Not a big fan of chain restaurants but Bonefish can delivery a great meal. Their meal for two for $ 50 has good selections and satisfies with their bang bang shrimp appetizer, two entrees and a shared dessert. Quality service. Good atmosphere. Decent wine selection. We will visit again.

Great service from Brendon. He explained everything on the menu we had questions about and recommended the brunch blackberry sangria. The drink was amazing. Didn’t enjoy the food that much, that’s why it is a 4 out of 5.

This location is inside a mall so we stopped in for dinner on our way home. Since we didn’t have a reservation we had to wait 40 minutes. The food was ok. the service was great. The part that i didn’t like was the food came out too fast. We were in the middle of our apps and the dinner came out. Um. If I wait 40 minutes for a table I prefer NOT be rushed thru dinner. Our table was literally next to the next party. I guess that is the way they set it up. ASKFOR A BOOTH so you can have some privacy. Make sure you order later so your food comes out at the proper time. It was pretty expensive and the portions were small. Will I be back? maybe with a reservation. lol

Visited: Friday — May 6, 2016 — 6PM There were several waiting diners. Despite our placing reservations earlier in the day, we were handed the iconic device that alerts diners when the table is available. Fortunately, we were seated within a minute. Our server gladly took our drink orders and ceviche appetizer.(Ceviche — chilled bay scallops, marinated shrimp, fish, fresh pineapple, coconut, cilantro and guacamole, seasoned crisps for dipping) We waited for almost ten minutes to receive our drinks. We waited for another minute until our server informed us that the ceviche appetizer was sold out. Disappointed but, undeterred, I chose the sesame encrusted tuna sashimi appetizer($ 12.90); my lady friend, the mussels($ 11.90). I enjoyed my tuna app but, the mussels were plump, tender, and quite delicious.(My attempts to switch apps failed. Oh, well, I tried.) She ordered the trout($ 19.30) and I, Pad Thai Shrimp(rice noodles, green onions, peanuts, egg + traditional Pad Thai sauce($ 14.90). Her fish was good but, when she tried to switch entrees, I refused… kidding. We never switched but, we enjoyed our respective dinners. We’ve dined at the Newtown Square, Pa location often but, our first visit here definitely won’t be our last.

Not sure why the servers wear chefs coats… Next time I go I should dress like a doctor or a policeman. Service was very slow and unattentive and just flat. No excitement. Had to keep asking for water and drinks time and time again… Our server was MIA for most of the night and not really interested in being there. Salt, Salt and more Salt If you are trying to eat healthy this is a definite«must pass» on this sodium mine. The ceviche rings in at around 2 thousand milligrams of sodium. The coconut shrimp over 3 thousand milligrams sodium. The shrimp pad thai is a whopping 4,500 milligrams of sodium. Every dish is just too salty. Check the nutrition facts on the net before your visit. I did have a nice size portion of seabass but they over cooked it. Server blamed the cook and offered nothing additional. Poor service is a direct reflection of poor management which is the back bone of the restaurant business and this place serves plenty of slow unattentive service with unhealthy food. Will have to pass on the very unhealthy«seafood restaurant»

Food here is great the lighting is perfect will continue to be a patron. It’s right in the mall so it is accessible to all. Prices for seafood are comparable to others in the area but the quality and presentation hell of a lot better. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Shopping at the mall today, never been to a Bonefish before but heard wonderful things. We sat at the bar, wanted drinks and appetizers. Sat at the bar, what a beautiful place! Ordered a Moscow mule myself, boyfriend got a captain oj. Drinks were VERY strong. Bartender seemed new and service was a little slow was she was attentive. We started and shared a bowl of the corn chowder with crab. Delicious! I then ordered the Ceviche and he got the boom boom shrimp. Both were delicious. My boyfriend and a boom boom Shrimp fanatic! These were the best and a large portion! Very worth the money! For myself, never had ceviche before so I can’t compare but it was delicious! Very fresh!!! Will be going back!!!

Ever since I went to a Unilocal event here almost a year ago, I always think of returning. I’ve been back for happy hour, lunch, and dinner. Every time it’s a great time. Recently they were having Monday $ 5 Martini’s all day. So I certainly partook in that a couple of times. On my last visit we had the pleasure of sitting at the bar with Meredith and Dwayne. Both were outstanding, personable, and make a killer martini. On this visit I had the espresso martini and fresh pineapple. Both very tasty. For dinner we shared the Sea Bass with green beans and mashed. Loved the bass, but wish it was caramelized a bit more. We finished the meal with my favorite dessert, crème brûlée. It was a very big shareable portion. I’ve enjoyed all my experiences at Bonefish and look forward to my next visit.

Very solid chain food and this location is new and modern looking. The food is on par with other Bonefish restaurants I have visited around the country. The fish is fresh and tasty. I love to start with the side cesar and house bread. So good. Service at the bar was prompt.

This is the second time that I have been to this location, but the first time was for a Unilocal party, so I didn’t post anything. They definitely deserve all these stars! In the food here and the service is absolutely great! I saw so many things on the menu I wanted to order, but my stomach is only so big lol. I kept it simple and went with a cheeseburger with bacon. They got the order wrong and couldn’t be more apologetic. I’m in the biz, so I wasn’t worried about it, but they clearly were, so they tried to take better care of me. I always appreciate when they keep you informed of what was wrong and how they are correcting it. When I finally did get my food, which was only five minutes later you, it was absolutely delicious. I’ve had burgers and other places that are similar to this and for a place that does not specialize in burgers, they did a great job. I think I will need to try this place again for some of the other items, because I know that the Bang Bang shrimp is banging lol! Anyway you definitely want to give this place a try, even if its just for great service!

My boyfriend and I came here when it was first opened by the King of Prussia mall. Walked in and got seated right away . I started off with bang bang shrimp for appetizer. It was pretty good. Tasted very similar to the volcano shrimp they have at grand lux café and ordered the bang bang shrimp tacos for entrée. Taco version would be a 3.5. I think I like it better as an app. For drink I’ve ordered the hawaii martini, it was very good. My boyfriend had the lobster bisque soup which he likes very much and the half pound Kobe beef burger. He said it was okay . My waitress was nice and attentive. Very friendly service. My overall experienced was okay here. Would rate this place 3.5.

If you’re looking for a sit down experience with little wait? This is your place… Not sure if it’s their location in the mall(back forgotten corner) or if it’s them but we were here the wkd before xmas and waited only 15 mns during the dinner rush and then was back for after xmas sales and it was pretty empty during Sat brunch time compared to Grand Lux which had a 1 hr wait time. *scallops w. mango salsa, green beans and french fries: tasty dish and the mango salsa adds a nice bright note to the dish *bang bang shrimp tacos: the tasty app stuffed into soft tortillas, great combo. Comes with 3 which is pretty filling for lunch *blackened baja fish tacos: hubs was happy with this choices, also was filling *kids menu chicken fingers and fries: this looked tasty and the fries are good *GF menu grilled chicken and steamed broccoli: if you’re looking for GF friendly then ask for their GF menu

The food was great; however service was a bit lacking the night we went. I called in advance to tell them it was a special occasion(my mother’s birthday.) The girl who took the reservation was great and even told me my mother would get a free slice of cake with her birthday dinner. We purposely went on a Wednesday so I could introduce my family to the infamous Bang Bang Shrimp on a night they were on special(every Wednesday they are $ 6!). We were seated promptly, and our food was brought out in a timely manner. Everyone had the bang bang shrimp and my grandmother and I also had the corn chowder which was awesome although there was only a sprinkle of lump crab in it(the description makes it sound like it should have more of a presence but it was tasty nonetheless). My mother became full on her shrimp and canceled her salad; however the waitress left it on the bill. I also had to remind her about the free dessert we were told my mother got for her birthday which was brought out, dropped off, and left(she didn’t even wish her happy birthday or sing like most restaurants did although they did have a lit candle for her to blow out!) My final turn off came with the bill. My mother was charged for the canceled salad, although it was canceled pretty quick after ordering so that had to be adjusted. I think the manager ended up doing it since our server went MIA. When we asked for to go boxes for our shrimp, she brought the box to the table and just dumped the shrimp, lettuce and all, into the boxes and walked away. Real classy. Most places will get everything ready in the back and definitely wouldn’t dump the lettuce garnish in with the take out. Her attitude while doing so made it obvious she wanted us out asap. I think we even had to ask for a bag for our take out. My family raved about the food, but our service could have been better. I had an amazing experience there during our summer elite event, but my mother’s birthday did not live up to expectation unfortunately.

I won’t be back… I had previously eaten at this Bonefish location soon after it opened. It was average at best. I went back on Wednesday night with a party of 6. We were promptly seated for our 7 o’clock reservation. When we opened our napkins and took out our silverware, three of us had received dirty utensils. I don’t mean that they had stains from the wash on them, they had actual chunks of food on them. We really should have just walked out then. Our server, who was friendly, told us that bang bang shrimp is half price on Wednesday, so we ordered three orders. They came out very quickly. They were good, and reasonable at half price, but I would not pay $ 12 for a regular order. I can make them at home myself for half of that. An hour after our Bang bang shrimp had finished, we inquired as to where our food was. We were told it was being plated. 10 minutes later our entrees came out. 2 minutes after that, our salads came out. As far as I know, salad usually comes before the entrée. My shrimp and scallops were undercooked, and did not have their lemon butter sauce. Not only that, but $ 20 for 2 scallops and 4 shrimp is absurd. When my reheated entrée came back out it was still missing its sauce. I was not going away any longer. So I ate the tiny meal. The mashed potatoes that came with it tasted like they were from powdered potatoes with some added water and cardboard. The alleged potato au gratin that also came with it was worse than Stouffer’s cheddar potato bake. One person in my party found her fish to be dry and tasteless, while others said that the tiny crab cakes were not nearly as good as they are at the local diner. The restaurant only has one beer on draft. There is no Wi-Fi. Service was subpar overall. No manager ever came over to our table, despite the fact that we requested to speak to one. All six of us agree that we should have gone to a different chain seafood restaurant down the street, where we would have had a bigger better meal for less money, and with better service. There are so many better options at the King of Prussia Mall. Between the dirty silverware, the mediocre service, and the bad food, I think it’s clear why I will not be back.

I have written a review before for Bonefish but for a location in New Jersey. This location is just as good. I have been here a few times and every time I have had excellent customer service. So far I have not had to wait for a table but since it is located in the KOP mall I am sure they have busy times. As always the Bang Bang shrimp is a solid choice, and so are the scallops. My favorite sauce for the fish is the pan asian or the mango salsa. This time I also tried the spicy tuna bowl… very good choice! Plenty of food for the prices, and add a cup of the lobster bisque to your meal they have a great recipe here!

The only thing good on the menu is the bang bang shrimp(BBS), but even that is questionable due to the amount of mayo they use to make it. I got exceptionally bad service this time, but this review just focuses on the food. On Wednesdays, it’s ½ off BBS, so that makes it only $ 6. You could double down on that and have it as your full meal if your arteries can handle it. The crab and corn soup was very heavy. It was like drinking butter and cream, with a few pieces of corn and crab. It was just alright. I’ve had way better crab and corn soup that doesn’t go heavy on the butter and cream. The special tonight was swordfish. For over $ 20, they give you a small piece that basically tastes like well done grilled tuna. It was chewy and dry, and I knew I would be disappointed before I even took my first bite. The BBS is the only reason why you would even come here. The people were very nice though, and I did appreciate that the restaurant manager said hello to every table. You don’t normally see that in other restaurants.

Bottom Dweller. That’s how I now feel about Bonefish. While I’ve never been a fan of big box chains, Bonefish Grill has always been a go to for when local wasn’t an option. No longer. Forget the almost too open dining room(honestly felt like I was in a dimly lit university dining hall), forget the fact that the standard table bread arrive after our meal did and forget that the food was average at best. What stood out as inexcusable was the service. I’m always use to a crowd at Bonefish, so I made a reservation for 7pm, prime dining time. We arrived at 7 on the dot to a nearly empty restaurant. Not a good sign. I made a joke that I was here for my 7pm table but that it clearly didn’t matter. The host, dead serious, said he had to go check and see if the table was ready. The manager happened to wonder by and over heard, which he responded to by laughing. The host still proceeded to check on the table. 5 min later, we finally sat down. The food was average for a quick bit out, but definitely below average compared to other Bonefish that I’ve been too. The salads were wintered and browned, the bang bang shrimp was soggy from having sat around too long and the steak/fish over cooked. Nothing ever got cleaned off the table, except for my 1 knife… which meant I had nothing to cut my dinner with. On the way out, the manager and his staff were playing a card game on the iPad… totally hilarious. I might spend a little more time figuring out how to fix my restaurant over what poker hand is the best. I would be shocked to find this location still in business after a year. Not only is it bad at its job, but it’s location in the mall is just not right for its price point.

Dinner at bonefish tonight was probably the best thing that happened to me this week! On a hot Wednesday night, my friend and I decided to come for dinner. I had two glasses of wine all night, Santa margarita Pinot Grigio and William hill chardonnay. That went along with my cilantro lime shrimp salad! The salad was amazing, very reasonable price and the shrimp was so full of flavor I absolutely loved it! We also got the bang bang chicken instead of shrimp, that was absolutely delicious as well. See, that was my first time at bonefish, ever. I always said that the service is half of the experience. Morgan as our server, she was very knowledgable about the menu and was very professional and friendly. She checked on the table few times and she described the food in a way that just made us was to order it. She was an excellent sales person, I would buy anything that this woman try to sell me. If I ever go back and she is working I would definitely would want her to wait on my table again. My overall experience was very positive, even though I barely go to chain restaurants but I think that bonefish will be one of my favorites from now on. Thank you, Morgan for making our night special, and thank you bonefish for for the delicious selection of food and wine.

I’m not a big fan of chain restaurants. In fact, I normally avoid them at all costs. But after attending a Unilocal Elite Event here a few months ago where I was completely wow-ed, I promised to return. And return I did! On a rainy Saturday, the wait was about 45min so we stalked the bar until 2 spots opened up and we parked our butts there instead. I’ve gotta say, I was super impressed with the staff during the YEE and our bartenders, Morgan and Wren, continued that trend! They were phenomenal, personable, hilarious, fun, and the icing on the cake of our visit. My friend and I are both very social so we really appreciated being able to shoot the shit with the gals. I also introduced myself to the manager, EJ, who had hosted our YEE and he was just as awesome as I remember. Seriously, your staff is A+++! For food, we had the potsticker app and then I had the ahi tuna bowl and my friend had the chicken dish. She’s actually not a big seafood person, but there were still plenty of options for her as well! The potstickers were SO good, as was my tuna bowl! The sauces on both were great! Unfortunately, I had made the mistake of eating too much popcorn at our movie prior to dinner so I didn’t even get through half my stuff lol. Oh also, the dishes are absolutely BEAUTIFUL! You’re kind of like wow I don’t want to eat this because it’s this pretty art piece, lol. We each had a few different of the signature drinks and sangrias — all were very fresh and light which was super refreshing on a super humid and rainy summer Philly day(and being full of popcorn ugh). Our food did take quite a bit of time to get to us to the point where we had the girls go check on it for us. But it was a busy Saturday night and we were content to just hang out at the bar and such, so it really wasn’t a big deal. I really like that Bonefish changes out their menu regularly. It makes them kind of like the anti-chain chain restaurant. Bonefish has swayed me not to count out chain restaurants altogether. Ok maybe I’ll count all the others out, but Bonefish can definitely stay in my pocket for future visits. Bonefish has hooked me as a repeat customer(pun intended)!

Talk about a well oiled machine. Bonefish Grill KOP delivers quality service and some tasty options. Make yourself a reservation for prime time hours as this place is already packing it in. The décor is quite trendy and romantic. With an intimate feel Bonefish Grill is a great spot to take a date. Cozy up by the dimly lit bar, and grab a cocktail before your meal. For food options I can recommend the Tomato Avocado Panzanella Salad. Chocked full of fresh tomatoes and screaming with avocado this salad is something to be reckoned with. Also, their Corn Chowder + Lump Crab soup is yummy, on the sweeter side, and a great complement to dinner. On an ere of caution the entire meal was very salty. I recall that the salad had a hidden piece of bread under the greens of which was so salty I only took two bites. I am a bread man, and it is a shame the bread had to be wasted. Also, my crab cake /soft shell crab dinner well appropriate contained powdered mashed potatoes; unacceptable! Continuing, our service was spot on. The server was friendly, able to answer any questions about the menu, and quite attentive, as our water glasses were constantly filled. Prices at Bonefish are more than appropriate, and the portions are adequate. You will go home full.
