A friend and I tend to walk around this store from time to time to see the interesting and overpriced pieces that they have for sale. It is always nice to go into a store and be stalked as you look at their wares. I have found several things that I would love to purchase there, but the attitude of the staff does not lend well to actually making sales.

A nice place with really cool furniture. That said its a tad on the expensive side in my opinion. Somewhere between Eurway(RIP) and Urban Living. I’ve visited in search of bargains only to head north on I-35 to Ikea. Frankly, I’m really astonished its survived this long being in the middle of nowhere. Looks like its gotta loyal Unilocal following :) The staff is always friendly so three stars for the place. Funny, If I’m gonna drop some serious $$$$ I’d just rather buy a motorcycle next door at Cowboy Honda instead of a couch I can’t ride.

Bought some furniture here. Their staff is friendly and they don’t stalk you like other places(one place I went to at South Park Meadows, the salesperson literally said«I won’t bother you too much so you can look around», but she followed us around and made comments on everything we looked at.) The delivery company they use are pretty good. They covered the sides of doors and miscellaneous corners so that they don’t scratch up the walls. Other delivery services I had for appliances did not do that, and they scratched up the sides of doors and stuff.

I’ve perused this store’s website many a time but had yet to hit the brick and mortar until today. What a fun excursion! You’ll see a lot of Eurway/Urban Living type of stuff but actually a bit cheaper. Some barstools selling for $ 129 ea at Urban Living were actually $ 98& change here. If you’re living Southside, it might be worth the extra gas money to come on down. Seems a tad nicer than Eurway too… they stock a boatload of Angela Adams rugs(which are by far the coolest of all rugs, hands down), lots of funky glass & ceramic vases, that kind of thing. What you see is what you get, as with Eurway… you can’t most of their stuff in different colors other than what they show on their floor. If you live on the north side of Austin, maybe it’s not worth the mileage when you can just go to Eurway/Urban Living… but if you are in the ’04, you’re in luck to have this spot in your back pocket.

In a word? Amazing. I wanted to buy up the whole joint. To each his or her own furniture tastes, but mine ideally run a bit modern(a fact belied by my current furniture). The great irony is that I lived within walking distance of this place for a couple of years, popped in on a couple of occasions, but am just now getting to the point of buying some furniture. And buy I will. Wowza, Motif: all sorts of modern, elegant, and reasonably priced pieces dot this showroom, and we were so jazzed to amble around the place today that our thoughts immediately turned to scraping together the scratch to buy all the things that we wanted. I’ve looked at lots of furniture lately, and these guys do a top-shelf job of providing pieces that are at once timeless(well, except for the clocks) and affordable. And as soon as I can transfer it all to my living room, I’ll be set.

My house has two stories. So I was always looking for big size art decoration for my house. I know this furniture store for a while, but every time I drove back to Austin from San Marcos outlet, I was too exhausted to go there. Finally I stopped by after shopping from factory outlet. Their furniture is very modern like Copenhagen. And price is not bad. I picked a huge 6 feet tall golden bush. It only costs me $ 60. I like their budda painting so much. But it’s out of my budget range.

Since we just moved to Austin, we’ve been spending a lot of time in a lot of furniture stores. I have to say, this was the most interesting of the lot. Almost everything was attractive, interesting, and different. Unfortunately, not much of it went well with our plans for the house, but there was enough here to make us consider changing them. The staff were friendly without being overbearing. The salesperson stayed a few minutes to chat even after we made it clear that we weren’t likely to be buying anything, then went away and let us window shop on our own. The store isn’t quite on «furniture row», but if you like a modern or euro style, it’s well worth the drive to take a look.
