Old Chicago

Gotta say the only thing that really kept me coming here was a beer called Hacker Pschorr, and for some reason they decided to do away with it, WTF, bring this beer back! It has a great rating on beer advocate, and was definately the best beer yall had, yall seriously need to bring it back! Im going on strike

Not bad my first time here was for lunch. The Pizza and salad was Hugh. The personal pizza was enough to to share. And the salad was fresh.. And not too much dressing was on them.
Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. And was a wonderful experience. Took a star off cause there are a bunch of chicken dishes. There are other meats.

As friendly service as you can find in Killeen. Even entering with a group of 12 at 9:40pm they still helped us and served us as if we were the first table of the day. Clean, quick, friendly and staff is always dressed to impress. from this guy!

Food was good, the waiter was horrible. More worried about his buddies at the bar than his tables.

You go to Old Chicago to drink. The food is top notch though as well. Over one hundred beers on the menu and so many interesting foods rotating on the menu. It’s an awesome place. Fun little rewards for completing the beer tour and the mini tours.
Here’s a hint. Always do the mini tours and you never have to drink a crap beer like bud or coors. If you like those, well they are there too.
So go for the beer and enjoy a nice meal.

Sat right away. Waited 25 min for drink order. Food was missing. People are friendly. Décor and restaurant itself was nice. Food was not worth the price. If you like beer for a good price this ain’t the place. Roll the dice.

Nothing special or bad. Just a casual restaurant to hang out with friends or family quality time. Staffs are kind and nice.

Got served raw wings. I didn’t eat them and I still got charged for them. I brought it up to the waitress and she relayed the message to her manager. Then I asked why should I pay for something not done right. All they deducted was $ 2. Then they offered me a free appetizer coupon. Once I came home I noticed the coupon was expired from a year ago. GTFO!

Food was alright. Had to suffer through a rap music show while eating. Unbearable music.

What started off as a pleasant experience at the Killeen, Old Chicago has become another example of poor service at yet another Killeen, TX restaurant.
I’m dining alone today, so since the football game is on, I sat at the bar. The bartender when I arrived was friendly, attentive, and since this was my first visit he was extremely helpful in explaining the menu.
The food arrives and it’s nothing special. It wasn’t bad, it just didn’t leave me very motivated to recommend it to a friend. Unfortunately, about the time my food arrived, the bar had shift change and I have sat here for 45 minutes, with an empty drink, and the new bartender hasn’t spoken to me once.
I’ve purposely sat here just to see:
1.) How long will I be ignored?
2.) Will my drink ever be refilled?
I had to get someone else to tab me out so I’m thinking my glass will never be refilled. I give up.
Verdict? They obviously don’t need my money here, so I will take it elsewhere in the future.

Excellent service! I believe her name was Lyn. The pizza was pretty good too. The only reason I did not give it a 5-​star rating is because we have not tried anything else. We’ll definitely be back!

Unbelievable food and service. Worth every penny spent here. Waitress was amazing, food was served hot and it was delicious. First time here and I am definitely a fan. It will be hard to beat the quality of food here.

Overall the food was good, got the triple pick appetizer sampler. And a «thick» crust ½ pepperoni pizza, this pizza was pretty tasty coming from a Chicago native, it sure beats Giovanni’s pizza in copperas cove, our waiter seemed awful flustered and the drinks took awhile each and every time although there weren’t many people in the place on a Wednesday night at 8pm. Pizza was worth it! 3

Ok. Tried the thin crust and is was ok. I asked for Extra cheese and fresh Basil and that did not work out. Basil was all in the center and the cheese wasn’t melted in the middle. I requested «well done» and did not happen. I don’t know if the bartender didn’t order it or the kitchen just didn’t care, I’m leaning towards the kitchen, and that’s jus LAZY. Deducted a star cause none of my requests were met. This place was slow so NO EXCUSES

My girlfriend said three stars, i ld say 2 but that is maybe too harsh. Service was great, but i expect that … We came here to eat.
Two kids 11 & 13 were with us so this is a group verdict. The ‘meat me’ was the best we had from what we ordered with thick crust but it is a 2.5 at best. But it was lacking meat and meat variety. It’s cut like a pie as it should. We ordered a Royal Margherita pizza and it was too little flavor for my Queen and the worst thing, the round pie get’s cut into squares like little cookies … WTF for? It’s not pizza, it’s a squary hell enforced on a round pie … And you know what? There is no square solution… It’s a nightmare!!! And it ain’t pizza :)
The wings are ok but half an order is 5 wings and a full order is 9 wings. A result of public education?! How about a half dozen and a dozen? They were expensive enough.
It was disappointing while the service is good. The food is far lacking behind flavor and value. It has nothing to do with Chicago if you know what I mean.
If they put as much effort into their pizza as i put in this review, i could write just one line. There is potential… About three stars worth of potential for the price charged.

The level of service has increased dramatically. And now that they offer a gf crust, I can enjoy pizza again. Yay!
HOWEVER, check out the two pictures I posted of the sad excuse for pizza toppings. We even asked the second time for them to ensure there were adequate toppings. The result was a pizza that had no toppings 2″ from the crust.
Other than that, I do love the pizza and will most likely be back.

Brian, Prince & Marian. Three of the greatest servers I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. Customer service here seems to be spot on every single time. I’ve passed by this place many of times to get to the mall but I never thought to try it out until one day, I ended up feeling adventurous. So as soon as I walked through, I was greeted by a warm smile & seated pretty much immediately. It was during dinner time so there was a fair amount of people here to get their grub on. I always sat at my same favorite table since. It is time to give you some food ratings. Italian Garlic & Herb Wings– MY FAVORITE. I’m a dry rub kind of person. Calzones– Holy heck they are HUGE & that is an understatement. Pizza– Good, a bit salty but what pizza isn’t (Please don’t be a smart a** & say vegan) Appetizers aren’t really my thing but I have to point out the nachos. If you order those nachos, prepare to make room on your table. That dish is ridiculously large & quite delicious. The chips are certainly different from your typical nacho chips. Omme Gang Beer– The strongest after taste I have ever tasted. Not a fan. Mac & Cheese– Bland so I say stay away from this particular dish. Cheescake– I have yet to find a dessert that disappoints me. A very relaxing atmosphere. There’s no question that I would recommend this place.

The service was great. The people were happy from the start and the host was very attentive to our children. When we asked if it was possible to do a kids pizza gluten free the answer was, «if she needs it then it’s possible!»
The food was good but not great, which is why it doesn’t make five stars. The menu was far more broad than I anticipated and our whole family found something we wanted.
Good job by all. Even the manager came by to see how we were doing and give us the $ 2 off Unilocal coupon. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The reason for two stars is only because my son enjoyed his pizza and my husband enjoyed his pizza
The bad things;
1. Their salad has nuts in it and I was not informed about that.
2. Their margirita pizza was extremely greasy, it was taken off the bill and I was offered a $ 10 gc (I gave it back)
3. They served my daughter dead food (it looked as if it sat in the window) the plate was extremely hot and the pasta was not. The second time around it was still looking less then appetizing.
Won’t be coming back anytime soon.

This was our 4^th time coming here and man o man was it disappointing! The prior 3times was great. We have ordered 5 different pizzas and they have all been amazing! But today we decided to not order pizza and all our orders were mediocre. My husband had the buffalo wings — not great. My cousin had the Swiss Mushroom — nothing special. And I had the chicken Stramboli and it was the worst. No flavor. Definitely stick to the pizza and beer!
As for the service, it has always been great until we stumbled upon Sarah! She was awful. Didn’t bother greeting us. Didn’t leave the menus. You could totally tell she hates her job! I hope we never get her again!
