.50; crafts were $ 7. We can’t wait to come back again!

That view though! I came to Snook’s for a casual lunch in the Keys. You could’ve fed me anything and I probably would’ve been happy. With one look at the beautiful blue bay in front of you, anything goes. Thankfully, I went with fish tacos and those were pretty tasty, as well! You can get them blackened or fried and I went for blackened. The fish was topped with pico de gallo, lettuce, cheese, and some red pepper sauce. I was also given Cholula which I doused on top. Overall, they were really good and filling. I didn’t love the French fries on the side but the tacos were satisfying enough. I grabbed some key lime pie to go which basically became a car snack. The crust tasted more coconuty than most and there was an unnecessary(in my opinion) green sauce drizzled on top. Worth a try though! Driving down the highway, you have to be on the lookout for the«Snook’s» sign and don’t confuse it for the Bayside Grill right next door. They have a large gravel parking lot which is convenient. Service was really friendly but I was a little bummed they didn’t tell me about the stone crab specials(I overheard them telling other tables while I was chowing down). Since I came right when they opened midweek, there wasn’t a huge crowd nor music. It was great if you just want some tasty food al fresco, but I’d definitely be interested in coming back for a little more festivity!

We had heard from a friend who has a house in Key Largo that Snook’s had been totally renovated so we checked it out one night for dinner. All I can say is WOW. Of course they have the requisite oceanside location with a dock so you can drive up by boat. However I was surprised at how nice everything else was. In addition to the ample indoor and outdoor seating there is an emormous tiki(with chandeliers hanging from it) providing some covered seating. The real star here is the FOOD. We started with a shrimp cerviche which was ok but the entrees were incredible. Yellowtail Bayside — This is a pan seared snapper with crab cake and bernaise sauce. WOW, the fish was flaky and delicate while the crab cake provided some rich meaty substance. The bernaise sauce put it over the top. Mahi Coulis — The coulis is basically a thick sauce made with sundried tomatoes which perfectly accented the mahi, artichokes, capers, and polenta. Another heavy hitter. Special — Mahi stuffed with Lobster, Scallop, and Shrimp purée — AREYOUEFFINGKIDDINGME? This was probably one of my favorite dishes I have had in the Keys, and I have had some excellent dining there. This was basically a delicious seafood explosion in taste. Overall this place is a little on the pricey side but with such great food and view it is definitely worth it.

Très bon restaurant et service parfait et Agreable. Accès au coucher de soleil sans pareil… Assez rare dans le coin de trouver un restaurant sur le bord de mer(je sais c est surprenant…).
