Anytime Fitness

Well I joined up with my 13yr old daughter which I can’t take there because the jerks at night think they own the place and shout out profanities and walk around with no shirt and sweat all over the machines.
There is a small group of gym rats that are there almost every night between 9:00pm and 11:00pm. I walked in last night and the one main gym rat had his shirt off and of course wears those pants that look like girls tights and appears to have a sock stuffed down his pants.
My daughter won’t go with me anymore and I really don’t want this first gym experience to turn her off to exercise or going to a public gym. Why does management not see these guys with the cameras walking around with their shirts off and basically making it uncomfortable for normal people to go exercise without having to listen to the loud grunts and screams and foul language. Last night they were standing in the middle of the gym flexing and taking videos of themselves flexing without shirts on. Get a life guys and do that crap at home. I don’t want to listen to you guys or see you guys. Plus the fact that without a shirt you sweat all over the equipment and then just get up and leave a puddle of sweat for others to deal with.
Hey managers. Look at the videos between 9:00 — 11:00 almost every night there. Same guys every night.

I was given wrong information when I signed up and therefore apparently I am now stuck in a contract with these people. Make sure you read the fine print because the way it is written is NOT the way it is discussed when you sign up. I don’t want them to have any of my medical information.
Also, the gym stinks ALL the time, it is not clean, the machines are out dated, and the TVs never work, etc.

Okay this business is as shady as can be !!! Once you sign you are screwed !!! I have never heard of a business that doesn’t allow you to cancel your membership at any given time even with a cancellation fee ! Nope not them your stuck !! Besides that they are rude. Stay away from this place

I take negative feedback very seriously and don’t post it lightly. I wish I never went to this place … LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES AND STAY AWAY!!!
I wish there was a way to leave a negative rating FOR Anytime Fitness. I went there over 3 years ago, bought 3 a week training sessions for a year and a half. I quit going over a year ago after experiencing my second injury here while training under supervision of the staff. FIRST… achilles tendinitis and then a shoulder injury that caused limited mobility in my rotator cuff that I am still recovering from. I would let them know about my injuries when I was at the facility, and decided it was in my best interest to no longer use the services they offered. I didn’t stop their auto draft until I changed cards… and today, I found out that after all the money I spent here that I have been reported to a collection agency for services that I did not use.
I left this service with two injuries and now this business owner has DAMAGED MY CREDIT SCORE, and caused me a significant problem. UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Anytime is a fairly good gym for light to moderate exercise. Its clean, staff is friendly and has an all around good atmosphere. However, its relatively small for a gym. Gets crowded pretty easy and they could use more weight training equipment. For example, it only has one flat Olympic style weight bench and one Olympic incline. Also, it’s a bit pricey for its size and amenities. If you’re into serious weight training and willing to commute, go to Gold’s. If you’re just looking for a good moderate workout and willing to pay the price for convenience, Anytime is the place. If you have to choose between Anytime and its neighbor Oxygen Gym… GO TO ANYTIME!!! Staff at Oxygen get pretty bad reviews for a reason.

I love this gym! It is a great value for the membership fee, and the place is always clean. Andy does a fantastic job assisting anyone who needs help. The staff truly has the best interest of their customers!

I’ve been working out at Anytime off and on since January. One thing that kind of sucks is that the gym is small, but anyone who signs up here knows that. During the day I find there are too many people on machines I want to use.
I’m dying to use the phrase «they only come out at night», but I’ve never seen any freaks at this gym. Maybe I’m just referring to myself. Anyways, I only go here at night, because I’m usually awake really late anyways. There’s hardly anyone here after 11pm.
I have gone during the day before and one of the trainers has spotted me a few times and even gave me an extra tip about hand positioning. I thought that was nice. A trainer at 24 Hour Fitness wouldn’t even breathe at you unless you handed over a bill with at least Benjamin Franklin’s face on it. I also like how they frequently update their bulletin board with nutrition/​fitness tips. They also have sign-​up sheets for extra classes (which I assume are free). So that’s cool. I, however, struggle with commitment. You can also go to any other Anytime Fitness for no extra charge (I think). Which is awesome.
The one complaint I have is to any other member reading this: RACK YOUR EFFING WEIGHTS. You put them on in the first place, so use 1 more % of your muscle to take them off, please.

absolutely no customer service. you are not a person but a dollar sign. andy is useless and redundant.
if you choose to sign up with anytime fitness READ your contract. FRONT and BACK. and then read it again. it’s their job to do all they can to get you in. not to make sure you know what you’re getting yourself into.

they knowingly forget you’re a person. it will all come down to the contract no matter how long or how well you know the trainer. that’s the anytime fitness business model.
