If I could give this location zero stars I would. I went there a couple weeks ago and staff never showed up at the 10:00 a.m. opening time. I called headquarters at least four times and they strung me along. They kept telling me their employee was on their way. I waited until noon and finally left. I will never go there again. Poor business practice!!!

I went today, Friday at 3:00. It was closed. The sign clearly states that they are open on Fridays. What the heck?!

Been here 4 times. I used to go to the one in La Canada behind TJ Max before it got close down. I wish it was still there! This place seems extra busy. Maybe because the one in La Canada is closed. The first two times I came here, there was a guy and he was rude. He wouldn’t take my glass bottles because he said he was already full. He said come early. So when I arrived early(visit number 3) he told me the same crap! I went off and told him what he told me a couple of days ago and then he took my bottles. The last time I was here, there was a girl, and she wasn’t rude. If it wasn’t for her, I would have given one star only. The best thing about this location is that it’s near a boba place and Cold Stone.

I had a good experience. Guy was very polite and gave me my money without me having to go into the store and wait in line. My only complaint was that the need more recycle, i.e. trash cans, so we don’t have to wait to fill ‘em up.

Today I joined the line at 12:35. The girl(I think the same one mentioned in previous reviews) said that she was closing for lunch at 1PM and could not take me or the person just ahead of me. I came back just before 2. She was there, but said her lunch break extended until 2:30. When I pointed out that the website said that lunch hour ended at 2, she said, «you’re behaving like a child.» I suggested, with some vigor, that she should not talk that way to customers. I will never go back there again, and no one else should, either.

I would come here because it was close to home. Not to be sexist but there was always a gentleman to assist with recycling. The last three times we went there was a young girl at the helm and she has no clue. The first time there was a long line and she kept jamming the compactor. Instead of assuming responsibility for her failure to operate it correctly she blamed us saying that because we crushed the cans before bringing them in, it caused the machine to jam. I have brought in crushed cans many times prior to this and was never told NOT to crush them. The next time the scale was on the fritz and she said«well nobody has come in today so I didn’t bother to call anyone to fix it.» GREAT — thanks for wasting my time. AND finally today was the LAST straw. That young girl was there again — it was 12:45 pm. She refused to take me as she said she was on her lunch break The hours on the website said LUNCH1 pm — 2 pm. I told her it wasn’t 1 pm yet and she said to me: Aren’t YOU entitled to a lunch at YOUR job? What kind of rude person is this? There is no respect for the times posted and caused me yet ANOTHER wasted trip. If she is there, expect a problem. I will not going back there again.

This place has disappointed me for the last time. I come here often when I have several bags of recycling to turn in. In the past I’ve been turned away when they’ve had«too much glass»… that just pisses me off. How are you a recycling center, and turn people away?! Well, I reached my boiling point this past weekend with this place. On Sunday I arrived at 4:30pm on the dot(they close @5pm) with numerous bags of recycling and my family in the car. The girl who was working there told me that she was closed and wasn’t taking any more recycling for the day. When I asked why she was closing 30 min early, she said it takes time to clean up her mess from the day. I asked nicely if she could possibly take my recycling because I had my family in the car and it took time to stack up all of the bags in the car and drive over… not to mention that the center is advertised as closing @ 5pm. She said no, her boss doesn’t like seeing her there past 5pm and asked me to go somewhere else and then walked away. Since when does a business close 30 min earlier than their advertised hours to clean up?! Where is the customer service?! Won’t be back! Please support another center.
