Good food … good service… we stayed at the Hilton Resort and the Treetops was our only choice when we got there. The food is good. a little over priced… but that was expected.

What can I say… awful food. The calamari tasted like rubber tires and came with fried tentacles that looked raw and slimy. Overpriced blue label scotch at $ 50. The funny part is that it didn’t even have the color of a blue label or let alone the taste. But I wasn’t in the mood to cause a dispute. But lets focus on the food. Lobster bisque tasted like it came straight out of a can. The bread was stale and reheated. The WORST was that short rib garganelli. When they brought it to the table, the smell was repulsive, and looked like boiled dog food. It looked nothing like short ribs. And the pasta looked like it was store bought. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and tried on small bite… tasted like boiled beef with no flavor. I asked for the check, and left with a taste in my mouth that only a good single malt scotch I had in my room could wash away. I think Hilton is overrated, and the restaurants I visited on every stay in them have all failed. Should’ve ordered Pizza

Way overpriced for what you get! The variety is lacking for being a vacation resort. The service is great! Only ate here because I was a guest.

Ew. This place is. Gross. I mean I did have one of the colder beers on draft I’ve ever had(hence the 2bd star) but it was bad. I got the 50⁄50 salad it was supposed to be have kale half romaine. The Was no kale and it came with Sand, lol, it was a sandy salad. And the parmigiana cheese tastes like rubber. The. I got a mahi sandwich in pita. The fish was good(thank god) but instead of being inside the pita it was just awkwardly put on top. So the Pita was just super soggy. Why would they do that? No one wants soggy bread. Then the next morning I came down for a coffee. No for the fifth time I said I don’t have a breakfast coupon, I just want to sit down and have a coffee. That was very difficult for them to understand. It was awkward and lame. And the coffee was bad. And I am no coffee snob

Service was good but the food was really basic. We went on Christmas Eve but the food tasted like it was pre-cooked and they just served it from under the heat lamp. Nothing special at all about this place. Definitely not worth the prices! Only go here for the convenience if you stay at the Hilton.

I went here a few weeks ago with my boyfriend for brunch and we sat outside on the patio. AMAZING view, I mean breathtaking! The service was wonderful. I ordered the Nutella stuffed French toast and it was FANTASTIC!!!

Only ate the breakfast buffet here. It is standard hotel breakfast buffet food here but the setting is nicer because of the outdoor seating view. The indoor very air conditioned seating is nice too. The buffet covers the basics… eggs, sausage, bacon, oatmeal, muffins, a few pastries and an omelet station. Orange juice and coffee are also included. The staff are nice and attentive. Cost was $ 19 per person. You can also order off of a menu which seemed a bit more pricey. Overall not bad but if you are used to breakfast buffets at most midrange hotels in the US, this is like that only with a nice view. People dressed casual for breakfast as if going to the beach or sightseeing.

Great service, but breakfast less than satisfactory! The breakfast buffet has a nice selection of hot breakfast staples and eggs cooked to order are included with the buffet. My disappointment lies with the Eggs Cooked to Order. Their Executive Sou Chef(Initials: MR) clearly does not know how to properly cook eggs of any sort. I watched him cook 5 people’s egg orders while waiting for my selection of an egg white omelet. He broke the yolk on 2 orders of Eggs over medium and still served them to the guests while struggling to get them out of the sauté pan. For another customer and my order of omelets, we in essence got scrambled eggs. A proper omelet has shape that comes from folding in the ingredients and then flipping half of it over. This chef just dumped egg mixture on top of the ingredients, cooked it and sloppily put it on a plate. When it was presented to me it appeared as the egg mixture was barely cooked. I requested that the eggs be cooked a little longer, which the chef accommodated my request. Overall very disappointed with a lack of ability and/or possible desire to cook a proper omelet at a nice resort restaurant.

We didn’t want to leave the hotel so we tried the 3rd floor dining area. We were casual from the Tiki bar but you could definitely dress up for a date here. Inside was cooler that the outside seating area. The service was excellent and the surrounding were very nice. Not being to hungry we split a filet mignon, cooked perfectly with a mushroom sauce. The side of potatoes with goat cheese was not great. The garlic mashed were delicious and also the mac n cheese was tasty. Tortilla soup was ruined by the vegetables.

I think about the only two things this place has going for it is a very overly eager hostess and the view. Beyond that, not much else was good here. I’ll start with the ok. Breakfast was always alright. We got a voucher for«free» breakfast with our stay. That got us the breakfast buffet or any one item off the menu. The buffet was decent. It came with the standard stuff. Bacon, sausage, pancakes/french toast, fruit, pastries, etc. It also had an omelet bar which I think really saved the day for breakfast. The bacon and sausage wasn’t bad either, but everything else was just meh. I feel like buffet is hard to do anywhere and this was fairly decent for buffet. Not good enough to save it from the horrid dinner experience. We came to dinner here during our first night at the Hilton. We had been driving all day and didn’t feel like venturing out. We got a nice table overlooking the ocean and I was excited to eat. Up till this point all of our meals had been really outstanding(minus a few impressive, but not stellar meals). For my main course(the appetizer was completely forgettable) I got the yellow tail snapper. Now I am not a big fish eater. I normally don’t like fish all that much. However in the keys I had been eating nothing but fish. It is fresh, local, and they know how to cook it. I guess the Hilton didn’t get that memo though. The fish was almost inedible it was so bad. The only reason I didn’t send it back is that I am just not that type of person. I once found a piece of wood in a salad and I had to fight my friends who wanted to send it back. The fish was overcooked, under seasoned, and took a bowl full of lemons before it became even remotely decent enough to eat. It felt like a crime that the fish was so poorly cooked and tasted so bad. I had fresh yellow tail snapper very recently and it had such a delicious flavor. This tasted nothing like that, in fact it almost tasted old. A place that has so much access to fresh fish should know how to prepare it and how to get the best quality. The service was ok here too. Nothing to write home about, but also nothing to skewer them for. Really it was the quality of the meal that just shocked me. No matter how decent(not great, decent) everything else was, that one fish totally tanked this place. 94⁄100

Seriously, this place is a joke… Extremely expensive for food that is just plain aweful. The breakfast buffett is ok, but everything else we ordered(we are FL residents so the Hilton gives you 25 bucks a day to spend at the resort, which is probably the only way they get customers here)… was just terrible… not even Gordon Food Service quality. Servers are nice and pleasent, but need serious training on how to be attentive to customers. but with the horrible food. don’t even bother. terrible for a motel 6, let alone a Hilton.

For being such a high priced menu in a Hilton Resort, this restaurant was a real let down. Our first night at the resort we decided to try this restaurant and were planning on returning for dinner on the following 2 nights. We ordered a chicken Caesar salad, a small cheese pizza and a conch chowder. The first thing that came out was bread. The bread was good. Then it went downhill from there. The chowder was ok, not the greatest and came in a tiny bowl that didn’t even amount to a cup. The salad was also nothing to write home about. Dressing was kind of sweet and croutons were stale. Pizza… I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s the worst pizza I have ever eaten in my life. And I am well traveled. Have reached the four corners of the globe and nearly every state. This was the worst. We decided to share a dessert. Ordered the chocolate volcano cake. When it came out we were shocked as to how tiny it was. I had a small bite, my wife had a bite and it was done. However it did taste very good. Then the bill. $ 70. Over $ 80 after tip. I could have gotten a much better quality meal at Panera bread for $ 15. Bottom line, avoid this place. There are plenty of other great restaurants in the area and the front desk has coupons to a lot of them.

We stayed at the hotel and didn’t want to venture out from the resort. We walked in without reservations and were seated right away. The menu was decent and healthy. I had the wedge salad and the dressing was divine. Husband had the mahi-mahi and it was perfectly cooked. View was amazing with a great view of the sunset. Waiter was hospitable and respectful, not too touchy feely. There were tons of families with one kid and it had a decent kids menu.

Just like any other bar and grill. Food was okay. And drinks are made too strong. You forget what you were drinking after a few minutes.

We stopped in and figured we’d have dinner and drinks. Well we ordered our drinks and decided to pass on Dinner. The menu wasn’t too appealing, the service was slow and the place was rather dead for a Friday night. Not great signs for a restaurant of course. We enjoyed our drink and moved on to somewhere else for dinner. Very«hotelish» kind of menu and ambiance, not what I was looking for when I was thinking a nice Keys meal!

Excellent spot for breakfast or dinner while staying at the Hilton Key Largo. The breakfast buffet was delicious and so fresh. We grabbed a drink here around sunset(in a plastic cup) and took it to go to enjoy on the dock. The service was good and prices are alright, overpriced for what it is, but it’s hotel food. They could use a good cleaning of their light fixtures(who wants to stare at cobwebs and dead bugs while they eat?)

It’s all about expectations. For what it is — a Hilton Hotel restaurant — it hit the mark. The view is amazing overlooking treetops and the ocean. The food is typical for every Hilton I go to(stay in hotels 75 – 100 nights a year) Good for the breakfast but if you go to dinner here expecting a 5 star experience I question your understanding of where to get good food to begin with.

Just a brutal experience. When we finally got our food, it was actually pretty good. But we waited over an hour for two burgers, a salad and a macaroni and cheese. The restaurant was full of screaming kids and frustrated parents(seems everyone was in the same boat we were), but no manager stopped over to check with us and every time we asked our server for an update, she just got snarkier and snarkier! I’m in the hospitality business myself, so I get that people have off days. Sometimes all people want to hear is «wow, we really screwed up. I’m sorry. Thank you for being patient and thank you for your business.» What they don’t EVER want to hear when their two year old is crying because she’s hungry and exhausted is «we’re doing our best!» …and then to add insult to injury, when we finally got our food, the servers decided to clear the bread plates and silver ware VERY loudly from the tables around us… OK, I get it, you really don’t want my business. Don’t worry, you won’t see me again!

We went for breakfast and ordered of the menu, we had the omlet, yogurt parfait & eggs with turkeysausage. We went 4 times and it was great every day. Service was nice, Judith was outstanding, very friendly and helpful. We did the Date night special on friday and the view is beautiful and you get to see the sunset! The food was also very good(we had the mahi mahi) and service was great. Definately recommend this place.
