Delicious. They had a crab Benedict. I like low carb so they let me trade out the bread for bacon and spinach. Kids chicken strips were very generous. Hubby had a crab omelette n loved it.

One of the more popular places to eat here in OBX. Overall a pretty solid place to eat. Breakfast was awesome! Service was a little slow but the food made up for it. They have some awesome specials as well — Seafood Omelette, Crab Cake Benedict, and Seafood Burrito. Also have mimosas!

Great food. Had a shrimp po boy and it was delicious. We had a large party and they were accommodating and the food didn’t take too long to come out.

I did like Bobs until my recent visit maybe the waitress was having a bad day .The waitress was rude. unfriendly and lunch was over priced. Plenty of other choices when I am on the coast.

Joy was an amazing server! She was very attentive and made sure I had fresh coffee. Then when I ordered the pancakes she told me how big they were and suggested one on the side because she noticed I might not be able to eat it all and waste my money which was very nice. She was extremely personable and knew her stuff. When I go back in I am definitely going to ask for her. Thank you Joy for your amazing service — from one server to another.

I had the breakfast burrito and it was very good. Our kids loved saying«get the hell out» since it wS on the sign. Ha ha Husbands omelette was good. Good coffee. The pancakes are enormous. So maybe just one for a kid under 12. You can see it is as big as my daughters head. Would eat here again.

So the slogan is «eat and get the hell out!» The truth is… I’d be happy to if I could get my food! Lol. It was clear that they were incredibly short on waitstaff.

This is a solid 4 with the only complaint that it took 5 – 10 minutes for the waitresses to bicker about who the waitress was as we sat at the counter. After they settled it most likely using the rock, paper, scissors — our breakfast was very good.

Good stuff. We are at one as we were heading out of town and was expecting the rude staff entertainment. We got the opposite. Staff greeted us, and waitress explained the specials. I recommend the daily specials, great price. We noticed a crab meat theme. Son had the crab meat and corn soup and he enjoyed it. So although we were going for a fun restaurant experience based on the slogan, we got something even better… Good food. We will be back!

This is for an older review, but if you’re in the area, try it out! Decent Southern breakfast. As their slogan states, «Eat, then get the hell out!».

Seven of us came here for breakfast, only waited about 20 minutes. Service was quick and efficient. We got coffee(okay), three stack pancakes(average), country fried steak(very good), felicias burrito(great!), garbage omlete(incredible), biscuits and gravy(phenomenal), sunny side up eggs(perfectly done), corn beef hash(good). All plates had great portion sizes. We are glad we went here!!!

I am so sad we waited till our last day in Obx to eat here. I’m kinda sad I’m gonna be 10 hours away from this place! First things first, our waitress was amazing. Attentive but not bothersome, my favorite. Other staff was super polite as well. They have that menu where everything looks so good it’s hard to choose. If that’s the only problem I have when I go to a joint, I’ll survive. I went on a limb and got the shrimp and grits(because honestly I’m not the biggest fan of grits). That may have been the best decision I’ve made this whole vacation. Seriously. If you go you must get them. Also, biscuits and gravy was A++. If you’re looking for a good, stick to your ribs breakfast this place is a MUST!

Average overall. For the most part this diner was exactly what we expected. Came on Sunday so couldn’t order alcoholic beverages until noon. No big deal if you’re seated at 11:45 like us! Bloody Mary was better than expected. Screwdrivers were made with cheap vodka, but we didn’t expect top shelf. Breakfast burritos were the best plates on our table! I highly recommend! Don’t get the French toast; it is made with average bread, not Texas toast like advertised. Kudos to Bob’s for having peanut butter though! Bob’s daily grill breakfast was average & satisfying. The motto here is eat & get the hell out, but they were very prompt. Speed of service was perfect.

Good food, fast. Typical breakfast diner menu with the product on the plate as expected. I’m not a fan of their slogan«eat and get the hell out», but I didn’t feel rushed. In fact our server was quite nice. We’d return for a breakfast with or without a group.

Shrimp n’ Grits were ok(grits filled with peppers, onions, gravy, cheese, shrimp, and sausage) — nothing extraordinary, I liked my hubby’s breakfast better. I like a little kick to my shrimp n’ grits and these were missing something.(How? They were filled with lots of ingredients!) Hubs had the American omelet, which was cheesy and yummy. The restaurant was crowded, but our order was taken and delivered quickly.

While this was not our first visit to Bob’s it was the first time I sampled the lunch menu and used the restroom. The wait staff is friendly and helpful but the food itself is generally run of the mill for a breakfast joint. It was late enough in the morning that I decided to scope out the lunch menu and was intrigued by the fact that they had po’boy — my ‘go to’ at any restaurant where it’s available. I ordered the oyster, light fried at the suggestion of our waiter. The serving size was nothing to scoff at, coming in as the largest po’boy I’ve ever ordered and a side of remoulade never goes unappreciated, I wasn’t however impressed with the choice of doneness, as the meats were borderline raw. The restroom served its purpose but left much to the imagination and the soap dispenser had fallen off the wall. Definitely not a ‘go to’ but an option as far as reasonable prices on the beach.

Came in on a Saturday morning after a 5k race during bike week. Had a line but it went fast. Staff is super friendly and helpful. I would come back for sure.
