Hard Rock Cafe

Worst place and worst experience.
We went there with seven of us on Saturday for dinner. We waited for approximately 10 minutes until we got seated. It was fine until the server came and started serving us. When we placed our order, the server sat down on our booth and started taking our order which I was shocked. I think she wanted to be nice and being casual, but I didn’t like it at all. The server was awful the whole time. I got very upset and didn’t enjoy the time while I was there. The food was okay.
When we got a bill, of course the 18% gratuity was included which was understanding, but I didn’t want to pay 18%. The food was overpriced, so 18% was too much for the service I got. That’s how bad my experience was.
I definitely won’t be coming back here.

Besides overpriced drinks and the nice bartender, Patrick, this place was ok. I’m giving a negative review for the servers. My husband and I walked into the upstairs bar and ordered a drink on a Saturday night. Once one of the tables on the balcony right next to us opened up, we tried to see if we could sit out there. Was told yes by two servers then another, very rude server, made us get up and go back to the bar. He said since we had already ordered drinks we HAD TO STAY at the bar. I told him we had closed our tab at the bar and we’re going to order more drinks but he said I HAD to stay inside.
Meanwhile I’ve been sitting at the bar for an hour looking at the empty tables on the deck…

Having seen a previous review 3 months ago that stated they waited 20 minutes to be noticed, I can say with confidence that that time has been significantly shortened to 7 minutes and only because I got up and asked the bartender if someone could help us. The ENTIRE restaurant was empty. Two servers walked by and never asked if we had been helped. We were told that the host never told the waitress he seated us. Uhhh, what?
The bartender was very apologetic about it, and was the only one who genuinely seemed to care. So yay for the bartender!

Hard Rock Café at its best!!!
I am a fan of Hardrock and duval street Hardrock makes me love it more. Old colonial place converted into Hardrock which is fabulous. The location is so amazing that u don’t need anything else, it’s right there on duval street where u can enjoy every happening around.
We were promptly seated outside which we wanted. The server was nice and quick in service. Tim was the singer playing on guitar who I really like. As usual, the food was really nice. We had jumbo combo which was great.
I think Hardrock rocks big time!!!

Awful experience. Wasn’t expecting a lot from a Hard Rock, but after being seated for 20 to 25 minutes and waiting for a server to come by to take our order (or even realize we were waiting to place an order), we decided to leave.
Pretty crazy considering no less than 5 to 6 servers walked by us without even looking over. Stay away from this place.

Great food and excellent customer service! Patrick was a fabulous bartender and definitely made my last night in the keys memorable. Sam at the front door was Very pleasant and helpful as well! I would recommend this establishment to anyone based on the service alone! Great times! Met some awesome people and made some memories! Upon returning to key west this is definitely on my list of places to stop! The apple cobbler is also something i will dream of

Pretty cool place. Bartenders were attentive and the food was good. The music was fun and lots of people around. The place is a typical hard rock just with less memorialblia. But a good stop while in key west.

Nice! We got a special tour to see all celebrities memorabilia! Excellent location to have an overview of what’s going on on Key West.

On a gorgeous sunny day we thought it would be nice to sit at the bar, enjoy the view 7 have a cocktail & it would have been except for the NON STOP cruise ship visitors every 20 mins all hearde into a very tight space. Understand they must go somewhere, but it makes for a super noisy & unpleasant place for relaxing on a sunny key West afternoon

I had a lovely meal in the historic building that is Hard Rock Key West. It must be one of their nicest buildings.
Our server was very friendly and able to provide recommendations. I had the mac & cheese with chicken and my husband had the local legendary burger. Both meals were delicious. Our server suggested I add broccoli for more veg and I am glad I did. I have had some disappointing meals at other HRC’s recently and this experience restored my faith in the brand!
Although, we did visit the bar on a different evening during our vacation and found the barman to be quite miserable! He was either MIA or just not engaging and we witnessed him being unhelpful with other customers also. The mystical mojito wasn’t the the best either, I didn’t even get any mint in it! So skip the bar and head straight to a table for a meal.

What to say about the Hard Rock Café. Everyone knows the concept: burgers, rock music, chicken wings and beer! The terrace of this Café has enough space to enjoy the Florida sun. They have fans outside, but it is still very hot. The burgers are great, but not the best. During our stay in Florida we had better ones. The waitress was a bit cantankerous. I don’t think we will visit Hard Rock Café next time when we are in the Keys.

We came here for our last night in the keys. I ended up ordering a rack of their ribs and I was not overly impressed. They were kind of on the dry side and I found myself dipping them in more BBQ sauce for more flavor and moisture. Their onion rings were pretty good but it’s kind of hard to mess those up. We did sit outside and I do recommend this if its night time. It can get pretty funny people watching. Our waiter, however, seemed to either not want to be there or did not feel the need to wait on us much. We finished our drinks and were not even offered a refill the whole time we were there.
All in all, I do not think I would recommend this place to anyone. I was less than impressed with the food and service. Do yourself a favor and go try something else new and exciting!

This place was within walking distance from our hotel on Duval Street. I placed an order to go and it was ready when I got there. The price is what’s expected from this restaurant (being a bit on the high end). When we got back to the hotel, the food was still warm and everything tasted great. They were a bit stingy with the chicken and tortilla for my fajitas though. The order only had two flour tortillas and a whole lot of veggies. I preferred to have more meat, but the food was overall great.

A steady staple! Can always count on HR to deliver! Was hot and needed a good place to cool off with great food and drink. HR on KW is it. Great setting and atmosphere — clean and cool. Indoor and outdoor seating to include at two bars. Had their magical Mojito and it was refreshing as advertised along with a double helping deal and the glass to keep. They even substituted the tall Pilsner for the hurricane glass for me since I collect those. Totally professional and courteous staff — their presentation and service is top notch. Had their local combo burger and it was delicious — ask for it. Will continue to come back when in KW.

Schönes HRC in einem für Key West typischen Haus. Das Gebäude hat den Charme eines Wohnhause und ist super eingerichtet mit vielen Sitzplätzen sowohl drinnen als auch draussen.
Sehr freundliche Bedienung und der Blick draussen, auf die Duvalstreet wo sich das Leben abspielt, ist super.
Das Essen ist wie immer im HRC lecker.
Lediglich beim Getränk sollte auf Eiswürfel verzichtet werden, da diese einen Chlor Geschmack aufweisen.

Jason was awesome. Great attitude and had fabulous suggestion for Dessert. Open sitting outside with an Angelic Soulful Sounds of Dora. The weather is perfect for sitting outdoors. A couple of Bahama Mama’s didn’t hurt either. Drop in on your trip down under – Key West

Magical mystery mojito is refreshingly delish. Cucumber, lime, elder flower liquer, and gin. Mmm mmm good.

Good food and they have slot to look at! It’s an interesting place. The drinks are great and made right!!! This Hard Rock has been revamped over the last year and they have new memorabilia to look at. It has a great atmosphere.

We just sat in the bar area, so didn’t try the food and really didn’t have a waiter or waitress but the bartender was very nice and when my slightly intoxicated husband left a massive tip and our credit card, he was nice enough to let us know my husband shouldn’t be «making decisions» anymore. I thought that was incredibly nice, as most wouldn’t act this way.
The music was fantastic, atmosphere was great, and if you enjoy looking through memorabilia at a hardrock, this place wont disappoint. I loved the outside bar and the outside music.

We went to Hard Rock Café after a night of Duval Street parade, since it was one of the few places that did not have super long wait with everywhere else either booked for private party or super packed. It was late at night and their shop was already closed, so we could not get a t-​shirt for one of companion for his hard rock shirt collection. In case you partied too hard, they actually required clothing here.
We started with Jumbo Combo which included few of every appetizer they got. The onion rings and the flat bread with spinach dip were probably the best out of all. The wings and tenders were a bit dried, and the bruschetta was super hard.
Spicy Italian was not very spicy at all, there were just a little bit of topping when compared to a vast amount of thick bread underneath. Twisted Mac & Cheese was an interesting dish, they used a different kind of noodles and added a chicken breast on top, but the favors were on the bland side.
Given a choice, this place probably would not be my first pick. The food was just ok like most of the Hard Rock Café I visited in the world. Our waitress was quite attentive to us and the staffs were all wearing costumes that night.

Natürlich mussten wir auch im Hard Rock Café in Key West einen Stop einlegen. Wie gewohnt war das Essen wirklich super und die Bedienungen sehr freundlich. Das Hard Rock Café liegt super zentral. Für Hard Rock Café Fans sowieso ein «muss» und für alle anderen ist es auf jeden fall einen Besuch wert!

Hard Rock is a classic of classics. This place looks really good from the outside, altough it kinds of dissapoint me when I was inside of it. The service was normal: but I´ve seen that they have a lot of people available.
The menu is huge. I think it has more drinks than others Hard Rock Café!
Apart from that, everything was ok, I liked the presentation of the chips and the hamburguer was delicious, as usual. My boyfriend ordered Fajitas and it came with many options to prepare them.
Location is excellent!

Ein Muss am südlichsten Zipfel der Staaten.
Draußen auf der Straße tobt der Bär … aber drinnen findet man doch immer ein kühles Plätzchen für einen Drink.
Auch die Steaks sind nicht zu verachten … :)

In userem Floridaurlaub durfte natürlich auch der Besuch des südlichsten HardRockCafes der USA nicht fehlen. Sonne, 30 Grad, ein kühles Getränk auf den Terrassen unter Palmen und in den Straßen Trubel und reges Treiben, das ist fast wie im Film. Da kann ich meinen Vorrednern nur beipflichten!
@ K-​Käfer: Auch mir ist aufgefallen das die Bedienung (allerdings auch in anderen Lokalen Floridas) viel lockerer drauf ist als bei uns! Pfeifend, singend, lächelnd, einfach gut drauf!
Fakt ist wer sich auf die lange Fahrt über die vielen Keys einlässt muß hier einfach Halt machen und verweilen!

Das südlichste Hard Rock Café der USA hat auch den Charme der Stadt Key West. Im tropischen Klima hier einen Cocktail auf der Terrasse schlürfen und dem Treiben zusehen macht riesig Spass.

Dass ich auf Reisen auch gerne mal ein Hard Rock Café aufsuche, hatte ich ja schon kund getan. Nach wie vor spüre ich einen starken Unterschied zwischen denen in den USA und unseren, irgendwie ist dort das Personal lockerer, ungezwungener.
Das HRC in Key West ist besonders schön, da man dort draußen in der Sonne sitzen kann. Der Außenbereich ist in kaskadischen Terassen angelegt, so dass man auch eine schöné Aussicht genießen kann.
Speisen und Getränke wie gehabt und von guter Qualität.
PS: Leider ist die katalogisierung in Florida in qype schwierig, das HRC ist nicht in Miami sondern in Key West. Nicht das jemand denkt, mal kurz von Miami aus dort hinzufahren, da man für die Brücken über die Florida Keys incl. der 7-​Mile-​Bridge — schon ein paar Stunden einkalkulieren muss.
