Wings To Go

This place is Ok. The wings are alright but we can never get more then few things of ranch. We asked for 2 Extra things of ranch get home and have 3 for 16 wings, fries and fried pickles it Pretty annoying even when I made sure to ask we had extra when I picked them up. Also the fries pickles were gross they were soggy and nasty only ate a few. My husband will probably still get the honey BBQ wings from here but not sure about anything else.

Can I give this place 0 stars? My husband and I love wings, and were pretty excited to learn that Kyle had a wing place when we moved here. We gave it two chances, and both times the wings were soggy and disgusting. The second time we ordered, we got 4 different flavors of wings and literally every single one tasted like FISH. How does that even happen? Fried in bad oil? I don’t even know. This place now has a permanent «nope» from us.

What the hell? I order double blue cheese i get zero blue cheese. Never again. Not asking too much, am i? Just get the order right? How is that such an impossible task? Rethink your career choices.

My favorite place for wings is Wingstop, but since there isn’t one near me in Buda, we figured we try this pace. The Service was great, don’t know what it’s like when its busy but is was good today with only about 5 customers. The wings were ok, I think we could have made something similar at home. The lemon pepper was not very tasty and the Cajun was just regular old hot sauce. The fries were ok also but nothing too special and I’m sure the onion rings were frozen. I guess I would have given it another star but it was more expensive than Wingstop and not even close in quality.

We stopped by for a quick lunch yesterday Saturday @ 2pm, not busy, quickly attended to by our friendly server-​even though she forgot to hand us menus-​she took our drink orders and handed us menus. I ordered a buffalo bleu cheese burger and our server asked me how I would like my burger done! Really? Medium rare if possible… (got my hopes up) My wife ordered the fajita wrap stated that it was okay, just small for the price… or it may have come with a small order of fries or a bag of chips. Ordered fried pickles when we placed our order and we received them quickly with a side of ranch. Those were the worst fried pickles ever, well done but, bland, no seasoning whatsoever, none not even salt! (and sitting in a small pool of oil) We received our order and you know bleu cheese burgers usually have bleu cheese crumbles, well forget that, I got a 1.5oz. to go container of the generic wings to go bleu cheese with propylene glycol (antifreeze) and MSG… my burger and the wrap arrived shortly after the pickles. Good timing. The burger was cooked to death! Medium rare was well done. Both the bartender and our server asked how everything was and when we stated that we were displeased, they shrugged it off and laughed as if we were kidding. My burger was way over cooked and the way it was served was totally unacceptable, the bottom bun was drenched in «buffalo sauce», extremely soggy (was never given a choice as to what level of spice I might like), the ribs of lettuce (romaine?) weren’t cut out and used on the burger… I had tried to, and had a chance to work here, but the manager (female, don’t recall her name) dropped the ball… shame…I’ve over 30 years experience in the food service industry and… never mind… this isn’t the first «not good» experience I’ve had here, just the first I have written about. Guess if you’re drinking alcohol, who cares what the food tastes like. This has to be one of the worst WTG in the state of Texas.

Came here last Friday around 5:30. There was about 10 people in the restaurant. It took 15 min to get 2 beers. I told the waitress we were ready to order our wings, she said she’d be right back. We waited for another 15 min. And decided to leave when we noticed that the couple next to us was getting irritated because no one had taken they’re order. I think they may need to hire more people.

Just picked up my order and I was not pleased. The styrofoam boxes that our food came in were melted looking like they microwaved our food, and the food tasted reheated. The fried pickles and fries were soggy. This place has gone downhill. Disappointed.

This place has some awesome wings and great service! I usually go on Thursday evenings for awesome Karaōke! The staff is personable and the Beer is oh so cold. Always the best thing happening in sports on the TV’S and probably the best live entertainment in Kyle. I know they are called Wings to Go, but if I were you, I’d stay while you eat the wings! Family Friendly!

Ate at Wings to Go and food was great! Short wait, Cold Beer, great salads !

The Good

The Bad
— It’s sad that a restaurant named Wings To Go would have terrible wings. Well, I guess the wings themselves were okay, but the sauces are just bad. We ordered a few different sauces at our table and they all tasted exactly the same (so much like plain vinegar and not much flavor).
— The food took FOREVER! I can’t understand how that was possible since even though it was a Saturday evening we were one of two tables there. I saw our happy server trying to hustle in the kitchen. I don’t know if our order was never placed or the kitchen lost it, but it was ridiculous.
Unless you are trying to kill time in the strip mall and just need a cold beer and some fries, I would DEFINITELY skip this place. Considering all their negative reviews and the fact that nobody was in there, (while Garcia’s next door was hopping) I can’t see how they stay in business.

Horrible customer service. Actually, no customer service. Rude staff, bad management. Don’t waste your time on this place.

I had to make myself something to eat after I picked up our to-​go order! They forgot the fries on my combo! Then… to top it off… I ordered 5 boneless and they were only a lil’ larger than the width of a quarter!!! NO JOKE!!! I paid for food I didn’t get and ended up having to get something else! Not happy!!!

Do not waste your money, and more importantly your time, at this place. I called in a To Go order last weekend promptly at 8:00 pm. This was after my first failed attempt at placing an order, in which I waited on hold for nearly 10 minutes before being hung up on. I was told my order would be ready in 15 minutes. I entered the establishment right at 8:15 and was informed my order was not ready. The place was busy and I couldn’t find a seat, so I stood near the bar where I was practically ignored by the staff for the entire time I was there. My order was finally ready at 8:42 pm — nearly 30 minutes after I was told it would be ready.
We ordered boneless wings, which were dry and a little on the small side. The overall quality of the food and service is definitely subpar and I will not be returning to this place. If you want wings, do yourself a favor and head to Pluckers, BWW, or any place but this.

I’ve eaten/​drinkin here several times due to the proximity of the restaurant to the the gym that my daughter attends next door on a weekly basis. Not sure about all the bad feedback and comments here, but I’ll be coming back on a regular basis to get my wing fix on!
Portions are HUGE for their boneless wings. I’m a big dude and had a hard time finishing off 10! The flavor is way better than the chicken wing places in San Marcos I’ve been to. Best wings in Kyle/​Buda hands down. The Philly is amazing, again can’t find a better one around.
Waitstaff and bartenders have always been super nice & friendly. Never been really packed when I go, so the staff has always been attentive. This is in stark contrast to the neighboring Mexican food place.
Couple good games to entertain myself too, darts, and the addicting bar top video games. Witnessed a Thursday night once as well, the Karaōke is epic fun to watch.

All the reviews on here are spot o and wish i had read them before going to this shit hole. The owner just needs to close down so something better can go in its place. The 3 keys for a successful restaurant and this place fails at all 3.
Service: only had one server, so of course service was slow red flag # 1, almost every review complaint about hair yet all the cooks did not have on hats or hair nets. Red flag 2 showing that no ones cares to fix problems.
Food: it took fucking forever and when i got the wings they were over cooked and dry as fuk. And over priced!
Atmosphere: dirty dirty dirty! All the tables need to be cleaned crumbs everywhere. God i hope i dont get sick from the hell hole.

So bad. The wings actually made me depressed. But the service was even worse.
My friend found an extremely long hair wrapped around a wing, and when he brought it to the attention of the bartender/​manager, not only did he accuse us of planting it but he became verbally confrontational before asking us to see ourselves to the door.
Things I was willing to overlook: no limes. Workers repairing a broken touchtunes machine in the middle of the restaurant. Broken lock on bathroom door with a sign reading «lock broken please knock». Someone not knocking. Broken wifi.
All they had to do was cook a good chicken wing.
I wouldn’t return to piss in their broken toilet.

Now, from time to time, one craves chicken wings. Juicy, saucy, spicy, meaty, delicious chicken wings.
Jordan W, Jordan W. Jordan W… where do I begin? — Never in my years of being a foodie have I come across such an incompetent individual.
Food — see attached photo of the disgusting 6 inch long blondish hair found hidden deeply under some non-​succulent sauce that was possibly purchased in the food section of Walmart — Fried chicken wings until done but in a permanently soggy state — add bottled sauce from 7-​Elevin and that sums up our other two baskets of wings — Serve a side of attitude, oh… and lets not forget to throw in some hair for good measure. When I inquired about the hair, I was thrown into a combative conversation and accused of it being my own hair. (my barber uses a #2 clipper by the way) also, I am not blonde??? Then my friend and I were told to see ourselves to the door. Paid full price for everything and waited about 40 minutes after asking for the check, there were only two other people in the whole place!
He made absolutely no effort to apologize for his misunderstanding of where the hair may have came from or to improve our experience. Miscommunications happen between staff, especially in the restaurant industry, and it’s the manager’s job to mediate between the waitstaff and the customer to ensure a pleasant trip for the guest while keeping the restaurant’s best interests in mind. And here’s the thing: my friend lives down the street and we probably would have spent a significant amount of money in this depressing sh*t hole over the course of the NFL season. All of that revenue, in addition to sales to our friends and his neighbors who we will undoubtedly warn away, is lost to them because that guy was such an _​_​_​_​_​_​_​ (you can use your imagination to fill in that blank)
Bathroom — essential to any wing establishment (water) to clean up those sticky fingers, trickled out of the faucet. a sign placed upon the outside door reading (knock before entering) lets you know the lock of privacy has been broken. Pretty much a place as new as this has so many defects going on they should shut down and reopen when operating efficiently or just close down permanently. Please do the later.
Wifi — None. The End. When inquired about wifi… «our neighbors have it» Much appreciation goes out to Casa Garcia’s for saving the day!
The actual chicken wings, they were hacked into pieces with jagged, exposed bones. Whoever was cutting the wing pieces did not have any such experience it seems. The resulting wing pieces didn’t resemble the normally-​familiar wings and drumettes
It almost pains me to write this terrible review. oh wait, no it doesn’t!
If I could give them negative stars, I would… To reiterate DISGUSTING… I wouldn’t eat here again if they paid me.

Doesn’t even deserve the one star. Over priced and the food is terrible. The only flavor this place has is grease and lots of it! Won’t eat here again! Can’t we get better quality here in Kyle? I will continue spending my money in surrounding cities.
